Authors note: Once again, I'm moving the story line. It's the day after the Sayain children get out of Clanning. Since they're team was undefeated they got the latest in the most powerful armor and given a mission right away to clear off a planet. Vegeta was left behind though since his father asked that he stay behind for training. They're going to be in the tournament and the Ginyu Force is entering too. Remember that there is about a 35 year (or more) difference so they're weaker than they are in the Frieza saga. Hope you enjoy this fanfic.
Chapter 13
The tournament
As Gogeta floated in the air, he made sure none of his friends had any trouble. A year almost passed since Takira almost killed him. While he watched, Gogeta was deep in his thoughts. 'Who ever thought that we all would be able to go SSJ?' Gogeta thought. 'Now we really do have a chance against Frieza.' Gogeta then saw that there was an aerial attack of worriers coming and started powering up. When they divided though he knew there was only one way to stop them. "Guys listen there's an aerial attack on their way," Gogeta said to everyone through telepathy. "I want you all to pretend that they're not coming. When they get close enough though destroy them." As soon as they were about to attack, several blasts came from the ground at the worriers making them fall. As they fell, Gogeta finished them off one by one. When they were through all that was left were shambles of the once inhabited buildings. After they got, back together they sat outside while eating their food just incase there were any survivors on the planet.
"So guys are you excited about the tournament?" Cirus asked as he took a big bite of his meal.
"Yea I'm really excited," Gogeta said as he drank some water. "I've been waiting over a year to be in the tournament since I couldn't enter while I was in clanning."
"Me too bro," Vegeto said as he swallowed his food. "All the toughest fighters are going to be there. Of course they aren't as tough as the six of us am I right?"
"You're right Vegeto," Seripa said as she put an arm over his shoulder. "But the reason for that is because of all of us being SSJ's."
"Remember that we're trying to get to the level Gogeta and Vegeto are at Seripa," Carina said. "Trying to get to that level really takes a lot out of you. Takira you're the only one of use that's almost gone the whole way. How can you even stand that?"
"It isn't easy that's all I can say," Takira said. "Remember that I've only gotten close to completing the transformation. It's going to take me a little more training to get there."
"Right now I'm glad about one huge difference in our lives," Vegeto said as he finished. "No more Vegeta to bother and ridicule us."
"Vegeto you know he wasn't all that bad," Gogeta said. "He's just not very social with other people. I'm sure he'll turn around someday and be our friend."
"That's very doubtful," everyone except Gogeta said at the same time.
"I guess I'm the only one that thinks that then," Gogeta said as he tried to hold in his laughter.
"Come on guys," Cirus said. "Lets get back and rest up. The tournaments tomorrow and I want to get as much rest as possible."
* * * * * *
As Gogeta, Vegeto, Takira, Seripa, Cirus, and Carina made it through the crowd, they noticed many pretty strong fighters there. All of them weren't Sayains though. Some were like that catfish guy Gogeta hand humiliated during the first day of hazing. Then there was the Ginyu force. "There are rumors about the Ginyu force being Frieza's personal fighters and if you defeat one you'll be killed by Frieza himself because he'll think you're to strong afterward," a Sayain said as he stretched.
"Maybe being in this tournament isn't such a good idea Gogeta," Takira said after hearing what the Sayain said.
"Don't worry about it," Gogeta said with a relaxed smile on his face. "If we beat them they'll just say that they lost their footing or something. They'll be to embarrassed to even admit they were beaten by use. Besides, they're weak just sense their power levels."
"You're right I guess," Takira said with a smile. "I'm probably a little nervous about being here."
"Don't you worry about it," Vegeto said. "It's not like we'll even fight them. All the matches are at random at the beginning so it's highly doubtful that they'll have to fight one of us."
"Speak for yourself Vegeto," Gogeta said.
"What do you mean bro?" Vegeto asked totally confused.
"You have to fight Galdo first and he's a member of the Ginyu Force," Gogeta said while pointing at the board where all the names were listed.
As Vegeto looked at his competition, he started laughing. "You've got to be kidding me!" Vegeto said as he tried to hold in his laughter. "That four eyed freak's my first victim?"
"Don't under estimate him brother," Gogeta said. "Everyone of the Ginyu force members are known for something different. From what I here one has the ability to freeze time, another had super speed, one of them can take a hell of a lot of hits, another has a powerful attack, and the captain has the highest power level of them all."
