Chapter 3: A challenge, and a Sword Fight

The next day. I woke up early, and noticed that Chronos's and Surge's KI's were at Capsule corp. I went downstairs, ready to eat a real sayian breakfast. I saw that Gohan, Videl, Krone and Murtle were already finished theirs.

"Good morning Tatum. How are you today?" Videl asked me as I sat down.

"Terrible. Feels as If I have an atomic hangover" I said.

"Not surprising. Turning SS3 does tend to make you very tired" Gohan said.

"Why don't you power up again? You might be able to do some serious training, by maxing out your new power" Murtle said to me.

"Yeah, it will also be less of a strain for you" Krone replied.

"I'll do that, starting today" I said.

After I had my breakfast and a much needed Shower, I got dressed, and headed back downstairs.

"I'm heading out to capsule Corp. I'll be back later" I said. I Flew to capsule corp, and arrived there after five minutes. When I got there, Pan was there soon after.

"Hey Pan" I said. She replied by saying hi.

"Well......This is just great. More brats here" Vegeta said. I looked at him, and gave him a face that shows pure hatred.

"Yo, wassup man" Surge said.

"Thinking of ways to kill this son of a #$@%^" I replied.

"Whoa man. I think you're over estimating yourself" Chronos said.

"Vegeta, you might be a SS4, but I know of ways that I can still beat you" I said. Vegeta simply shrugged it off and spoke to me.

"Is that A challenge?" He asked me.

"Don't say anything" Pan said to me.

"It is a challenge Vegeta. Give me two weeks, and I'll be ready. Here's the deal: You beat me, You can call me and my friends whatever you want. But If, no, When I beat you, you must acknowledge me and my friends by our true names. Do we have a deal?" I asked him. I put my hand out, and he shook it.

"Deal" He said.

"Dude. You just walked yourself into @#$%en $#%^. I feel sorry for you" Chronos said.

"Yeah. Feel very sorry for ya" Surge said.

"Do me one favour guys. Shut the @#$% up. I will beat Vegeta. But first, where is Trunks? I would like to talk to him" I said.

"Right here" Trunks said.

"Trunks. I know you are a master swordsman. I'll let you in on something. Today, I challenge you to a sword fight" I said to him.

"You're on" He said. A few minutes later, We were outside. Trunks was stretching, while I was talking to Chronos and Surge.

"Tatum. Do you want to see our power so far?" Surge asked me. I nodded. The two powered up to Super sayian.

"Impressive" I said to them. Trunks was ready.

"I hope you have your own sword, because this is the only one I have" Trunks said.

"Trust me, I do have my own. Best two out of three Cuts?" I asked him.

"Good enough" Trunks replied. I took off my leather trenchcoat, and raised my arm above my head, and I summoned the masamune. This caused Vegeta and Trunks to stare is surprise.

"The heavier, and longer the sword, the more powerful you can become" I said to him We began our fight. For the first 5 minutes, no hits were made. After that, I rolled, and did a small cut to his face.

"Impressive. You're better than I thought" Trunks said.

"Don't worry, the wounds will heal. No scare will be made" I said. After a minute, trunks was able to cut me in the torso.

"Nice" I said. I began to violently swing my sword around, and I jumped up in the air, and countered Trunks's attempted attack. I did a leg sweep, and did one last, and a very small, cut to the chest.

"I remain undefeated" I said. I helped Trunks up.

"Good work. I underestimated you big time" Trunks said. I looked over to see Vegeta, and he was looking at the Masamune quite oddly. I Shrugged it off, and began to train for my fight against Vegeta.
