Prologue

Trunks lifted himself to his knees. Something was wrong. Were they supposed to be this strong?

``I here you can travel through time?'' 17 asked. He gave an evil smirk. ``We want to know how you do it?''

``You monsters,'' he spat. ``Why the hell do you want to go back in time. Haven't you destroyed enough?''

``That's the point,'' 18 replied.

``Yea, we destroyed so much over here that we don't have anymore fun,'' 17 continued. ``We won't go back and re-do it over again.''

``Damn you!''

``Is that the machine over there?'' 18 questioned.

He laggered to his feet.

``Stay back from that!''

``So it is?''

``Away!''

``It's can't be too hard to work,'' 17 said. They both hopped in.

He limped over. ``No!''

``Just punch in a few numbers....and....''

Gone.

``Nooo!!!!''

He slammed the ground with his fist.

``That course was set directly back to Addy's world. If they get there, who's know what will happen. I have..I have to stop them!! But, how? My machine, it's gone. How can I travel to the.''

``Trunks!''

``M-Mom.''

``Honey, are you okay?''

``They're going to go and attack them!''

``Oh, God.''

``I have to find a way to get back! But..my..my...''

She helped him up. ``Trunks, there is a way.''

``Uh?''

``Remember that time machine you brought back from the past? The one Cell used?''

``Yea.''

``I repaired it.''

She handed him the capsule. ``But, I think you should rest fir....''

He rushed and through it. Quickly and jumped in.

``Trunks! Are you crazy!?''

``Sorry, Mom,'' he said. ``But you do crazy things for the people you love. I love you!!''

He punched in the exact coordinates to Addy's world. He memorized it word for word. He couldn't afford to forget it and took off.

The two androids looked apon the city.

``Odd,'' 17 said. ``This isn't like I remembered it.''

``Who cares,'' 18 said. ``There's enough humans her to last us another good 20 years.''

``Right, let's get started.''

``Wait!''

``Uh?''

18 smiled. ``I want to go shopping before we get rid of all the good stores.

Chapter 1 Addy

``Gee this place sure is bigger than the Alexandria Mall,'' Claire said.

``Told you,'' Laura replied. ``This is the biggest mall in the state of Louisiana. The mall of Louisiana.''

``And we get to come to it everyday,'' I said.

``Okay, so I don't go to LSU, so sue me,'' Claire grumbled.

Laura and I laughed. Jason bounced in his stroller.

``Ga lee,'' Laura said. ``Everyday that kid grow ups to be more like his father. How long has it been anyway, Addy?''

``One year,'' I sighed.

``Hey, don't worry he'll come back,'' Laura said.

``Yea, after all the way he's att....aba ababa!!''

She had stopped and stared at something.

``Um, Claire?'' I questioned. ``What are you staring at?''

``I-I saw J-J-Juunanagou.''

Laura put her hands on hips. ``Yea, right.''

``I-I'm serious.''

``I didn't see no android.''

``Hey just because Trunks came from that world doesn't me Juunanagou can't.''

``Yea, but Trunks had a time machine,'' Laura pointed out. ``17 doesn't.''

YYYYAAAAAWWWWNNNN!!

``Well, while you two go through that nit-wit argument , I'm bringing him home to bed.''

``Awww, okay, by Jason.''

``Bu nanna.''

``I'll see you later at the dorm,'' Laura said.

``Okay, by you guys.''

I unlocked my door and went inside. Jason curled up asleep on my chest. I went and put him in his cradle.

He had black hair. Must've gotten it from Trunks's father. And his eyes were hazel like my Dad's. Oh, and he had his face. That same sweet face.

I coaxed my fingers through his hair, like my mother did to me when I was young. It was cut like I lost some him too. That familiar butt cut look.

I smiled. ``Don't worry,'' I said. ``You'll one day meet and see how great a man your Daddy is. Until then, I'm here for you.''

I turned the TV on low.

``A mysterious vehicle has been found right out the city limits of Baton Rouge. It is egged shape and has the word ``Hope'' written on it.''

``What?'' I questioned. I looked at the TV. ``Is that's Trunks's machine?''

It sure was. It was his!! But, something wasn't right. She knew that he wouldn't just leave his machine out in the open like that.

What if Claire really did see Juunanagou? What if he and his sister somehow stole Trunks's time machine. And they were here, right now. Ready to destroy.

``Wait, another update.''

``Uh?''

``A second machine has been found near the same spot. A strange mysterious young man was found almost have dead with it.''

``Hmm?''

``Excuse me sir, can you please tell us who you are?''

``Uh? Wha..what?''

``Trunks?!''

``The androids! Where are they!''

``Sir? Are you okay?''

Trunks looked at the reporter.

``Tell me, where is she, where's Addy?!''

``W-Who!''