"I wonder what that four eyed pig has," Vegeto said thinking out load.
"I'm not a four eyed pig!" Galdo yelled from across the room. "Show some respect little brat!"
"Then why do you look like a round ball with arms, four eyes, and legs!" Vegeto yelled back. Everyone then started laughing.
"Man you think with the power he has Vegeto would have grown up a little," Cirus said as a sweat drop appeared on his fore head.
"I know what you mean," Carina said. "He still acts the same way like when he was 3."
"Attention all competitors!" the announcer said from the middle of the ring. "The tournament is about to begin! In the first round, we have a member from the Ginyu Force Galdo! His challenger is the Vegeto. This is his first year here but from his records, he's known to give a good fight and he is also the brother of the famous Gogeta himself! Will the fighters come to the arena please!"
"I'll see you guys after I win my match," Vegeto said as he ran over to the arena. After Galdo got in the arena, the announcer spoke again.
"Now remember, you lose when you're out of the arena, give up, get knocked out, or when you die. Ready? Now lets get this tournament started!" the announcer said as he shot a ki blast up into the air.
"You're going to be sorry for embarrassing me kid!" Galdo said as the blast exploded. Vegeto just smiled as he dashed forward. When he threw a punch though, he hit nothing but air.
'Where did he go!?' Vegeto thought as he looked. Before Vegeto knew it, he was hit with ki blasts all around him. 'Bro was right! This is one has the ability to freeze time!' Vegeto then threw a blast at Galdo when he saw him. When the blast was about to hit Galdo, he smiled.
"Time Freeze!" Galdo yelled as the blast was about to hit him and he held his breath. When time froze though he had a look of panic on his face. 'How can he be that fast!' Galdo thought as he saw several Vegeto's all of them ready to do blasts. 'His timing's good but not good enough." As Galdo was about to prepare a counter, he realized one thing he forgot. 'I can't hold my breath any longer!' When he let his breath out time started back up again and the blasts restarted as well. When all the blasts hit Galdo, all he could do was to try to defend himself.
"Got him!" Vegeto said as he landed one the ground. "I might have killed him too, oh well." When he saw that Galdo was still moving though Vegeto instantly dashed towards Galdo and grabbed him. 'After that he probably can't fly so if I throw him out I won't have to worry about him freezing time,' Vegeto thought as he threw Galdo. When Galdo realized he was thrown he tried to stop himself but, he didn't have enough strength and fell to the ground.
"The winner of the first round is Vegeto!" the announcer yelled as everyone cheered. Vegeto then stepped down and walked over to Gogeta.
"You were right bro," Vegeto said. "He had the ability to freeze time."
"I told you to be careful," Gogeta said. "You won't believe who's fighting after you."
"I don't care either since I got a lot of damage from that trickster," Vegeto said as he laid down.
"It's time to start round two!" the announcer yelled. "The first fighter is known by most of the Sayain race, give it up for Bardock!" Vegeto then instantly sat up.
"Did he say Bardock?" Vegeto asked as he looked for Bardock. When he saw Bardock, he waved. "Kick some butt Bardock!"
"His challenger is an unexpected one though," the announcer said. "Give it up for Radizt! He's Bardock's first son since Bardock's second son Kakarrot was born today!"
"Bardock has two sons!?" Vegeto asked in surprise and shock. When he saw Radizt though he started laughing. "That can't be Bardock's son unless if he got that long hair from his mother! It goes all the way down to his knees!"
"Father why do you look after those kids more than me?" Radizt asked in an angry tone.
"Because they're more powerful than you'll ever be," Bardock said. "They're going to be Super Elite's while you'll stay a Third Class Sayain."
"That's it!" Radizt yelled in anger. "I'm going to kill you!" Once the announcer shot a ki blast into the air and it exploded, Radizt launched forward at Bardock as he gathered ki into the palm of his hand. When he fired the blast Bardock disappeared. "Where did you go old man!"
"Right here son," Bardock said as he grabbed Radizt by the hair and threw him across the arena. When Radizt landed on his feet Bardock appeared right in his face and blasted him in the chest. Bardock then grabbed him by the tail making Radizt scream in pain. "Look at you. You aren't even hazed. You're pathetic! They're hazed and way stronger than you'll ever be. One more thing, you're going to pay for calling me an old man." Bardock then shot a blast through Radizt's back making Radizt pass out from the pain. Bardock then threw Radizt out of the arena by the tail and walked out. "How pathetic can a Sayain get?"
