Chapter 12
As I lay in a painless darkness and Turles went off to the woods to train away his longing, several sets of eager eyes had watched the ordeal a world away.
An evil chuckle sounded throughout the group gathered around Babidi's crystal ball. “Excellent.” King Kold hissed in his creepy, cold, feminine voice.
“The other saiyans have left to train as well leaving her unattended now is the time for Yamu and Spopovitch to act.” Frieza hissed nodding to the two lacheys.
“Saiyans are such fools to leave a vulnerable woman alone.” Zarbon chuckled in his uppity manner.
“They've always been stupid monkeys. There was never any question there.” Frieza interjected.
Cell chuckled. “And now we get to use it to our advantage. Go ahead Babidi.”
Babidi waved a hand and the small portal he had created between HFIL and Earth opened. He turned to his bald minions. “Now, just go and get the girl and bring her back here. Got it?” The two nodded and jumped through the portal.
“I don't know boss, why are we sending them to do this job?” Jeice asked.
“Because they're ki signatures are low enough that the saiyans won't even notice them. If I sent one of you, Vegeta would recognize it in a second.” Frieza answered staring incredulously at the red alien.
“Right.” He mumbled in response looking away nervously.
Yamu and Spopovitch fell to the ground just outside the Barracks. After Bardock had gone off to train, Radditz and Nappa had followed him, they thought I would be say locked up in the barracks, but none of them remembered the open window….
Yamu and Spopovitch not being very bright, it took them a while to find a way into the fortress that was the Barracks, but when they finally found the open window it was not difficult to enter and I was right there, unconscious and unprotected. I was quickly tied and carried back to the portal to HFIL by the two deceased dummies.
The villains were pleased with themselves, step one of their plan to escape the after life was a success. All they needed now was for me to wake up….
Turles was training like mad in the clearing of the woods where we had taken the girls that day that seemed so long ago, long before there were any problems between them. He pounded the ground letting out a fierce roar as clumps of Earth shot up around him. Just as quickly as his frustration had broke out it dissipated. His dark eyes softened as he stared at the destruction he had caused in the clearing.
`First her, now this, why must I destroy everything?' He asked himself.
`Because its all you know.' He answered himself.
He sat down hard on the ground and stared at his hands, once again contemplating the situation he had got himself into and he came to the realization that he had never had to think this much in his whole life.
Hours later back in HFIL I was beginning to come to with the regaining of my consciousness also came the pain. I hissed and slowly opened my eyes. Everything was blurry at first and when the world started to return to focus I still didn't recognize my surroundings. My confusion allowed me a temporary distraction from the pain and then I saw the faces of the villains I knew all too well from years of watching all the DBZ sagas over and over again.
I growled at the greasy faces of the Kolds, Cell, and the Ginyu force. “You!”
They looked at me confused for a moment before I continued my rant. “Where am I? What are you slimy ass wipes up too?” I struggled against my bindings and roared in rage and pain.
Frieza chuckled darkly. “You my dear monkey are the trump card that is going to get us out of HFIL….permanently.”
I growled. “How, prey tell, are you going to do that?” I tried to hide the fact that I was obviously weakened by my condition, putting up a brave interrogating front.
Zarbon raised his eyebrow as if to say, `She knows what prey tell means?' And Cell answered.
“We are not fools, we know that you are vulnerable and that there is a certain male saiyan who wishes no harm to come to his potential mate.”
My frown deepened. I knew they knew I was in heat, but I doubted they knew just how wrong they were about Turles's feelings for me although in my state of mind I would never say that because I wanted so badly for Cell's words to be true.
I struggled a little more as they laughed at my obvious weakness. My tail was trapped beneath the ropes that bound me and then another sharp pain assaulted my body courtesy of my heat. I cursed under my breath and closed my eyes curling into a fetal position as best I could to try and escape the pain, the guilt of being captured, and their villainous laughter.
It was shortly there after on Earth that Vegeta, Gohan, and Videl arrived at the Barracks to find no one there. They looked everywhere and finally went out searching ki signals as they began to worry about Holly's state of being. They found Nappa and Radditz training not to far from where Turles was in the clearing.
Vegeta growled when he saw his two soldiers obviously oblivious. “Where is Holly?! And where is Turles?!” He demanded of them.
Radditz turned his full attention to the Prince and his face became serious. “Your highness, Holly is unconscious back at the Barracks, I stopped Turles at the last second and he rendered her unconscious and came out here. He was beating the shit out of the forest for a while and now he just sits staring at nothing. We tried to speak with him, but he refuses to speak with us. We are monitoring him presently we are worried about his state of mind. We have never seen him in such a state.”
When Radditz finished Vegeta growled. “What do you mean you left Holly at the Barracks? We just looked she's not there!”
Videl looked worriedly at Gohan. “Where could she have gone?”
Suddenly Turles appeared from the brush. “What did you say?” He asked a somber glint still present in his eyes.
Gohan looked at the older saiyan seriously. “Holly, she's missing.”
