"I love you", Goku whispered into Chichi's ear. "I will always love you."

Chichi sighed and rolled her shoulders in a circle to get the kinks out. "Man. Cleaning the house gets to me more than it used to." She sat down in a soft,
plushie chair and put her head back and closed her eyes. "I really should make dinner."

She got up and headed to the kitchen and put on two boxes of rice and began to cook some fish that Gohan had caught for her. As soon as she had that
cooking nicely, she began to set the table for three. The she froze. Goku wasn't here anymore. She only needed to set the table for two.

Tears started to form in Chichi's eyes. She wouldn't cry anymore. Goku wouldn't want her to cry. He hated it when she cried.

"Don't cry Chi! I hate it when you cry! I didn't mean to! Honest!"

Chichi smiled faintly. He was such a child. Thats why she loved him. She squared her shoulders and flipped the fish and stired the rice. She's be as strong as
him. Stronger. For Gohan. For Goku.

"Ow! That hurt! Chi, please stop hitting me with frying pan! Please!", Goku cried and he covered his head with his arms. "I won't forget again. I
promise!"

He always promised.

Chichi spooned most of the rice onto Gohans plate and took only a little for herself. "Gohan! Dinner!" As Gohan ran inside, she put a nice sized chunk of
fish onto Gohan plate. "Eat up. Then you bathe. You stink to the high heavens!"

Gohn only grunted an answer and he stuffed his face full of food. "Manners Gohan. Manners." He only slowed down a little. That brought a smile to her
face. Goku always ate like she starved him.

"Goku slow down! You'll choke!" Goku only look up at Chichi and smile quickly, before devoring his food agian. She sighed dramatically.
"Sometimes I wonder if you love me."

Goku looked up with a horrified look upon his face and swallows quickly. "Of course I love you! I'm sorry. I'll eat slower. I promise!"

Of course he hadn't. Be she hadn't really minded. That's what had made him Goku. She always loved to tease him.

After Gohan had bathed and she had sent him to bed, she sat up in her lonely bed looking at the ceiling. "I wish you were here Goku. I miss you."

"I'll come back to you Chichi! I promise!"

He hadn't. And he won't. He didn't want to. Then Chichi burst into tears. "Why did you leave me!? Why!? I want you back." As she cried, she felt a
coldness wash over her. Like someone's sorrow was surrounding her. Then warmth engulfed her. Like a hug. This is the way it felt when Goku hugged her. "I love
you.", She murmured. A gust of wind entered the room which was odd since she had the window closed.

I love you.

Chichi smiled as she fell asleep.

King Kai struggled against Goku's hold. "This isn't right! You hugging me and saying 'I love you.'!"

Goku let go quickly and rubbed his hand at the back of his head. (A/N: Goku trademark!) "Sorry."