"The winner of this round is Bardock!" the announcer yelled.
"Bardock's changed from the last time we saw him," Takira said. "He's not only stronger but he's more fierce."
"Remember that we've never seen Bardock fight before though Takira," Gogeta said. "Everyone's different when they fight even us."
"Since it's going to be a while for the next round we're in lets get something to eat," Seripa suggested.
"Good idea Seripa," Vegeto said. "It's to bad that the next time I fight though I go up against Bardock."
"You guys go we'll check out the competition," Gogeta said.
"We'll bring you back something bro," Vegeto said as he left.
* * * * * *
"Let's get ready for the 25 round!" the announcer yelled.
"I can't believe that all of us except for Gogeta got picked to fight the Ginyu Force," Carina said as she rolled up her tail.
"At least you got Jeice," Cirus said. "I got Captain Ginyu himself."
"Now from the Ginyu Force we've got the quick and powerful Berter!" the announcer yelled. "This girl is known to put up a good fight and she spars with her friends two of her friends being Gogeta and Vegeto themselves! Give it up for Seripa!" Once the ki blast was exploded after being shot up Berter instantly dashed at Seripa with blinding speed. As he was about to hit Seripa though she grabbed him and slammed him into the ground using Berter's speed to her advantage. She then jumped into the air and powered up a ki blast to fire at Berter. Unfortunately Berter had already gotten up and was planning to attack Seripa from behind. Once again though Berter was stopped as Seripa elbowed Berter in the ribs making him gag. When Seripa heard him, she threw the blast in his face making Berter fall from the sky. Before he hit the ground though he stopped himself.
"Man that was close!" Berter said with his lizard like voice. "How could this girl predict all of my attacks? It's impossible! She might be able to see my movements slightly." Before Berter realized it though, a strong force had knocked him into the ground.
"You shouldn't let your guard down," Seripa said as she relaxed her hand. "You might be bigger the me by about three times my size but, that makes you a bigger target too."
"The winner of this round is Seripa!" the announcer yelled. Seripa then flew over to her friends.
"You did awesome against him Seripa!" Vegeto said as he gave her a hug and a kiss.
"Thanks Vegeto," Seripa said with a relaxed smile. "He wasn't that tough though. He only had the strength needed. If he was a little faster I might not have won."
"My turn!" Takira said as she stopped stretching. "Let's see my opponent is Recoome the biggest one. He looks tough but I bet I could take him." Takira then ran over to the arena and got ready to fight. When Recoome got into the arena the announcer spoke.
"From the Ginyu Force comes the mighty, the powerful Recoome!" The announcer yelled. "From the same team as Gogeta comes Takira! She trains with Gogeta all the time and she barely leaves his side!" the announcer then shot the ki blast up to start the match. The second it exploded Recoome and Takira dashed right at each other. Recoome threw a powerful punch but Takira blocked it with a punch of her own. They then rapidly connected punch per punch and kick per kick.
"Takira needs to go on the offensive," Gogeta said. "He's the one that can take the hits." Takira then went for a leg sweep making Recoome lose his balance. Takira then kicked Recoome in the stomach and then blasted him in the face sending him flying across the arena. As Recoome was about to regain control Takira appeared in front of him and double hammered him into the ground of the arena. She then gained some distance to power up an attack. When Recoome got up, he started laughing.
"This is fun," Recoome said. "Let's play some more." Recoome then started powering up. "I call this attack the Recoome Boom. Everyone who's seen this attack hasn't lived to tell about it." Recoome's power then started shaking the whole tournament area. When he charged at Takira, she shifted her left foot.
'I've only got one chance to stop him,' Takira thought as Recoome sped towards her. When Recoome was about to attack Takira jumped over him and fired a power ki blast while she was upside down. When it connected, Recoome sped out of control and out of the arena. The only thing that stopped him was the mountain he crashed into which fell apart on contact.
"Takira's the winner!" the announcer yelled as the crowd cheered. Takira then flew down to Gogeta as she breathed hard.
"I put a lot of my energy into that blast," Takira said as she tried to catch her breath.
