Chapter 2: Club Baka!

Chi-Chi sighed to herself as she sat on the bus. She tried as hard as she could to ignore the looks people were giving her.

*I wish they wouldn't stare* she said to herself as she looked through the corner of her eye. Beside her sat an elderly woman who was eying Chi-Chi with a disgusted look on her face. Chi-Chi narrowed her eyes as she just looked at the lady.

*What the hell is she looking at?* Chi-Chi wondered as the lady continued to stare at her. Frustrated, Chi-Chi turned towards the lady and looked at her.

"Excuse me, but do you need something?" she asked the woman. The woman turned her head quickly and held onto her purse a little tighter. Sighing again, Chi-Chi reached behind her and pressed the stop button. Standing up, she waited for the bus to stop. Finally coming to a stop, the doors opened and Chi-Chi climbed off.

"Home sweet home" she said as she looked at the brick building in front of her. As the bus pulled off, Chi-Chi headed inside. She walked towards the mailbox and checked it.

"Nothing today" she said as she closed it. She continued on until she stood in front of the staircase.

"We need to get an elevator" she said as she started up the long 7 flights of stairs. Dragging herself up the final 2 steps, Chi-Chi bent over and tried to catch her breath. With one last inhale and exhale, she proceeded towards her apartment. Before she could place the key in however, her next door neighbor opened her door and came out.

"Morning Chi-Chi, still working?" she asked as she rolled her eyes.

*Here she goes* Chi-Chi said to herself as she forced a smile on her face.

"You know, you really shouldn't be doing stuff like that. I mean what does your boyfriend say about it?" she asked.

"Not that it's any of your business but I do not have a boyfriend and I don't need one" Chi-Chi said as she placed her key in the door.

"I'm not surprised, I mean what man would want you knowing what you do for a living. Well, I guess I'll see you later then" the lady said as she closed her apartment door and headed down the stairs. Chi-Chi watched her leave and rolled her eyes.

"Bitch" she said low to herself as she opened the door and went inside.

"Hi Aunt Chi-Chi!" a small voice said. Chi-Chi smiled as she looked at Marron sitting on the couch hugging her Winnie the Pooh stuff animal.

"Hi Marron, where's mommy?" Chi-Chi asked as she walked over and picked her up.

"She's right here. How was your night?" 18 asked as she came out of her room.

"Well after I was rushed out by my last customer, I took the bus here only to have some woman stare at me the entire trip. Then before I could come in here that lady next door just had to butt her nose in my business and comment about my life" Chi-Chi said as she sat down and placed Marron on her lap.

"Chi, you know that lady is nothing but a bitch who loves to get into other peoples business" 18 said as she went into the kitchen.

"Yeah, but why does she have to be in my business? I mean I know I don't have a boyfriend. I don't need her to tell me" Chi-Chi said as she placed Marron on the floor. Marron slowly made her way over to 18 and held onto her leg.

"Yeah well you'll find the right man soon enough" 18 said as she bent down and picked Marron up. Placing the 3 year old in her highchair, 18 went back to fixing something to eat.

" Please 18, what man would want me after they find out what I do for a living? Anyway, I better get ready for school. I really want to go straight to bed but I know I can't" Chi-Chi said as she stood up and stretched.

"You'll find someone, don't worry about it! Now go get ready for school" 18 said. Slowly Chi-Chi went straight into the bathroom and got a shower started. Jumping in, she just let the water hit her body as she ran her fingers through her long auburn hair.

"I'll find someone? Yeah right! No man would ever look at me if they knew what I do to go to school. What has happened to me?" Chi-Chi asked herself as she picked up her rag and started to wash up. After a few minutes she cut the water off and grabbed a towel. Wrapping herself up, she scurried off into her room and closed the door.

