Chapter 24: Heart of fire.

Chronos didn't stand a chance. He to, was absorbed. Buu didn't transform. I approached Buu.

"I'm drawing the line right here Buu. Don't even try to absorb me, for it won't work" I said in an upmost gruff voice. I had a plan. If Buu successfully absorbed Tatum, then he would have gained his weakness. It was worth the try.

"Buu, catch me if you can" I said. I used my matter abilities to teleport all over the place. Eventually Buu twisted his neck and the blood rush came. I used my matter abilities again to enter him, and take out Tatum and Chronos. By that time, buu had recovered.

"So, you have used your matter abilities to outsmart me" buu said. I unsheathed my Flame sword, and struck Buu down. I watch, as his rubber body turned into a huge fireball.

"It's time I can say I defeated someone. METEOR DEATH STRIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed. After the blast hit Buu, he was no more.

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! This can't be happening" Bebidi said.

"Sorry but it is. Freeze in Hell" Chronos said. He struck her with his sword and it froze her. He then tossed her into the mountains. I went over to the exhausted body of Vega. He was in very bad shape. I had to call Marron on her cellphone.

"Marron dear, I need you to call 911 and get emergency over here. It is really important, and Can I speak to Pan?" I asked Marron. She soon called 911, while I was talking to Pan.

"Okay what, ya perve" Pan said.

"Enough with the past. Vega is heavily injured, just wanted to tell you that" I said to her.

"Then why to you have to sound so callous" Pan asked me.

"You know what, @#$% you. I'm equally concerned for Vega as well, He is one of my best fried ya know" I said back. For the next -Ahem- part, Vega should tell it.

Vega's POV

I woke up just before I heard Surge swearing at my wife. I stabbed him in the shoulder.

"You know something Surge. You ever swear at my wife, or kids ever again, you will regret it" I said. I pulled out my sword from his shoulder, and I fainted.

The next time I woke up, I was in the west city hospital. I was still mentally exhausted.

"Dr Hadowski, good to see you again." I said to the doctor in the room. He was a good friend of mine, as he was the one responsible for delivering Shira. He is an overly nice person, and he is the family doctor. Outside my best friends and family, he is the only one allowed to call me Vega.

"Ah, Vega, your awake. From what I can tell, you went through Hell and back, and back to Hell" He said.

"Yeah, like I went there, came back, but forgot the Masamune and had to go back. Hahahahaha!" I said.

"Well at least your sense of humor hasn't fizzled....yet. Hahahahahaha!!" He replied. I asked to see my family. Shira and Pan came in after. I hugged them both. I don't know why, but We keep coming to the hospital almost every few months. I'll have to admit this, but I don't want to say this yet. I decided to ask to see if Surge was all right. He was actually next door. I popped over and said hi.

"How are you doing Vega?" Surge said. He was also tired.

"Tired. Sorry about earlier. One more thing. You said I owe you something a few years ago, and now, we are even. Thank you for saving Earth and the universe, and my life. A dead life would not have been worth living without my family" I said to him. He smiled. All I had to do, was wait out the rest of Pan's pregnancy. It was her decision, and I just can't wait.