"Don't worry Takira," Gogeta said. "You have 16 more rounds to rest before your next fight and by then you should be fully rested."
"Thanks Gogeta," Takira said as she hugged him.
"It's my turn to have some fun now!" Carina said after she stopped stretching. She then flew to the Arena and landed in front of her opponent.
"From the Ginyu Force comes Jeice!" the announcer yelled. "Jeice is known to be an extremely tough opponent and he's come in second place in every tournament next to Captain Ginyu himself! His opponent is yet another friend of Gogeta's team! Her name's Carina and she going to be a tough one to defeat as well since her skills have improved substantially ever since she went into Clanning!" The announcer then shot a ki blast into the air. As it exploded, Carina and Jeice instantly dashed at each other. When Jeice tried to punch, Carina though she jumped over him then elbowed him in the back of the head. When she tried for a leg sweep though Jeice jumped up and kicked Carina over the edge of the ring.
"I've won!" Jeice yelled when he couldn't see Carina. The announcer then walked over to the edge where Carina fell.
"This round isn't over yet!" the announcer yelled. "She caught the edge of the ring and she's still hanging on!"
"Then this will finish her off!" Jeice said as he gathered energy. Once he finished, a red ball came out of his hand. "Fire Ball!" He then hit the ball like a volleyball towards Carina. When Jeice's Fire Ball attack was about to hit Carina she pushed off against the side of the arena and flew up barley dodging the attack. She then threw a counter blast at Jeice. When Jeice jumped up to dodge it though Carina appeared above him then dropped down and kicked him out of the arena.
"Carina's the winner!" the announcer yelled as the crowd cheered.
"Next round will be tougher," Carina said to herself. "I need to go against Takira."
"Carina you did great," Cirus said as he flew into the arena. "Go rest up it's my turn and I get to fight Captain Ginyu."
"OK Cirus," Carina said as she started walking past him. She then gave him a kiss making him blush. "Good luck." When she hopped down from the arena the announcer had started talking.
"From the Ginyu Force we have the leader the mighty Captain Ginyu!" the announcer yelled as Captain Ginyu laughed. "His opponent is another Sayain from Gogeta's team give it up for Cirus! So far Gogeta's team has wiped the floor of this arena with the Ginyu Force but it could all change right here with Captain Ginyu!" The announcer then shot a ki blast into the sky. When it exploded though all Cirus and Captain Ginyu did was get into fighting stances.
"Face it Ginyu you'll lose like your team has," Cirus said with a cocky smile.
"No way!" Captain Ginyu said with the same cocky smile. "For I am Captain Ginyu!" Captain Ginyu then did one of his ridiculous poses after saying his name. After the pose though Captain Ginyu found a fist already hit him in the face sending him flying across the arena. Before he reached the end though he disappeared.
'Where is that loser,' Cirus thought. 'Of course! He's going to try to attack me from behind!' Cirus then sent a kick in back of him just in time to connect with Captain Ginyu's stomach. 'Now all I have to do is make sure he can't attack anymore and he's mine!' Cirus then shot a ki blast in the least inspected area that no one had thought of during the whole tournament the groin. When the blast connected Captain Ginyu couldn't move anymore because of the intense pain as Cirus grabbed him by the weird horns of his and threw him out of the arena.
"Cirus is the winner!" the announcer yelled. Captain Ginyu then got up with an angry look on his face.
"Kid that was a cheap shot!" Captain Ginyu yelled as he powered up a ki blast "For that you're going to pay!" Captain Ginyu then threw the blast at Cirus. All Cirus could do was look at the blast since it was to fast for him to counter or even dodge. When the blast was about to connect though Gogeta appeared in front of the blast and caught it.
"Back down Ginyu before I decide to fight you," Gogeta said as he crushed the blast in his hand. Captain Ginyu then ran off as he yelled at his team to leave.
"Thanks Gogeta," Cirus said. "That would have nailed me since it moved to fast."
"No problem Cirus," Gogeta said with a smile. "After all I want you at 100% when you and me fight. Go rest up it's my turn."
"Hey kid remember me?" a familiar voice said as the next fighter stepped into the arena. When Gogeta turned his head, he instantly remembered who the fighter was.
"I remember you," Gogeta said as Cirus left the arena since he knew who it was too. "You're that first hazing teacher we had. Wasn't getting your arm ripped off enough for you?"