"What to wear?" she asked herself as she looked in her small closet. Reaching in, she pulled out a pair of blue jeans and a white shirt that had the words Baby Girl written in the front in blue letters. Dropping her towel, Chi-Chi proceeded to get dressed. Sitting on her bed, Chi-Chi put her socks on followed by her white and blue sneakers.

"Chi-Chi, breakfast!" 18 yelled from the kitchen. Grabbing her scrunchie, she put her hair in a high ponytail before leaving the room. Sitting in her high chair, Marron playfully clapped her hands as she looked at Chi-Chi.

"Well at least Marron thinks I look nice" Chi-Chi said as she sat down.

"You do, now eat" 18 said as she placed a plate in front of Chi-Chi. Chi-Chi looked down at the scrambled eggs, sausages and toast in front of her.

"Thanks" she said as she picked up her fork and started to eat. 18 placed a small bowl in front of Marron with a spoon and a small cup of juice. Finally 18 sat down in front of her plate and started to eat.

"Chi, what time are you coming home?" 18 asked as she took a sip of her orange juice.

"I'm trying to be back here by 12. I only have 3 classes this morning and I have to take a test in all 3. I think we can leave after we finish" Chi-Chi said as she looked at 18.

"Oh because I was wondering if you would watch Marron until I come home from working" 18 asked.

"Sure, when are you leaving?" Chi-Chi asked as she placed the sausage in her mouth and took a bite.

"I was going to leave at 2 but since you'll be home by 12 then I'll leave at 12:30" 18 said.

"I don't mind watching Marron. I'll give her some lunch, she goes to sleep and so do I" Chi-Chi said with a smile on her face. 18 smiled back as she turned and looked at Marron. Marron had eggs all over her face as she used her hands to eat instead of the spoon. Chi-Chi just laughed as 18 got up and got a paper towel and wiped Marron's face.

"So how many are you going to see today?" Chi-Chi asked.

"Just 3" 18 said as she finished wiping Marron's mouth and now cleaned her hands.

"3? What's wrong? You usually have 4 or more" Chi-Chi said as she finished eating.

"Well I have plans for you and me tonight so I have to get back here and get ready" 18 said as she sat down.

"What plans?" Chi-Chi asked.

"What would you say if I told you we were going to the hottest club in town?" 18 asked.

"You mean club baka? That's where Bulma works" Chi-Chi said as she looked at 18.

"Well you and I are going there tonight" 18 said with a smile on her face.

"But 18, I was planning on working tonight. I still have to pay for my books plus my teachers have us buying more books" Chi-Chi said.

"You can still work tonight. We go to the club and you can find someone who wants to have some fun. That place has got to be filled with guys who would be willing to pay for a good time" 18 said.

"I don't know" Chi-Chi said as she picked her fork up and started to swing it back and forth.

"Oh c'mon, we go have some fun at the club and outside the club if you know what I mean" 18 said as she winked at Chi-Chi. Sighing, Chi-Chi looked at her watch.

"I better get going or I'll be late. I'll see you at 12" Chi-Chi said as she stood up.

"Just think about it" 18 said as she watched Chi-Chi grab her coat and book bag. Walking towards Marron, Chi-Chi gave her a kiss on the cheek and went to the front door.

"I will" Chi-Chi said as she opened the door and left on her way to school.

It was 12:45. 18 just left and Marron was asleep in her bed after getting a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch. Sitting in the living room, Chi-Chi just sat back and flipped through the channels. Her mind was not on what she wanted to see but on the conversation she and 18 had earlier that morning.

"Club Baka! Maybe I should go, I mean at least I would be getting out of the house and I might meet some interesting people" Chi-Chi said as she cut the tv off. Tossing the remote to the side, Chi-Chi sighed to herself. Just then the phone started to ring. Reaching over the chair arm, she picked up the phone.

C: Hello?

B: Hey Chi, how's it going? I was hoping I'd catch you

C: Hey Bulma, I'm fine. How `bout you?

B: Just fine! Listen what are you doing tonight?

