Chapter Seven: You're doing WHATwith WHOM?
"It's not what you think Krillin," Goku finally spoke after pacing several minutes. Looking over at Krillin on the grass, his expression was far from believing a word the Saiyan said. "Okay…it is what you're thinking."
"Man…how in the hell did you hook up with Bulma?" Krillin said shaking his head. "I've been trying for years…you show up and she just falls into bed with you!"
Goku finally sat down next to Krillin, letting out a relieving sigh. For weeks now he wanted to tell someone, but he knew its consequences. But now it was out, and it felt like a weight was lifted off his shoulders. He picked up a stick that lay nearby and drew circles in the dirt.
"It's been going on for a while now," Goku spoke lightly, never looking over at Krillin. "About two months at least. She was just showing me what I needed to do on my honeymoon and things got carried away, I guess."
"You mean Bulma offered to fuck you so you could know how to fuck Chichi?" Krillin said in a sarcastic tone. Goku glared at him.
"Don't say that word…we made love. And she only did it because I asked her to, Krillin. It's not entirely her fault, you know."
"So why are you two still doing it now?"
"I don't know…it's awfully good, it's like we can't get enough of each other."
"Goku," Krillin spoke sternly like a parent to a child. "You're getting married in three weeks. You've go to end this…now."
"Maybe." Goku said stretching his legs out. There was a long pause before Krillin spoke.
"What do you mean, 'maybe'? Maybe you'll end it or maybe you'll get married?"
Goku looked at his friend, and for once he came to terms with everything that had transgressed over the last couple of weeks. His answer was one of complete honesty.
"I really don't know what I want anymore."

Bulma searched franticly through her closet, looking for that negligee she said she would never wear. She squealed with delight when she found it… a red see-thru gown with bikini string panties to match. She remembered when Yamcha brought it for her a year ago, and to his disappointment she refused to wear it. But for Goku, that was another story.
Yamcha…Bulma thought as she closed her closet door. She hadn't seen him for weeks now. Every time he tried to contact her, she made up excuses or picked a fight with him to make him stay away. She really didn't miss him. Her feelings were beginning to change for him, and she didn't feel so sad like she had been before. But then again, she felt a little disappointed in herself. She wanted to be true to Yamcha, but what difference would that make? No matter what she did or how hard she tried, Yamcha would never stop running around on her. And it was that fact that kept her running to Goku's arms. Goku's tenderness and affection had her on cloud nine, and she couldn't have asked for a better lover. On some nights as Goku made love to her, she would silently curse Yamcha for making her go to another man to fulfill her needs. But at the same time, she was gracious that she had the opportunity to be with someone like Goku; it gave her the chance to experience the best sex she ever imagined.
Bulma brushed her thoughts aside as she pulled out her overnight bag. She was almost finished packing it so she could head over to Goku's when the phone rang.
"Hello?" Bulma said sexily, knowing it was her secret lover.
"Hello back at ya babe," Yamcha said, impressed she sounded this good on the other end.
Bulma frowned into the phone. "Oh…it's you. What do you want?"
"Well hello to you too dammit," Yamcha grumbled unhappily.
"I'm sorry Yamcha…I've had a lot on my mind today, and you caught me off guard. How are you?"
"Fine…and you?" He warily asked.
Bulma twirled the phone cord with her pinky nervously. "I'm okay."
"Listen…I know I haven't been around or called, I just felt like you needed some space."
"And I do," Bulma said with certainty. There was a long pause. "Thank you for giving me this time."
"But there's something I've got to say to you, and I need to say it before I lose my nerve."
Bulma sat down slowly on the edge of her bed, feeling a sense of dread in her belly. She gripped the phone tightly.
"Okay…I'm listening." Bulma said with anticipation in her voice.
"I know you're mad with me…but this time I can't figure out what I've done to make you not talk to me for so long. I know I have done you wrong in the past, and you took me back knowing I would do it again. I feel terrible about that. I just miss you so much babe, and I want to make it up to you. I want to be the boyfriend you've always wanted, I want you to give me another chance to do things right."
"How many times have I heard that crock," Bulma scoffed. "I've given you too many chances-"
"Are you seeing someone else?" Yamcha interrupted. Bulma's eyes widened with horror, and she gulped loudly. She was glad he couldn't see her reddening face on the other end.