"This time it's going to be different," the fighter said. "You're going to be suffering since I'm stronger this time and as you see I've got my arm back."
"Let's begin the last round of the first part of this tournament!" the announcer yelled. "This fighter used to be a hazing teacher before an accident happened when he got his arm ripped out of its socket give it up for Kui!" The only thing Kui got though were boos and Sayains yelling get out of the arena for the real fighters. "His opponent is the one everyone's heard about through 5 now 6 rounds of the tournament! Everyone give it up for the skilled Gogeta!" Everyone then started cheering. Gogeta then heard three voices from the audience that he remembered.
'Mom and Dad are here,' Gogeta thought to himself as the announcer shot a ki blast into the air. 'Might as well show them how powerful I am through a little demonstration. The real demonstration though will be when I fight Vegeto.' The ki blast then exploded as Kui dashed at Gogeta with his full speed. When Kui threw a punch though he hit nothing but air. Gogeta then appeared on his head. When Kui threw a blast at Gogeta, Gogeta appeared behind him and kicked the back of Kui's legs causing him to fall over. "If that's all you've got then you might as well give up because I'm just warming up," Gogeta said as he crossed his arms. Kui just spat and started rapidly throwing ki blasts at Gogeta. Gogeta just smiled though as the ki blasts one by one hit him causing explosions to come up from the force of the ki blasts. When Kui finished throwing ki blasts, there was nothing but smoke.
"Congratulations Gogeta, you're dead," Kui said as he breathed hard with a smile on his face. Kui's expression then changed as he heard laughter inside the smoke.
"If I'm dead then how do you explain this?" Gogeta asked as a green spiral beam came out from the smoke going through Kui's heart. Kui then fell over unconscious.
"The winner is Gogeta!" the announcer yelled as the crowd cheered.
'This is as easy as it gets,' Gogeta thought as he stepped down from the arena.
"The second session of the tournament will start in a few minutes!" the announcer yelled. Everyone then got up to talk to their friends in the tournament.
"That was great Gogeta!" Takira said as she hugged him.
"Thank Takira," Gogeta said with a smile. "I could have made Kui suffer even more though. I didn't mean to knock him out I guess the pain was to much for him."
"Actually son I agree with your friend," Toma said as he put a hand on Gogeta's shoulder. "All of you did great in fact."
"Thanks Dad," Gogeta said as he turned to face his father. "But I also used my Choroniki Shield to absorb those ki blasts."
"I knew you used your shield bro," Vegeto said as he walked up to them with Seripa behind him. "Remember that when you fight me though it might not be a good weapon for you to use against me."
"Don't you two fight right now," Seripa said. "After all it will be a while before your match with each other."
"OK Mom," Gogeta and Vegeto said at the same time. The announcer then started speaking.
"We're ready for the second session of the tournament!" the announcer yelled. "Vegeto and Bardock will you both please come up for the first round?"
"Well I guess I better get going," Vegeto said as he flew towards the arena.
"We better get going too," Toma said. "After all we have great seats to watch all the fights. Tell your brother that I wished both of you luck Gogeta."
"I will Dad," Gogeta said as his parents left. Once Vegeto and Bardock got to the arena, the announcer spoke again.
"OK since introductions have been made I don't need to tell you about these fighters," the announcer said. "We're getting closer to the end and the closer we get the more intense the battles will get." He then threw a ki blast into the air. Once it exploded Bardock dashed at Vegeto.
'I need to keep my guard up,' Bardock thought. 'After all he is a SSJ.' As soon as the match began Bardock dash at Vegeto. Bardock then disappeared when he in Vegeto's face. Vegeto smiled as he disappeared like Bardock did. There was then a flash of light as Bardock and Vegeto connected fists. 'This won't do. Vegeto's better than I thought. At this rate, he would tire me out and he'll still be full of energy.' Bardock had tried throwing a ki blast at Vegeto but Vegeto only deflected it and countered with a blast of his own. Bardock had tried blocking it but to his surprise, it pushed him down from the sky back to the arena. When Bardock was able to stop it from pushing him back, he found himself at the edge of the arena. Vegeto the appeared behind Bardock and tripped him causing Bardock to fall out of the arena.
"Vegeto's the winner!" the announcer yelled as everyone cheered. Vegeto then hopped down from the arena and helped Bardock up.
