It was a stormy day, and Pan was sitting alone on her bed, working on a research paper for one of her collage courses that she was taking. Pan, now 19 years old, had finally grown into a mature, young woman. No longer was she a little tomboy, running around in baggy boyish clothes with the chain hanging down from the side of her pocket. Her shiny, ebony black hair had grown longer, falling just past her shoulder blades, her bangs fluffing up just above her golden auburn colored eyes, with dark red highlights that streaked through her hair, which gave it a very nice touch. She wore a dark purple tank top, which hugged her curved body, along with a pair of dark blue flare jeans to go along with it. Yes, it was a definite fact; Son Pan had finally grown up.
"This is so boring," she said to herself glumly, letting out a sigh, shutting her textbooks and putting her papers aside. She sat up looking out the window, watching lightning flash across the dark, stormy sky. She glanced at her clock; it was only 3:00 in the afternoon. The day was still young.
"I'm not going to waste my whole day away, working on a paper that's not even due for another week!" Pan walked towards the door of her dorm room, slipped on a pair of sneakers, and threw on her black windbreaker. She walked out into the hallway, locked the door behind her, and walked out of the building and towards her car in the parking lot, driving away from the collage campus.

"I miss my little Pan-chan," sighed Videl, looking out the window of her living room, sitting on the couch next to her husband. Gohan looked up from his book, chuckling a bit.
"She's not our little girl anymore, Videl. Our daughter is a grown woman."
"I know that, Gohan, but she'll always be my little girl," Videl told her husband. She continued staring out the window with her pale blue eyes, yearning for her daughter, who she loved and missed so much.
The couple had changed a bit since Pan, Trunks, and Goku had returned from their search for the Black Star Dragonballs a little over 5 years ago. Gohan's hair jet back hair was slicked back, and had gotten a bit gray at his sideburns, but that didn't make any difference. Videl's hair was about the same color as her husband's, having a little gray at the side of her temples herself, but none the less still looking great for her age. The two of them had done so much together in their lives. They had raised a daughter, who now was out on her own, and lived through so much, still awaiting new surprises in their lives that would change the both of them forever.
Gohan looked at his wife lovingly, placing his book down on the coffee table, and moving closer to her, taking Videl into his arms, placing a sweet kiss on her lips. He smiled at her.
"Don't worry. We'll see her soon enough. The summer break is coming up anyway.
Videl smiled warmly at Gohan. "You're right. I shouldn't be so emotional all the time…"
Gohan kissed his wife once again, laughing lightly. "That's why I love you so much."
Suddenly the doorbell rang. The couple looked up towards it; a minute later Videl got up to answer it. She opened the door, and was met by a tall figure with raven black hair, and the same familiar eyes as her husband. Behind him was a woman with short blonde hair with the same icy blue eyes as a certain android she knew.
"Goten! Marron! Oh what a nice surprise! Come in, come in!" Videl greeted them both as they walked in from the rain, shaking out their umbrella before entering the clean house.
"Goten! How are you?" Gohan greeted his young brother as he gave him a warm hug. "Marron, you're looking wonderful! How's the baby coming along?" Gohan asked as he hugged the pregnant blonde and gave her a friendly kiss on the cheek.
"We're both doing great, and the baby is coming along fine," answered Marron, patting her stomach. Goten smiled and kissed his darling wife.
"Please, sit down and make yourself comfortable. I'll go get us all some coffee," said Videl as she walked off into the kitchen. Gohan looked over to his brother and sister-in-law smiling, happy to see the two of them.
"I haven't seen you two since we heard Marron was first pregnant. How many months have passed by since then? Five?"
"Four, actually," corrected Marron, leaning her head against Goten, who held his arm around her. Just then Videl came in with a tray of coffee and a dish of cookies. She set it down on the coffee table, then sat down next to Gohan, serving the coffee to her guests and husband, then poured herself a cup.
"It's so nice to finally talk to you two again. We really did miss your company," she said, taking a sip from her cup.
