Revolution of the Saiyans
Chapter Four
Vegeta found very few answers, but a plethora of additional questions during his time in the mountains. Unfortunate for the hills around him, his temper flared, which meant there were several piles of rubble previously identified as trees and mountains.
However, the Saiyan was unconcerned for such things. Although he would reluctantly admit that this planet had grown on him, he repeatedly told himself it was nothing more. The only reason he chose to stay was because of his family. Even the term family was a mystery to him. Yes, he had a mate that shared his bed, children, and home. But he craved so much more. Vegeta had spent a large amount of his early years, before Frieza, being groomed to lead a nation of warriors, Saiyans preparing to conquer the universe. Then, it all changed.
He was lied to and used as a pawn in Frieza's own plan for superiority. Vegeta had still been a young man when he finally broke free from the tyrant's control. It had cost him his life, but with the use of the Dragonballs, he had been revived. Then, he hit a tailspin. Where did he go? What purpose did he have?
After spending time all these years on Earth, Vegeta still had no idea what tomorrow would bring him. As much as he trained, he found no peace in his life. No peace at all.
Arriving at Capsule Corporation, he went in the same window that he had exited earlier. It must be the middle of the night as Bulma was in bed and sound asleep. Stripping of his dusty clothing, he crawled into bed next to the blue haired beauty, and found an uncontrollable desire to kiss her lips. Bulma's eyes slowly opened. She knew his touch all too well and was not alarmed to find he had suddenly reappeared and now craved the only kind of affection that he would allow himself. No words were necessary between them as their mouths slowly danced in a passionate kiss. It amazed Bulma how gently Vegeta actually had been, and still was, during these times. All the anger and aggression that he showed to the world slipped away as her hands found the small of his back and began to gently massage his tightened muscles.
Vegeta wrapped her short blue hair around his fingers holding her mouth as firmly next to his as possible. For a few hours, Vegeta lost himself in the love and passion he felt for his mate…his unofficial wife. But as dawn came, so did his troubles. The Prince had not slept; neither had he found any lasting peace.

As the same dawn rose over the mountains just North of Capsule Corporation, Vegeta's two children, Trunks and Bra continued a search with their best friends, Marron and Goten. After taking a few hours for sleep, the prospect of finding the Dragonballs and making their wish was too exciting. With the Dragon radar in hand, they continued the search.
"At this rate, we'll have all seven by tonight!" Bra said. "And I just can't wait to see the look on everyone's face when we make our wish!"
Marron and Goten were just as enthusiastic as Bra, but somehow Trunks was lacking in the same excitement.
"I just hope we are not creating a bad situation by wishing for more power." Trunks said. "I mean, shouldn't the power we have be acquired through hard work and determination?"
Bra rolled her eyes at her older brother. "Pleeeezzzzeee!" She said. "You might be closer to father's level than I am, but you're still so far away you can barely share the chamber with her for an hour!"
Her comment made Trunks angry. "At least I can make it one hour! You're the pathetic one! I swear, Yamcha could whip your sorry ass!"
Bra did not like to be insulted and took Trunks words as a challenge. "Fine. You wanna fight me now? Right here?" She stopped in the air, hovering in a fight position. "You think you're so tough! Well, you're not! Otherwise, you wouldn't be so anxious to summon the Dragon and wish for more power!"
Trunks looked squarely at his little sister's face, frowning at the thoughts of her suddenly having more power. With her attitude, it might cause trouble. "I think it was a bad idea." Trunks declared. "Summoning the Dragon may give us more physical power, but it won't give us the brains in which to use it." He glared at Bra. "Especially someone with as poor a fighting record as you, little sister."
His condescending tone was the last straw. Bra charged at her brother, fists drawn. Trunks was a little taken aback at the seriousness of her attempts, but had no problem in dodging her punches. Easily, he grabbed her arms and pinned them behind her. "Stop it before you get hurt!" He shouted in her ear.
"Both of you stop it!" Marron yelled back. "Goten, do something!" She yelled at the boy standing next to her.
He looked at her and shook his head. "This is between them. We have no right to interfere." Goten tried to be serious.
"You are just a coward!" Marron shouted. "Trunks would wipe the ground with your face and you know it!"
Goten ignored her angry words and continued to watch Trunks and Bra. The girl was struggling in her brother's grip, but he continued to try and calm her down. "You are just like father!" Trunks yelled. "You need to control that temper of yours before it gets you in trouble!"