"You did great Vegeto," Bardock said as he dusted himself off. "I never inspected that you would have learned this much in such a sort time. You've really improved since last year."
"Yea I know Bardock," Vegeto said. "But my goal is to beat my bro. He's the only one that's near to my power level and he might be stronger as well."
"I don't blame you," Bardock said. "After all he is powerful and he killed Serene."
"Let's go relax and watch the rest of the tournament," Vegeto said. "After all I'll need my strength if I'm gonna go up against bro."

As the day went by the fights became more intense. Bardock, Toma, and Seripa had to leave because they had gotten a mission to take out the planet Kanassa. There was a problem with fighters since there wasn't enough fighters so they moved a person up to the second round instantly to solve the problem. Seripa won her match easily since she went against a Sayain that thought that she was weak. Takira had managed to get an edge over Carina and barley got her out of the arena using her strongest blast. Gogeta had dominated Cirus though. Although they fought at the same power level Cirus couldn't stand against skill and since Gogeta had the most skill Cirus lost. When it came up to, the third round Vegeto and Seripa had easily won their matches. The match that they were worried about was the match with Takira and Gogeta. They knew that Gogeta would try not to hurt Takira and that Takira would do the same. At the end though Gogeta barley managed to get Takira out of the arena. Gogeta and Vegeto had managed to keep up their winning streak while the person who started in the second round entry kept up one of it's own. Soon they were in the semifinals round.
"Bro do you even know the name of the fighter that started in the second round?" Vegeto asked as he stretched. "I go up against him next and I want to at least know who I fight before you."
"No I don't," Gogeta said as he looked around the area. "The person you have to fight has to be around here some where."
"Or maybe they're right behind you weaklings," a familiar voice said from behind Gogeta.
"I know whose voice that is," Gogeta said. "I thought you were training Vegeta not here at the tournament."
"You don't think I forgot what we agreed to almost a year ago," Vegeta said as Gogeta turned to face him. "First I'm going to beat your brother then you."
"Please Vegeto you're going to be my easiest match yet," Vegeto said with a smirk. "The only one that's going to be fighting my bro is me."
"We'll see about that Vegeto," Vegeta said with his usual angry expression. "I might as well kill you in our match." Vegeta then walk away through the crowd.
"I'm going to have fun playing around with him," Vegeto said with a smirk.
"Go ahead and humiliate him. He deserves it," Gogeta said. "Just remember to save as much energy as you can. You'll have to fight me after you fight Vegeta."
"I know but I also have a chance to rest," Vegeto said with a smirk. "You have your round then we both get about 15 minutes to rest up. They want the last fight to be the best and the only way that will happen is if both fighters are at their max which means we can also use the Regeneration Tanks."
"I forgot about that," Gogeta said with a smile. "When we're at our max we can go all out and since those other aliens will probably leave when their fighters are out of the tournament we don't have to hold back. We still can't go SSJ though since Freeza's scouters can find us with that kind of power."
"OK I get how it goes bro," Vegeto said. "Remember though that I also have new attacks."
"I remember but I still have attacks of my own I want to try out," Gogeta said as the announcer had started speaking again.
"Now it's time for the semifinals!" the announcer yelled. "Will Vegeto and Vegeta please come to the arena."
"Well that's me," Vegeto said as he cracked his knuckles. "I'll see you after your match bro." Vegeto then flew over to the arena where he saw Vegeta already waiting.
"As you all know Vegeta and Vegeto were both in the same Clan," the announcer yelled. "This fight is inspected to be a good one since they probably know each others fighting style's. Now lets get this match started!" The announcer then threw a ki blast into the air. When it exploded, Vegeta launched at Vegeto with all his might. When Vegeta threw a punch Vegeto blocked it with ease. Vegeta eyes then opened wide as Vegeto sent a kick into his stomach sending him flying across the arena. Before he reached the edge though he disappeared.
'Vegeto doesn't even know that I'm toying with him,' Vegeto thought as he sent a back fist to his right. Everyone's eyes then opened wide as Vegeta had not only reappeared but was flying out of the arena this time. Vegeta had barley managed to stop himself and then a smile appeared on his face.
