Disclaimer: I don't own DBZ or this would be an episode, not a fic!!

*In this fic is a little romance between Raditz and a charictor I made up named Rieva (pronounced 'reeva'). (Back when he, Nappa, and Vegeta worked for Frieza) Warning: this has a sad ending....*

PS. The stuff that happens on earth, really happened on DBZ... it's part of the story though.

Chapter 1

Raditz looked slowly across the pitch black room one last time before disappearing into the hall. Everything was dark and shadowed, as it was midnight, and everyone including Frieza was sleeping, at least he thought so. He crept as quickly and quietly as he could down the long coradors of the space ship.

He opened a small door, entering yet another hall, wich led the way to the entrance of the space ship. He was by now running, eager to reach the hall's end, stopping quickly as he did and entering a code into a key-pad on the wall ,openeing the gaint door and exiting Fieza's space ship completely.

He took a deep breath of the fresh crisp air, freezing in fear as he senced the presance of another near him. He turned his head to the right, seeing just a pair of gleaming yellow eyes in the darkness.

He sighed in reliefe as he heard a familiar female voice, "what's got youso uptight?"

"Getting out of that hell hole without getting caught...."

She grinned, tail swaying back and forth as Raditz approached her. They walked along the moonlight grass, and she looked up at him, "why are you so afraid of Frieza finding out about me?" He frowned, "he'd kill you, I know it! He thinks me, Vegeta, and Nappa are the only sayjins left, and i'm more than sertan he wants to keep it that way."

She nodded, she knew just how much of a phyco-pathic creep Frieza was. they walked until they couldn't even see Frieza's ship anymore and entered a small patch of forest. He sat, back against a tree. Rieva sat at his side, head on his shoulder, and a blissful look in her eyes.

"you know, there has gotto be more sayjins somewhere.... you, me, Vegeta, and Nappa can't be the only ones left, there was a whole planet of us!"

Raditz was trying his hardest to resist gazing upon the full moon, "I wish that were true Rieva... but... there's no way! Who would have had the foresight to leave before that happened?"

"Your father transported your brother to some planet before it happened, remember? He did it because when Frieza first showed up, he knew something bad was gunna happen!"

Raditz sighed, "who knows, you just might be right." She snuggled closer to him in the cold, both of their breath freezing in the air, "we'll find out some day!" He nodded and smiled, pulling a purple flower from the ground, placing it above her ear, so it stuck out from her short black hair, and put his arm tightly around her.

She leaned forward slowly and kissed him. his tail wagged happily from side to side, and his eyes lighting up before he closed them. She weaved her fingers in his hair and wrapped her tail around his tail, shivering slightly. Raditz drew her closer with his arm, an icy breeze blowing past them.

She pulled away slowly and rested her head softly against his shoulder again, yawning slightly. He grinned, "you look tired!" She nodded and he rested his head against the tree, hearing the eary silence for only minutes longer before the two of them fell asleep.

He woke with a startle, looking back and forth and the sunlight forest, "shit!" he growled, knowing he shouldn't have fallen asleep. Rieva looked up at him, raising one eyebrow.

"Rieva! I'm sorry, but I have to go now!!"

She nodded and jumped up quickly, as he did, "tomarrow?" She nodded again, and they looked at each other one last time before taking off into different directions. Raditz dashed into the ship, darting down the long halls to the room that he, Vegeta, and Nappa shared.

He walked in panting, seeing Vegeta, Nappa, and Zarbon, (Frieza's bodygaurd). Zarbon looked at him, "where the hell have you been sayjin?" Raditz took a second to catch his breath, then replied, "uh, I was, um...."

"Forget it," Zarbon said and cleared his throat, "look, Frieza told me to tell you guys that he had a little mission for you...."

"Oh goody" Vegeta said sarcastically and rolled his eyes. Zarbon gave him an angry look and whent on, "he wants you three to destroy a planet south of here called 'Earth' , and he wants you to leave tomarrow." Nappa flipped Zarbom off behind his back as he left the room, Vegeta snickering.

"I've heard of 'Earth', " Nappa said, "I've heard everyone on it is discustingly weak.... this'll be easy!" Vegeta shrugged, "I really don't give a shit what Frieza wants." Nappa nodded and grinned, looking to Raditz, "where wereyou?"

"Out."

Nappa frowned, "out where?" Raditz stepped forward, "look, I'm gunna let you guys in on a little secret... but you can't tell anyone, got it!" Vegeta and Nappa came closer nodding. Raditz looked at both of them, "we actually aren't the only sayjins left, there are two more that I know of."

"What?! Where??"

"Well, there's my brother, and I haven't a clue where he is..."

"You have a brother?" Nappa asked in suprise. Raditz nodded, "and there's a girl sayjin, on this planet right now! Her name is Rieva." The two looked shocked, Raditz smiling, "Rieva's my girlfriend!" Vegeta looked to Nappa, "maybe there are more than that! Somewhere in the universe!"

Raditz nodded, "maybe..." With that, Raditz disappeared into the halls again, the oppisit direction from which he had come, toward another large room which contained three sayjin space-ships, Vegeta's, Nappa's, and his own.

He had spent the last few days working on his ship, souping it up to go faster. The three traveled alot, blowing up planets and such for Frieza, and he hated it. It was way too boring. He opened it, climbing inside, and removing a panel from the top on the inside.