C: Well me and 18 were thinking about going on over to where you work

B: Great! That's what I called about. I wanted to see if you wanted to come here tonight. Maybe a get a job, you know.

C: Bulma I told you before, I'm not working there. I'm happy doing what I do now

B: You can't possible mean to tell me that you are happy sleeping with men for a few dollars. Chi, you are better then that. If your dad was alive……

C: Well he's not so what's your point?

B: Hey don't bite my head off. Listen, I'll tell our bouncer to let you two in. I wouldn't want you two standing outside all night.

C: Thanks! So I guess I'll see you tonight

B: I guess so. See you then

C: Bye!

B: Bye!

Chi-Chi hung up the phone as a smirk appeared on her face.

"I guess I'm going out tonight" she said as she started to smile.

"Aunt Chi-Chi!" Marron yelled from her room. Quickly Chi-Chi got up and went into Marron's room to find her sitting up in the bed.

"What's wrong?" Chi-Chi asked. She was used to Marron calling her aunt so she went along with it. It sounded kind of adorable to her anyway.

"I'm thirsty" Marron said as she looked at Chi-Chi.

"Oh you are, well lets see what we can find for you" Chi-Chi said as she picked her up and left the room. Heading towards the kitchen, Chi-Chi went to the refrigerator and opened it up.

"How about some milk?" Chi-Chi asked as she looked at Marron. Shaking her head yes, a smile crossed Marron's face.

"Good choice" Chi-Chi said as she took the container of milk out of the refrigerator and closed the door. Placing Marron on the floor, she took out her little sip cup and poured some milk inside. Screwing the top on, Chi-Chi handed the cup to Marron. Sitting on the floor, Marron started to drink the milk. Closing the container, Chi-Chi opened the door and placed the milk inside. Just then she remembered something as she closed the door.

"I wonder who 18 got to mind Marron while we go out?" she said as she bent down and picked Marron up. Walking towards the couch, she sat down and placed Marron beside her. Marron looked at her as she drunk her milk.

"I wonder who your mom got to watch you while we go out" Chi-Chi said as she looked at Marron. Taking the cup out of her mouth, Marron smiled at Chi-Chi. Smiling back, Chi-Chi reached for the remote and cut the t.v back on.

"Here, we'll watch some t.v" she said as she flipped the channels. She stopped once she saw Sponge Bob Square Pants. Marron started to laugh as she dropped her cup and clapped her hands.

"You like him, huh?" Chi-Chi asked as she reached down and picked the cup up. Placing the cup on the table, Chi-Chi sat back. Marron looked at her before moving towards her lap.

"You want to sit here?" Chi-Chi asked as she picked her up and held her on her lap. Marron just smiled as she looked at the t.v along with Chi-Chi.

Around 3:30 18 came into the house slamming the door behind her. Chi-Chi looked at her then down at the sleeping Marron in her arms. Careful not to wake her, Chi-Chi placed Marron on the couch and went over to 18.

"What's up?" she asked noticing the look on 18's face. 18 looked at Marron and noticing she was asleep grabbed Chi-Chi's arm and went into her room. Closing the door behind her, 18 started to yell.

"That son of a bitch!" she yelled as she clenched her fists.

"Who?" Chi-Chi asked.

"My last customer tried to stiff me out of my money because he said I didn't do a good job. I told him to just give me my money or else I`d kick his ass. He got all pissed and had the nerve to go and call the cops so I ran" 18 said as she went to her bed.

"He called the cops on you because you wanted to get paid. What a jerk!" Chi-Chi said.

"I would of stuck around to confront him but I don't need to be going to jail now. Besides I have to think about Marron" 18 said as she looked at Chi-Chi.

"I understand, besides cops wouldn't listen to you anyway. They would just arrest you" Chi-Chi said. 18 sighed as she looked at Chi-Chi.

"So how was Marron?" 18 asked to change the subject.