'I'll use my Gallit Gun on him,' Vegeta thought as he gathered all of his energy and reappeared in front of Vegeto. When he finished, he threw his hands in front of him. "Gallit Gun fire!" Vegeta yelled as he released the purple blast. Vegeta smiled as it hit Vegeto and he started laughing. "I win! Vegeto's dead!" Vegeta's eyes then widened as he felt two arms wrap around his head.
"Guess again!" Vegeto said as he tightened his grip. "When you fired that blast I let it hit me. I was tempted to go through the attack but that wouldn't be fun for me. It's time to end this match!" Vegeto then threw Vegeta into the sky and appeared above him a second later. He then used Vegeta like a volleyball softening him up. After he softened up Vegeta, Vegeto grabbed Vegeta by the ankle and threw him out of the arena. Vegeta was barley able to stop himself but he wasn't prepared for a blast Vegeto sent after him after throwing him making Vegeta land out side of the ring.
"Vegeto's the winner!" the announcer yelled as everyone cheered. Vegeta then was taken to emergency care since Vegeto had beaten him up badly. After a few minutes a Sayain ran to the announcer and whispered something to him. "Folks it seems the main event is next! The person who was supposed to fight against Gogeta dropped out when he saw Gogeta's last match!"
"It seems I only need to wait 15 minutes now bro," Vegeto said. "Then it's just you and me."
"True but remember no SSJ," Gogeta said as he relaxed.
"Yea I know," Vegeto said. "But remember bro don't hold back. If I beat you I want to beat you when you're at your best."
"Understood brother," Gogeta said. "After all this isn't just a sparring match this time and this is the first match where we don't have to worry about anyone seeing our power since this is our race watching us now."

After the 15 minutes passed, Gogeta and Vegeto were already in the ring. The announcer knew how powerful they were so he stayed far away from the arena so he didn't get hurt.
"OK it's time for the final round!" the announcer yelled. "Gogeta and Vegeto are both brothers and sparring partners so this is going to be the most intense round! The winner of the tournament will be rewarded with money and the trophy!" The announcer then pointed at a huge gold trophy that was huge. "Now lets get this final round under way!" The announcer then threw a ki blast into the air. When it exploded though Gogeta and Vegeto only smiled.
"Just to let everyone know this will be the most intense!" Vegeto yelled to the crowd.
"We both have been holding back but now we're going all out!" Gogeta yelled. Vegeto and Gogeta then started powering up causing the area to start shaking. While they powered up the crowd froze in shock as all the scouters blew up in their faces. As they finished, the battle began as they both launched at each other. As they were in each other's faces Vegeto threw a swift kick at Gogeta's head as Gogeta disappeared. Vegeto then jumped back as Gogeta reappeared above where he was and tried to kick Vegeto but Vegeto was out of range.
"I never knew Gogeta and Vegeto were even that fast without SSJ," Cirus said as he watched from outside of the arena.
"Remember they've been training for this," Carina said as she watched while resting her head on Cirus' shoulder. "They made sure that they were at their max."
"That might be true but we all know who's going to win this match," Seripa said with a smile. "It's going to be Vegeto!"
"I wouldn't bet on that Seripa," Takira said as she floated down from watching the fight. "It's going to be Gogeta since he trains hard and has more of an effective training than Vegeto does."
"Wanna bet?" Seripa said with a smirk. "If you're so sure then why not make a bet if Vegeto wins you'll have to try and get Vegeta on our team."
"OK as long as you do the same if Gogeta wins," Takira said as she smirked back.
"OK deal!" Seripa said as her attention went back to the battle. Her expression then changed as Vegeto hit the arena hard making it cave in a little. Vegeto then rolled out of the way as Gogeta's fist hit the spot where Vegeto was making it cave in more. Vegeto then threw a ki blast in Gogeta's face making Gogeta fly backwards from the force. Vegeto then threw another ki blast hoping the first blast made it so Gogeta couldn't defend against the attack. As it was about to connect the blast went into Gogeta.
"I should have known you would use your Choroniki Shield sooner or later," Vegeto said as he got up.
"Of course," Gogeta said as he landed back on the arena. "You wanted me to try my best."
"Well it's time for me to try my best bro," Vegeto said with a smile. "Choronic Shield!" An invisible shield then surrounded Vegeto.
"What's a Choronic Shield?" Gogeta asked totally confused.
"It's a shield that can counter yours bro," Vegeto said. "Instead of taking ki attacks though it takes physical."
