Chapter 3
Frieza decided to stay the night here, the tall soldier showing them to their rooms. Hours were shorter here, and the sky was dark faster. Vegeta starred out the window for nearly an hour. The chalk white half moon was high, and the sky was black with a red tint, just like home.
Raditz stood in the doorway as Vegeta pulled off his shirt and jumped slightly, “oh, Raditz, I didn't see you there…” Raditz walked toward Vegeta, “why are you so high strung prince? You seem to startle easy.” Vegeta shrugged, “It's just how I am.” Raditz kissed Vegeta and smiled, “I love who you are.”
Vegeta's arms slid around Raditz's waist, “you're a loyal friend Raditz, that's what I like about you.” Raditz had a gleam in his eyes, “prince, your majesty, I want you, badly.”
Vegeta was unsure at first what Raditz was trying to say, his eyes widening as he caught on. Vegeta turned his face away, “no Raditz, not here, not now.”
“Please, I love you so.”
Vegeta's breathing quickened, he knew deep down inside he wanted it as well, but still he refused, “not here.” Raditz put both arms around Vegeta's neck, “why mi-lord? No one will know.” Vegeta heart throbbed quickly, he was seriously turned on by the thought, but stood his ground, “I, I can't, I won't.”
Raditz held close his mate, his tail tugging gently at Vegeta's belt, “please.” Vegeta could faintly smell blood in Raditz's breath, turning his back to Raditz. Raditz again put his arms around Vegeta's neck from behind, Vegeta putting his tail around Raditz, but kept his arms crossed.
Raditz put his tail around Vegeta, the way Vegeta had done to him, whispering into Vegeta's ear, “Your majesty, may I ask you a question?”
Vegeta nodded. Raditz sighed heavily, knowing Vegeta would be really pissed-off by this question, “my love… are you, afraid?”
Raditz flinched like Vegeta was going to whip around and beat the hell out of him, but instead, Vegeta calmly nodded, and looked Raditz in the eyes, “don't ever bring up my fear again. It's for me to worry about and no one else.”
Raditz pulled away, Vegeta facing him. Raditz said sheepishly, “forgive me my prince. I didn't know, or else I-” Vegeta put his middle and pointer against Raditz's mouth to silence him, and kissed him lightly at first, then French kissed him.
Raditz `s tail stuck straight out behind him, Vegeta slamming him against the wall, and continuing to viciously kiss him, hands on both sides of his head. Raditz lifted one leg at Vegeta's side, curving it around him. Raditz then quickly curved his arms under Vegeta's, gripping his shoulders tightly.
Raditz nipped Vegeta's chin, Vegeta licking the side of Raditz's face, and nipping on Raditz's collarbone. He kind of rolled back his eyes happily and moved his hands to Vegeta's head.
What was actually only a few hours felt like days, the two of them looking up at each other. Vegeta's eyes didn't look quite so mysterious and distant; he could see a fleeting bit of happiness beyond the flame that was Vegeta's merciless soul.
Vegeta could fell Raditz's beating heart against his chest, tail swaying back and forth. He was unsure what made him feel this way, what made him care at all about this sayjin that seemed to love his so. Maybe in him somewhere he truly did consider Nappa and Raditz his friends, they were like his siblings, so loyal and kind to him, and he knew he was attracted to Raditz if he really thought about it.
Raditz gently brushed his tail against the side of Vegeta's face, Vegeta pulling away slowly, maintaining his grin, as did Raditz. Vegeta yawned and looked at his bed with heavy eyes, Raditz realizing this and stepping toward Vegeta, “you're tired, you should go to sleep mi-lord.”
“What about you?”
“I'm not tired, I'm thinking about looking around.” Vegeta nodded, and the two hugged one another one last time before Vegeta turned off the lights and climbed into bed. Raditz wandered the long halls, watching the slaves work though it was late at night. Only a few lights remained on in the entire giant first floor, Raditz making his way toward the ships that were inside.
Someone grabbed his arm, “where do you think your going?” Raditz whipped around to face Zarbon, angrily saying “let go of me you bastard!” Zarbon released him and smiled, “well, your awful cocky tonight!”
Raditz turned his back to Zarbon and kept on walking, Zarbon darting in front of Raditz and putting out his arms, “your not thinking of stealing a ship, are you?” Raditz wasn't, but thought he'd mess with Zarbon a little, “and what if I am? What will you do about it?”
Zarbon angrily crossed his arms; “I'll have Frieza down here so fast you won't know what hit you!” Raditz put his face inches from Zarbon's and growled through his teeth, “is that so? So, you need Frieza to fight all your battles? You can't stop me yourself you pansy?”
Zarbon didn't know what to say, so he just punched Raditz in the mouth, “don't mock me!” Raditz tackled Zarbon to the ground and started punching him. All the slaves and soldiers who remained awake stopping to watch.
Zarbon punched Raditz in the solar plexus, knocking the wind right out of him. Raditz kicked Zarbon in the shin and elbowed him in the side of the face. There was by now a large group of people circled around the two, watching them brawl over a useless matter.
The both of them were on the ground, Raditz biting onto Zarbon's neck and Zarbon punching Raditz in the stomach, freezing when they heard a familiar voice,
“What the hell is going on here?”
Raditz let go, Zarbon falling to his knees before Frieza, “w, we were fighting sir.”
“Over what?”
Zarbon looked at Raditz, then back to Frieza, “nothing worth fighting over.” Frieza looked at Raditz and grinned at the fact that Raditz looked a bit more mangled than Zarbon, “both of you, go to sleep, NOW!” Raditz and Zarbon glared once at each other before dashing off toward their rooms.
Vegeta still found himself laying awake, thinking of home, and how much he hated Frieza. He thought of his father, (who of which he didn't know was actually dead), thinking his father must want him to come home as much as he wanted to go home. `When I ever do get home' he thought, `I'll let Nappa continue to be my bodyguard, just like before we left. And Raditz, he can have his own wing of the castle like me and Nappa, no more being a commoner!'
His father looked a lot like him, but had a mustache and wore a medallion around his neck. Vegeta never knew his mother, or any of Nappa's relatives, Nappa just kind of showed up at the castle one day. However, he met Raditz in a forest near Frieza's fortress on their planet. Frieza's men were beating Raditz for no reason, and so he rescued him.
Turns out that Raditz was son of Bardock, a friend of Vegeta's father. Raditz had told him that he had a brother by the name of `Kakarot' that Bardock had sent to another planet as an infant, so Raditz never really knew him for more than a day or two.
Vegeta rolled on his side, his mind begging for a rest. He had to somehow clear his mind. He stopped thinking all together, catching up on some much-needed rest.