"Great! Bulma called and said she would tell the clubs bouncer to let us in so we wouldn't have to wait in line tonight" Chi-Chi said.

"Good, I better find something to wear" 18 said as she got up and went to her closet.

"Hey, I was wondering who was going to watch Marron while we go out?" Chi-Chi asked as she sat down on the bed.

"I got the lady downstairs to watch her. Don't worry" 18 said.

"I'm not worried, I just wanted to know" Chi-Chi said. Picking out a short white dress, 18 looked at Chi-Chi.

"Well now you know" 18 said with a semi-attitude. Not wanting to make her more angry, Chi-Chi got off the bed and went to the door.

"We're leaving at 8" 18 said as she went back to the closet to find a pair of shoes.

"Ok!" Chi-Chi said as she left the room. Going into the living room, she cut the t.v off then picked up Marron. Placing her in her bed, Chi-Chi cracked the door then went to her room. Closing the door behind her, Chi-Chi collapsed on her bed and went to sleep.

It was 7:20 when Chi-Chi awoke. Sitting up in her bed, Chi-Chi rubbed her eyes.

"I better get ready!" she said as she ran to the bathroom and jumped in the shower. After a few minutes she was out and in her room trying to find an outfit.

"This will do" she said as she pulled out a gold thin strapped shirt that showed her stomach and a gold mini skirt.

"This along with my gold shoes and my hair down, I will look so hot" she said as she dropped her towel and prepared to get dressed. It was 7:55 when Chi-Chi was finished. Looking herself over, she smiled.

"Looking this good, I should be able to find a real man instead of just another customer" she said. Grabbing her coat, she cut her light off and left the room. Walking into the living room she looked to see 18 watching t.v

"About time" she said as she cut the t.v off.

"Yeah! Yeah! Where's Marron?" Chi-Chi asked as she put her coat on.

"I already took her downstairs" 18 said as she stood up. Chi-Chi giggled as she looked at 18.

"What?" 18 asked.

"You might want to pull that down" she said as she pointed to her dress. 18 looked to see that her dress was riding up and showing her underwear.

"Well it won't stay because it's short" 18 said as she pulled on the bottom of her dress.

"Well let's get going" Chi-Chi said. 18 nodded her head and grabbed her coat. Cutting the lights off, the two left the apartment and headed outside. Hopping in 18's car, the two drove on to the club.

"I hope to get a car one day" Chi-Chi said as they drove on.

"Maybe after you pay off all your loans and books" 18 said. Chi-Chi just smiled as she looked out the window. Soon the two arrived at the club.

"Park over there" Chi-Chi said as she pointed to a spot. 18 parked the car and the two got out.

"Look at that line" 18 said as they walked towards the entrance. Chi-Chi stopped walking as she spotted the bouncer.

"Hey 18 look, the bouncer is kinda……short" Chi-Chi said as she pointed to him. At the door stood a short man with black hair. He had a clipboard in his hand as he stood in front of the door.

"How can he be the bouncer? He's so short!" Chi-Chi said. 18 didn't say a word as she just looked at him.

"Let's just get inside" 18 finally said as she walked towards the entrance followed by Chi-Chi. The man just looked around but stopped as he saw 18 and Chi-Chi coming towards him.

*Who is she?* he asked himself as he looked at 18.

"Hey you, we're on the list so let us in" 18 said snapping him out of his thoughts.

"We'll see, names please." he said as he prepared to check his list.

"Chi-Chi and 18" Chi-Chi said as she looked at him. The man checked his list then looked at the ladies.

"Go right on in and enjoy" he said as he moved out of the way. 18 just smiled as she walked past him followed by Chi-Chi.

"Let the night begin!" Chi-Chi said as she and 18 walked through the doors of the club.

AN2: Next chapter, Chi-Chi looks around for a customer and finds a certain bartender instead. Find out what happens between 18 and the bouncer and if Bulma works here then who exactly owns the club.