They two couples chatted for a while, enjoying one another's company, until about an hour passed by, when Goten and Marron were starting to leave. Just as they headed out the door the phone rang. Gohan picked it up.
"Hello? Oh, hi Bulma! How are you? Oh? Goten and Marron? Yes, they're here. Would you like to speak to them? Oh...oh I see. Oh, really? That sounds great! Yes, yes, I'll be sure to tell them! Okay, see you then! Bye!" He hung up the phone.
"What did Bulma call for, dear?" asked Videl, Goten and Marron still standing at the doorway, hearing themselves being mentioned in the phone conversation.
"Bulma just invited all of us to a party tomorrow! She says she knows its short notice, but they've been sort of busy with the corporation and all. She says if you guys can make it, give her a call back when you get home."
"Really? Oh that sounds like fun! I haven't been to a party since I got pregnant!" Marron turned to Goten cheerfully. "We can go, right? I mean we have no plans or anything, right?"
Goten smiled nervously. "Uh, well, no I don't think we have any plans, but, uh...don't you think you should take it...well, kinda easy? With the baby and all?" He laughed nervously, but then stopped as soon as he saw the serious expression on Marron's face.
"Goten, for the last time, I'm fine! I know you are just being careful about the baby and all, and that's why I'm not getting really angry at you, but we're going to that party..."
"But Marron! Sweetheart..."
Suddenly Marron's face became quite red...
"GOTEN!!! REMEMBER HOW BITCHY I GET WHEN I PMS??? WELL THIS IS WORSE!!! WE'RE GOING TO THAT PARTY AND THAT'S FINAL!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND???!!!"
At this point...Gohan, Videl, and Goten had sweatdrops appearing on the back of their heads...
"Y…y...yes dear..." answered Goten, quivering a bit at his wife's fury. It was true, Marron wasn't a Saiyan, but with her mother and father's blood running through her veins, her power level was quite high, and when she got angry, STAND BACK!!! No questioning, especially with her pregnant...
Marron, returning to normal voice level and face color, coughed and became all happy again. "Great! Well then, I guess we'd better be going!" She smiled happily, taking Goten's arm and walking out the door. "We'll see the two of you tomorrow then, okay? Bye bye!"
"Good-bye!" said Gohan and Videl in unison, closing the door behind the two. As soon as the door was closed, the two of them couldn't help but look at eachother and give a little chuckle.
"Poor dear...I know how she feels..." giggled Videl.
"You mean how HE feels...God, I remember what it was like when YOU got pregnant..."
Videl glared at Gohan.
"Uhh...and it was some of the most happiest days of our years! Wasn't it? I mean it was so exciting, you having the baby soon, and I was all cheery...and..." Just then Gohan was interrupted by Videl's lips meeting his. They pulled away after a moment or two. Gohan smiled, Videl giggling.
"That was a good way to get you to shut up. If I didn't, you would've gotten yourself into a lot of trouble..."
Just then the doorbell rang again. Gohan answered it this time.
"Did you guys forget something..." he started just before he saw who was at the door. His eyes lit up as he soon saw who it was. It was Pan.
"PAN!!!" he cried as he took his daughter into her arms. She laughed as her father picked her up and swung her around outside in the rain.
"DAD!!! Dad, dad, calm down!" She giggled. It had been about a month since she had seen him or her mother. Soon Videl rushed outside to join the two of them. Videl embraced her daughter lovingly, then brought the two of them inside.
"Oh my God, just look how you've grown! Oh, I've missed you so much!" Videl exclaimed happily as she hugged her daughter once again.
"I've missed you too mom! You too dad!"
"What brings you here?" asked Gohan.
"Oh, I meant to call you guys, but um, I guess I just really wanted to get out of the dorms for a while. I have the whole weekend, you know? So I just figured, hey, why not? I'd go and see you two!!" Pan hugged both Gohan and Videl again. "I've missed you guys so much!"
"We missed you too, sweetheart," replied Gohan. "Here, I'll help you get your stuff out of the car..." Pan and Gohan walked back out into the rain to her car, arm in arm around eachother...