Turles eyes seemed to spark as if the coal color had ignited at Gohan's words. “What?” He growled in disbelief.
Suddenly Vegeta tensed and all the saiyans slowly followed suit. “Do you sense that?” Nappa asked his shock apparent.
“I sense it, but I don't believe it.” Vegeta muttered.
“All of them? It can't be!” Gohan gasped.
Videl suddenly realized what they were all tensed up about she started to sense an overpoweringly evil aura, scratch that several dark evil auras.
A few minutes later the other saiyans and miscellaneous Z fighters began to appear. They didn't need to ask each other to see that the others recognized the powers as well.
“What is that?” Goten asked. He and Trunks were at a loss for what all the high power levels that had just appeared meant.
“Those are the power levels of practically every villain we've ever defeated.” Radditz replied unemotionally.
“How can this be? They're all dead!” Gohan insisted in disbelief.
“I know Gohan it shouldn't be possible, but they're here and we have to stop them. Together they could do more damage then ever imaginable.” Goku replied.
Before any more could be said Turles sensed an all too familiar yet weakened ki in the same direction as the large mass of dark ki. “Gods, no!” He whispered and headed off in a flash towards my ki. The others were not confused by his actions for long as they too recognized the ki signature to be one of their own. They flew to a desert cliff where a pitch black vortex floated above them.
Beneath the slow swirling vortex that seemed to be closing stood all the enemies the Z fighters never wanted to see again. Radditz caught up to Turles and forced him to land at least a thousand yards away from the amassing dark power source. Turles worst nightmare was fulfilled as across from him he saw Holly bound in the clutches of Cooler.
They were faced with a grinning force of Frieza, Cell, Cooler, Dr. Gero, Babidi, Junior and all their minions, all of them smug because they outnumbered and had a trump card over their opponents.
“Shit.” The word fell from Krillin's lips stating the utterly obvious facts. They had barely won against each of these foes on a singular level all of them together was a nightmare none of them had ever dreamt.
Frieza, Cell, and Babidi were all chuckling in their own creepy ways. Cooler held me in the air by a rope wrapped tightly around her arms and torso. My head lolled to the side as I was still fighting to stay conscious. My pain was still very much there, but my logical mind had kicked in somewhat because of my precarious situation although I was still in my weakened state of heat. I tried to lift my head and through glazed eyes I saw the man I had come to love and want staring at me with an evident look of disbelief. Anger and fear ran through his eyes briefly before he set his jaw and growled at my captors. Until I caught his eye and the fear returned. I used all my strength to kick out and I lifted my head up to try and shout, but it only came out as a strangled cry.
“Turles!”
Turles growled. Radditz still held him by the arm to restrain him. It was obvious that Turles was on the verge of doing something rash. And he was….
He violently swatted Radditz arm away and shouted. “Let her GO!” He stepped forward but Vegeta side stepped in front of him and sent him a cold side ways glare letting him know he had to cool it.
Frieza chuckled again. “Why should we? This little trinket will get us anything we want.”
Zarbon stepped forward and grabbed my chin turning my head to the side so the others could see my profile, I was too weak to stop him.
“And as you gentlemen can see, she's in no condition to go anywhere.” Cooler pulled me in closer and ran his finger down my tail causing me to shiver and moan involuntarily.
All the saiyans growled at this they knew how sensitive tails were and that using mine against me when I was in heat was more than just sick and wrong, an area they all excelled in.
Cooler's laugh was even darker then Frieza's. “Its seems like she doesn't want to go anywhere.”
Turles roared his displeasure and was ready to lunge forward and rip Cooler to shreds when Cooler places his claws at my neck. I gasped and Turles froze.
“One move saiyan and your precious mate dies.” Babidi spat in his annoying high pitched voice.
Frieza chuckled. “And wouldn't it be a shame to kill the final female saiyan?”
Vegeta growled his lip curling back and a fang showing. “What do you want, Frieza?”
It was the question every one of them was afraid to ask and afraid they knew the answer too.
“Well now we're getting somewhere.” Cell spoke. “We want you all dead and the universe at our beck and call for all time, is that too much to ask?” Cell grinned his slimy making your skin crawl grin.
The blood of the younger Z fighters, namely Goten and Trunks ran cold, they had not faced any of these villains accept Babidi. They were skilled fighters, but not hardened warriors like their fathers' generation.
“And if we refuse?” Goku asked his face becoming set and serious for one of those rare times of battle.
“Isn't it obvious, Goku? She dies.” Dr. Gero said matter o fact ally.
Turles's eyes widened a fraction he was quickly coming to realize that a life without Holly in it would not be one he wanted to live in.
Gero's words knocked me back into reality and I squirmed against my bonds and shouted. “NO! Don't do it! Don't let them win! Don't worry about me!” I struggled some more until the rope around me tightened as Cooler pulled. I gasped feeling my lungs being constricted.
“No! Holly!” Turles shouted.
“As you can see your highness, we are serious.” Cooler taunted.