``They're here! Damnit, I'm too late! I have to find them. No. Addy, have to find Addy first.''

``S-Sir.''

With no warning Trunks took to the sky.

``D-Did he just fly?!''

I clicked the TV off.

``He's back,'' I said. ``But the androids are here too. Damn. There has to be away that I can tell Trunks where I am. But...''

I looked down at my sleeping son. ``...I just can't leave my baby here.''

I ran to the window and looked out side, hoping I would see him. There!!!

``Trunks!'' I yelled. ``Trunks!!''

But no responds. He couldn't hear me. ``Damn.''

I heard Jason cry from inside.

I ran to him.

``Shh, shhh.''

He could feel something something wasn't right. I knew it. ``It's okay. It's okay. Trunks, you just better hurry your ass up!''

Chapter 2 Trunks

I ran into the mall. Addy always liked malls. I ran through all the people frantically. Was she even here. Damnit!''

``Trunks!''

``Addy?''

``Trunks, your back.''

``Laura!'' I grabbed her shoulders. ``Is Addy with you!!??''

``Um, no,'' she said. ``She's back at the dorm. Jesus, Trunks! Look at you! You're a mess. What happened.''

``The androids, stole my other machine. But there's no time to explain. I need to find her. Where the dorms?''

``They're not far from here. About one mile. 5th floor room 1129.''

``Thanks, Laura,'' I said.

I took off running out of there.

I took to the sky. I found relief when I saw the dorm buildings. I landed and ran inside.

I ran to the fifth floor.

``1129, 1129, 1129....there.''

At first I was going to open it right away. But then I decided not to. I knocked instead.

The door swung open with no hesitation.

``Trunks! Oh, my gawd!''

She wrapped her arms around me and sobbed.

``Shh, shh,'' I replied. ``It's okay, it's okay. I'm here.''

``Look at you! You're bleeding everywhere! And your hair! Look how long!''

``I-I'll be okay,'' I said. But my head was spinning. ``But I think I need to sit down.''

She guided me to the couch.

``Trunks? Are, are they really here?''

``Yea,'' I replied. ``It's my fault too! I was too week to stop them from taking the machine!''

``Don't blame yourself,'' she snorted. ``You're crazy to come here like that in your kind of condition!''

I lowered my head. ``I-I'm sorry. I couldn't bear with that knowing the fact those monsters where here and you were here, helpless, with no one to protect you.''

I leaned my forehead against her's.

``When'd you move anyway?''

``When ever I started college here?''

``Alone?''

``Nah, Laura, and a couple of my buds are roommates,'' she replied. ``And of course there's.....''

``Ma!''

``Uh?''

I looked down at the floor. There was a baby. Around a year or so old. He had black hair and hazel eyes. He held out his little arms to Addy. She picked him up and set him in her lap.

``Ma,'' he giggled.

``Addy?'' I questioned. ``Is..is he, yours?''

She gave a small smile. ``No,'' she replied.

I gave a sigh of a relief.

``He's ours.''

``O-Ours?''

``Remember when you wanted to know what was bothering when you left?''

``H-He was it?''

she nodded.

``Why didn't you say anything? If you did I would've never left...''

``That's exactly why,'' she said. ``Your world would've been ton apart. It was best you didn't know.''

``I see,'' I replied. I looked at my son. ``What's is name?''

``Jason.''

I leaned over to get a better look. ``Gosh, he looks just like me in the face.''

``Yea, I know,'' she replied.

``Hey, Jason,'' I said. ``It's me, your Dad.''

He blinked twice. Then he started giggling and took a hold of my hair and started pulling it. (Gee....where have we seen that before?)

``Hey, cut it out,'' I laughed.

``Da!''

He held out his arms to me.

``Uh?''

``Trunks, he wants you to hold him.''

``Ack! But what if I drop him?!''

``You're sitting on a couch, Trunks.''

``Oh yea, sorry.''

She set the boy in my lap. ``Gosh, he's so..small.''

``He's a baby, Trunks,'' she said. ``They're supposed to be small.''

He made little spit bubbles at him.

I laughed. ``Haha, look I can do that too.''

``Trunks, don't.''

I slirped up the bubble.

YYYYAAAAAWWWWNNNNN!

Jason stretched. He cuddled up close to his chest and drifted into sleep.

I smiled.

``I wander,'' Addy said.

``What's that?''

``If you were going to be a good a Dad as I thought you'd be?''

``Well, am I?''

``No, your better.''

I gave a yawn. ``Shot, I can't sleep. Androids.''

She narrowed her eyes. ``Trunks, you're in no condition to track down and fight some androids. You rest. Sleep. The androids will let us know when and where they're at.''

I nodded. ``You're right.''

She stood up. ``I'll keep the TV on in the kitchen. If they show there ugly faces I'll wake you.''

``Oka.....''

My eyes shut. So tired.....