Vegeta was sitting on the floor, plotting what he'd do when he got back from earth. 'I have to get the hell away from here!' he thought, he knew that would put him at risk of getting killed, but he didn't care, he couldn't take this anymore.

He was sick of catering to Frieza's every wish. But he was going to wait till he got back, blowing things up happened to be his favorite passtime... he loved to hear people's last cries of mercy before he destroyed them. He wasn't going to tell Nappa and Raditz however.... they werehis friends, but three is a crowd and his best chance was to run off alone.

As the hours passed, the sky seemed to dim a little, night started to approach early due to winter, and the cloudy sky made it hard to see a sun set. Raditz tiredly entered their room around eight, the sky already dark, Nappa laying on his bed and looking up at the ceiling, Vegeta sleeping, still sitting on the floor with his back against the wall. Raditz flobbed onto his bed tiredly, trying to get as much sleep as he could before mid night.

He woke quickly to the buzzing of an alarm-clock next to his bed, smacking it off before anyone else woke up. Again, just as he had the night before, he crept through the long dark halls, exiting the ship. He soared up into the air, gliding toward a gaint cliff beyond the forest.

He landed on top of it quickly, and sitting by the river, was Rieva. he kind of avoided looking into her in the eyes as she stood, just took her into his embrace, shaking nervously. She looked up smiling, "what's wrong? You cold?" He shook his head and sighed heavily, hugging her tighter, "I, I.... want you to marry me."

Her eyes widened immeadiantly in shock, unsure what to say. He was silent for a few seconds, now shivering harder than before. She threw her arms around his neck tightly, "of course I will Raditz!" He smiled wide kissing her and looking up to the moon, wich was no longer full.

"I love you with all my heart Rieva, but I have to go, I needto get some sleep! Tomarrow, the three of us have to do something for Frieza... But when I get back..."

She nodded, "I love you so much Raditz, i'll see you then!" He kissed her one last time and pulled away, winking to her as he disappeared into the sky. The flew as quickly as he could, entering the ship and closing the giant door. He crept to his room, laying down, and quickly falling to sleep.

The three woke much to early for his liking, climbing into thier small sayjin space-ships and taking off. His ship was faster than both of the other's combined, due to his tampering with it. The ride was still long and boring, but when he did reach earth, he did in nearly half the time that it would take both Vegeta and Nappa.

Radits stepped out of his ship as he opened the door, stretching and looking around. This place was much like the planet Frieza's ship was on, but it was warm here. He looked about, feeling strongly the power of another person. It's was increadibly strong, and something told him it was his brother. He followed it to a small island. Goku, Bulma, Master Roshi, and Krillen all jumped back at the sight of him.

He looked to Goku quickly, this power, it washis brother! Raditz looked Goku in the eyes, "I'm going to destroy this planet! And your going to help me, because that's what we do brother, we're sayjins!!" Goku's expression became angry, "no way!" he growled.

"Fine!" He said and hit Gohu hard, causing him to fall to the ground. Raditz grabbed Gohan by his shirt, taking off. Raditz landed by his ship, throwing the yelling gohan in and locking it shut. He jumped down from the cliff to see Goku and Piccolo approach.

Raditz smiled, "I was just here to enjoy the view, why are youidiots here?"

"You know why! Give me my son dack right now!"

"Ha ha, and what if I don't feel like it? huh?"

"You may be stronger than me, but that doesn't matter! I have to save Gohan!"

"Let me let you guys in on a little secret, even if you do defeat me... there are two more powerful sayjins on thier way!"

"That's just great!" Goku said angrily. Goku lunged at him, socking him in the stomach, then quickly blasted him with a ki blast. Raditz whipped around quickly, "what the-?!?" Goku laughed, "ha! looks like i've got your tail!" Raditz fell onto all fours, "please, spare me brother!" he whispered. "You wouldn't want to hurt your own brother, would you?"

"No Raditz! I'm nothing like you! Your not my brother!!" He yelled, though he knew he wasRaditz's brother.

"Brother, I beg of you! I promise i'll leave this planet immediantly!" Piccolo yelled angrily, "don't listen Goku! He's only telling lies!"

"PLEASE brother" Raditz pleaded, Goku slowly letting go of Raditz's tail. "NO!!" Piccolo yelled as Raditz jumped up, elbowing Goku in the chest. He stepped hard on Goku's chest, "I cant believeyou fell for that trick! But now your all mine!"

He looked to the direction of his ship as the scouter caught a strong power level, his ship exploding and Gohan flying out. Gohan landed a few feet away from them, "Let dad go!!!!" Gohan flew quickly toward them, slamming into Raditz's chest. Raditz's gasped for breath, Goku jumping up and grabbing under Raditz's arms, so he couldn't turn around or escape.

"What the- CURSE THAT KID!"

"NOW!" Goku yelled. Piccolo smiled "yes, now he's all mine!" Piccolo held his pointer and middle finger to his temple, then pointed them to Raditz, "SPECIAL....BEAM.....CANNON!!!" A powerful blast came fron his fingers and shot straight through both Goku and Raditz.

"Y, y, you....g, got m, me!" Raditz stuttered as he fell to the ground dead.`
