Epilogue

“And so the brave warrior realized his folly and with the help of his friends the King and Queen, he journeyed to the land of his beloved. When he found her he begged her forgiveness, confessing his undying love to her. And she, being a forgiving soul who loved the warrior more than anything else in the world, forgave him. And then and there he asked her to be his mate.”

“And she said YES?!” 8 year old Emerald shouted excited from her spot at her mother's feet. Her tail twitched excitedly as she leaned up in absolute rapture at how her mother's story was turning out her namesake green eyes sparkling.

Her mother laughed. “Yes, of course, she said yes. And so they rode off back to his home to start their wonderful life together.”

“Was it full of adventure?” Emerald asked enthusiastically.

“Were they happy?” Emerald's twin Meylei asked with hopeful blue eyes. The two little heads of blonde hair bobbed excitedly on either side of their mother's cushioned chair on the wrap around porch of their large house.

Their mother laughed and smiled clutching two smaller girls on her knees around her distended belly. “Always adventurous and always happy.” She answered bouncing the smaller of the two girls on her knee. The little black haired tot laughed and clapped happily. Her counterpart looked up with big shy grey eyes and a similar head of ebony black hair bobbing back to say. “I'm glad it turned out good in the end, I was a scared the bad guys would win there for a while.” Her mother gave a small hug and smiled reassuringly.

“Don't worry darling, Mia, the bad guys never win completely.”

“Besides Mia, Mommy and Daddy will always protect us from the bad guys.” Meylei assured her little sister.

Suddenly coming from the steps of the porch could be heard the booming voice of a male. “Of course, I'll protect you, why ever would you think differently?” All heads turned a chorus of “Daddy!” could be heard as small feet rushed across the deck to greet the tall muscular man who was followed by two more young girls; one with dark green almost black looking long hair the other with medium dirty blonde locks.

The man mussed the hair of all his leg cling ons and with a grin Meylei answered. “Mommy was just telling us the story of the Great Warrior who didn't believe in love.” The tall, tan, muscular, man chuckled warmly. “Ah, my favorite.”

“How was training?” His wife asked as she carefully raised her pregnant self from the chair.

“Its not fair mommy! Takara relies too much on her weapons!” The medium blonde haired six year old whined.

Her mother laughed. “Everyone has their own strengths, Veronica. Takara's just happens to be weaponry, I'm sure you'll be very powerful someday.”

“See, didn't I tell you that's what your mother would say?” The father answered. Veronica pouted but nodded and Takara watched the whole interchange passively; her calm and maturity far surpassing that of her mere seven years.

“Now then, everybody into the house and I'll make us some lunch.” The father said enthusiastically. At the promise of food the pack of saiyan children ran with a shout of joy into the house accepting two. Takara and Mia stayed; Takara standing by her father and Mia still clutching his hand. They waited patiently until he knelt down tousling their hair. “You two run along with your sisters to set the table. I want to have a few minutes alone with mommy ok?”

They nodded and ran quickly into the house.

The proud parents watched them go and the father reached for his woman and pulled her into a tender loving kiss. “How are you today my love?” He asked holding her in a careful embrace so as not to put pressure on her stomach.

She pecked his lips again and smiled her medium blonde hair wisping around her neck with the small breeze. “I am quite well, and baby too.” She said putting a hand lovingly to her stomach.

Her husband put a callused hand over it and smiled. He held her for a few moments and asked. “Why do you always tell them that story? I swear you've been telling it to them since before they could understand you.”

She chuckled. “It's our story, Turles. Don't you want them to know that love can conquer anything? Even stubborn prideful saiyan warriors?”

Turles sighed and ran a hand through his vertical, radical hair. “I suppose. This is my punishment for all my sins, being shamed for past discretions by having them told to my children.”

She laughed again and held him closer. “You know it. No, it only glorifies you more. Besides you're daddy, you can do no wrong.”

He laughed and kissed her forehead. “This is true. Holly, you are truly amazing.”

“And don't you forget it mister. I have birthed six of your children, forgiveness comes a little harder with each one.”

He laughed again and felt her tail wrap around his middle as they turned to head into the house. “So how was training?”

“Good, Takara is relying on weapons less and Veronica is relying on her mouth more.”

“That might be my fault.” Holly said.

“Oh I know its your fault.” They laughed and the door swung closed behind them as they went into their home to be with their growing family.

The End…..

Note: The daughters in the epilogue are chibized versions of other OCs I have written. Something about each of their personalities was mirrored minutely here. If you wish to know more about their stories, review and I will tell you if that character's fic is up or if I will consider retyping the ones that are as of yet not uploaded.