Finally, he let Bra go and she tumbled a few feet downward before catching herself. Using her ki, she pushed back up and locked eyes once again with Trunks. "You'll be sorry." She said, obviously seething with fury. "One day, I'll kick your ass so bad, you'll be begging me for mercy!"
"There is no power struggle as far as I'm concerned." Trunks tried to explain. "Father has been training me for years, naturally I am stronger. If he would agree to train you as such, I'm sure your power would increase."
"Don't try and make nice now!" Bra shouted, her frown strikingly like her father's. "As far as I'm concerned, Marron and I can continue on for the Dragonballs. You and Goten are out of this plan as of now."
Quicker than anyone could see, Trunks grabbed the radar from Marron's hand. "Not likely." Trunks said. "If you find the Dragonballs, it will be through old fashioned hard work." He crushed the small blue radar in his hand, sending dozens of pieces falling toward Earth.
"You idiot!" Marron screamed. "What did you do that for?"
"This was a bad plan." Goten said, agreeing with Trunks. "If anyone found out what we had done, it would cause a lot of problems."
Marron was so mad; her big blue eyes were filling with tears. "You can say that easily. Fighting comes naturally to you two. But not for me. I'm not a Saiyan! I'm a human, struggling to make a difference on this planet! And I'm tired of being the one who can't fight!"
Trunks frowned again at the petite blond. "With fighting and power comes responsibility." He told her. "I'm not sure either of you are mature enough for that….and if you want to train, I'll help you. But not like this."
Marron rose up her small hand and slapped Trunks as hard as she could across the face. It probably stung her hand more than his powerful jaw, but it made her feel good.
Trunks looked at her, stunned. He didn't say a word, but turned around and flew back toward home.
"You two need to chill." Goten said. "Acting as if you're not worthy, just cause your power levels aren't as high is stupid." He had a serious expression, looking from Bra and then back to Marron. "Let's go home."
"No." Bra said quickly. "Like Trunks said, if we want it bad enough, we'll search for them the old fashioned way."
Goten shook his head. "That could take months….a year…..you're crazy if you think I'm letting you wander around the planet alone."
"You've got no say so in the matter." Bra said coldly.
Goten's response was just as cold. "I'm sure your father would." He dared to threaten her.
Bra was furious. "Fine." She said. "We'll take the three Dragonballs we have and go home. But, know this……it's not over."
"Not by a long shot." Marron finished.

"Two planets down, and two to go." The young Domia said. He sat at the controls, plotting the swiftest coarse to their third planet.
The first two had been drastic disappointments, with power level readings so low, the Saiyans onboard the ship wondered if it were mice or men on those planets.
"I've heard things about Earth." General Kelon told his men as they prepared for the next scouter ship to go out.
"So have I." Perrin replied. He was another of somewhat young age, but from a very power Saiyan heritage. His father had fought along side Domia's father with the King before Vegeseti was destroyed. "Several of the recon slave ships had relayed tales of powerful warriors."
Niekko frowned. He was the oldest of the group, hardened and ruthless, about seven feet tall with an enormous build. "What kind of powers? Are you suggesting the Saiyans might be on Earth?" He asked, somewhat disbelieving the existence of the rouge Saiyans.
"It is said that a fighter with extraordinary powers defeated Frieza. Perhaps a Saiyan." Perrin told him. "And that fighter was supposed to be from the planet Earth."
"How could someone with enough power to defeat Frieza hide from our King? For so long?" This was Arello speaking. He was also older, having survived the destruction of the original planet. "I believe King Drais has received incorrect information. Even a Saiyan….strong enough to kill Frieza….impossible."
"Yet, Frieza is dead." General Kelon pointed out. "So, there is someone out there with the power to eliminate what our entire race of warriors could not.
"We are stronger now!" Niekko said angrily. "No one like Frieza would be able to enslave our people at this point!"
"Calm down big guy." Perrin said, eyeing the enormous fighter.
"What is important now is that we find the Saiyans the King feels are a threat." General Kelon said. "Once that is done, we can and will establish our new Saiyan race as an unstoppable force!"
"Sir." Domia said, pointing to the overhead radar. "Earth is about two hours away."
"Good." Kelon said. "Niekko…Arello. Prepare a scouter ship and let's see what this planet might be hiding."
