Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ Revival ❯ Thirteen ( Chapter 13 )

Ki radiated off of her in waves, yellow lightning dancing around her. Every cell in her body was consumed with power, the rush enough to make her senses soar higher than she could have ever anticipated. Everything seemed minuscule except for the intense furnace of her rage. The fuel stoking that smoldering furnace was her passionate displeasure of Vegeta, Brolli and Radditz. They had treated her no better than a common trollop and that was not something she could just let them get away with. It was bad enough she went back on a sworn promise to ChiChi and Bulma. Kaali turned to face Celipa, who was currently unconscious and looking worse for the wear. With a scowl, she picked the older female up by the back of her armor and started toward the kitchen.

Vegeta looked up when his glass of orange juice was knocked over by a thud of something heavy on the table. His onyx eyes narrowed when he saw the condition of Celipa and Kaali's newfound ascension. He glanced over at Toma and Bardock and the older males were literally pulsing with anger and were engulfed in yellow-white ki. Their hair stood on end and turned yellow and their tails curled in suppressed rage. Their eyes turned green and Bardock punched Kaali square across the jaw, sending her through the large bay window at her back. Bardock went out the window after her and grabbed her by the front of her training suit. Blow after blow rained down upon the young Saiya-jin and other than bleeding in a few places, she was fine.

Toma glanced down at Celipa one last time before he joined his former commander. He slipped his arms under Kaali's armpits and held her as Bardock drove his fists into her abdomen until she was coughing up evidence from last night as well as blood. Bluish white ki ebbed from Bardock's left fist and he punched Kaali in the stomach one last time, sending the female airborne before rolling several times and finally stopping ten feet away from the pair.

Blood pooled next to her chin and Kaali smirked in triumph. Anything that had been created last night had been terminated. Or at least she hoped it had been destroyed. Was it even possible to destroy something that small and insignificant? Kaali pushed herself up, staying on her hands and knees for several minutes. As soon as she was on her feet, the two came at her again only something materialized in front of her. Something tall and wide with lime green hair. Kaali peeked out from behind the massive Legendary and saw Bardock and Toma slowly back down.

"What are you doing? Get out of my way! I was just about to go on the offensive!" she growled, blood bubbled between her clenched teeth. Her tail flailed out of control, hitting Brolli repeatedly.

He chuckled, a deep, rumbling sound that made her heart pound faster. "You no longer have the advantage. You are weak."

Kaali frowned when he called her weak. It was true that she wasn't as strong as any of the elder Saiya-jins but she could hold her own against Kale, Trunks, and Goten. Celipa, Piccolo and Radditz were harder unless she went Super Saiya-jin and until now, she would have been able to wipe the floor with Bardock, Toma and possibly Gohan. So in a sense, she was weak. What was the best way to get stronger without months of grueling training? Attacking the three Saiya-jins in front of her. Kaali shifted so one of her hands were hidden from view and she began to gather ki.

Bardock and Toma were still upset and with Brolli in their way, they couldn't touch Kaali. The scarred Saiya-jin snarled and his tail lashed. "She hurt Celipa for no reason! You're going to let her get away with it?"

"No but beating her into submission isn't going to fix things either. You don't even know if she hurt Celipa on purpose."

"He's right, Bardock. We don't know if she hurt Li on purpose. It could have simply been a reaction to making the jump to the next level. Let's go back and ask…" Before he could finish, a huge beam of black ki shot past him before coming back around, a dragon's open fang-filled maw coming straight at them. It roared and Toma braced himself when several pounds of demolished landscape pelted him.

S.W.H- Oooooh! Kinda short. Next chapter should be interesting. I think I've captured the essence of a Saiya-jin in this chapter by showing how truly multi-dimensional they can be.