"What would make you think that?" Bulma snapped with irritation in her voice.
"Gee…I don't know…I guess because you haven't called me, and your Mom says you stay out all night sometimes. I can understand if you are, I mean I wasn't the faithful boyfriend anyways."
"No, you weren't."
"So does this mean you are seeing someone?" Yamcha asked again. Another long pause.
"Yamcha…"
"Before you say anything else, I want to say this. Bulma…it took me all these weeks apart for me to realize something very important. I realize that I love you so much…and I'm willing to do anything to make it right again. Babe you are my everything…I can't breathe without you. And I'd be a fool to lose you."
Bulma could already feel her lip tremble as he spoke the words she had always wanted to hear, moving her soul and spirit. She felt her eyes well up with tears as she began to cry. Finally, after all these years, Yamcha's heart came spilling out to her, his last attempts to save a nearly ruined relationship.
"Why are you doing this now?" Bulma said between her soft sobs. "What are you telling me Yamcha?"
"I want us to try again…and I promise, I'll work hard to gain your trust again."
What should I say…Bulma's mind screamed. She felt so confused now. She thought she didn't miss him, or even love him anymore. But her feelings for him were suddenly rekindled with the speck of hope that Yamcha was now giving her. Could they make it again? She could hear him breathing hard on the other end, and he sniffed. Could it be? Yamcha, crying over her?
"A-are you okay, Yamcha?" Bulma whispered.
"Babe please," Yamcha choked out, unable to hold back his tears anymore. "I want you back. Just say you'll have me…I can't breathe…can't breathe…"
Bulma bit her lip, her mind whirling as she opened her mouth to give him her answer…

"What the hell do you mean you don't know what you want?" Krillin asked incredulously. "Do you have any idea that you're playing with people's lives here?"
"I knew you wouldn't understand," Goku fumed, jumping up and beginning to walk away. Krillin caught up with him as he briskly stormed way.
"Make me understand, buddy." Krillin pleaded. "I don't mean to sound so critical, but I just don't want to see neither one of these ladies hurt."
Goku stopped in his tracks, looking up in the sky. "You know her eyes are about that color," Goku said like he was in the middle of a daydream. Krillin raised a curious eyebrow.
"What are you talking about, the sky?"
"Yeah…Bulma's eyes are that color…the loveliest shade of blue I've ever seen. And she smells so good, and she's so soft all over…"
"All women are like that, Goku. Bulma is nothing special."
Goku shot a contemptuous look at Krillin. "Don't you talk about her like that! She is too a very special person to me…I lost my virginity to her. So take it back!"
"Sorry man," Krillin said waving his hands apologetically. He could sense the anger rising in Goku, and he didn't want to find out what happened if he went too far. "I can tell you're rather sensitive about this… but I've got to know, what do you plan on doing with Chichi and Bulma?"
"I wish I could have them both," Goku spoke quietly, folding his arms at this chest. "But I know I can't. Chichi is the sweet, domestic woman, who cooks for me and knits me sweaters…and Bulma, she gives me everything I ever wanted in bed, there are no inhibitions…" He looked at Krillin, smiling sadly. "You're right, I have to make a decision. I just didn't think I'd get this deep into this…"
"Well the important thing is that you now know," Krillin said patting his friend on the shoulder. "And you don't have to worry…I won't say a word to anyone about this."
"Thanks, Krillin. And I'm sorry I was so shitty before."
"Don't worry about it, Goku. And whatever decision you make, I'll stand behind you. But you must make a choice."
Goku shrugged, knowing Krillin was right once again. He became so caught up with seeing Bulma he forgot about the reason why it happened in the first place. He remembered what Bulma asked him that morning… What are we doing? All his emotions and feelings ran so deep for Bulma, and he knew he didn't exactly love Chichi. But he was betrothed to her and he had an obligation to her and the Ox King family. Too much was invested into the two families now for him to jump up and call everything off. And the thought of Chichi finding out made Goku's stomach turn sour. The shame, humiliation, and distrust she would feel for him… it was truly unforgivable. And she didn't deserve that. Goku sighed deeply, letting his arms fall to his sides.
"Yes," Goku said with newfound determination. "I will make a choice, right now."