"No wonder why you didn't want me to hold back," Gogeta said.
"Actually I just wanted to see who's stronger and with both of our shields up we'll see now," Vegeto said as he got into a fighting position.
"I don't think so Vegeto," Gogeta said with a smirk on his face. "If your shield is anything like mine it will break from a single ki attack."
"What do you mean!?" Vegeto asked in surprise.
"My shield breaks from a single physical attack so if you made your shield anything like mine it should break from a single ki attack," Gogeta said as he got into a fighting position like Vegeto did. Gogeta then threw a ki blast at Vegeto while Vegeto's guard was down. Vegeto had dodged the blast but his shield was destroyed in the process. "See what I mean Vegeto? We might as well fight without our shields."
"Guess you're right bro," Vegeto said as he disappeared and reappeared behind Gogeta catching Gogeta off his guard. Vegeto then threw a kick, which Gogeta dodged but like Vegeto's shield, his shield broke as well. Vegeto then went for a leg sweep but Gogeta jumped over it and kicked Vegeto in the head making him slide across the arena. Vegeto then stopped himself and gathered a bunch of ki into his right hand.
"Let's see how you like my new move bro!" Vegeto said as he threw a punch beneath him and released the ki into the arena. Gogeta though had already started coming towards Vegeto getting ready a ki blast of his own. When Gogeta fired though Vegeto jumped up and raised his right hand. Before Gogeta knew what was happening, he was surrounded in a weird ki barrier. Gogeta tried to get out of it but the barrier was already doing its job as it engulfed Gogeta in a powerful dead flame. After the attack finished Gogeta was on the ground breathing hard since he was badly burned and used a lot of ki to try and stop the attack. "I haven't given that attack a name yet but I'll think of something for it later," Vegeto said as he gathered more energy. Vegeto then held his hands out in front of him as he focused the energy. "Final Flash!" Vegeto then released the energy at Gogeta also making the whole area of the tournament shake.
'This could be my only chance to defeat him,' Gogeta thought as he forced himself to his feet and held two of his fingers out in front of him. "Choroniki Shield!" Gogeta yelled as he made his shield to try not only to defend but to go on the offensive as well. As the blast was about to hit Gogeta, his shield took the blast. Gogeta then focused the shield to put all the energy from the attack into his two fingers. "You might have weakened me but thanks to your blast I now have the energy I need to take you head to head! Mega Beam Cannon fire!" Gogeta then fired his beam into the center of Vegeto's Final Flash causing it to move back. As it was about to reach Vegeto he forced all of his remaining strength into the blast making it move back towards Gogeta again. When it was about to hit Gogeta, he forced his body to let out the rest of his energy causing the beam and the blast to tie in power. Before the two brothers knew it though the power of the beam and the blast caused an explosion that neither of them were able to block causing dust to rise covering them both. When the dust cleared away from Gogeta, he was on both of his knees breathing hard and looking for Vegeto. When the dust cleared from Vegeto though everyone looked as the right half of him was not only gone but he was unconscious as well.
"The winner of the tournament is Gogeta!" the announcer yelled as the crowd cheered. The cheering was cut short though as Gogeta passed out. Takira and Seripa instantly went over to Gogeta and Vegeto and carried them to where they can put them into Regeneration Tanks. After Takira and Seripa got them in, they relaxed next to the Regeneration Tanks waiting for Gogeta and Vegeto to fully heal.

Chapter 13
The tournament
As Gogeta floated in the air, he made sure none of his friends had any trouble. A year almost passed since Takira almost killed him. While he watched, Gogeta was deep in his thoughts. 'Who ever thought that we all would be able to go SSJ?' Gogeta thought. 'Now we really do have a chance against Frieza.' Gogeta then saw that there was an aerial attack of worriers coming and started powering up. When they divided though he knew there was only one way to stop them. "Guys listen there's an aerial attack on their way," Gogeta said to everyone through telepathy. "I want you all to pretend that they're not coming. When they get close enough though destroy them." As soon as they were about to attack, several blasts came from the ground at the worriers making them fall. As they fell, Gogeta finished them off one by one. When they were through all that was left were shambles of the once inhabited buildings. After they got, back together they sat outside while eating their food just incase there were any survivors on the planet.
"So guys are you excited about the tournament?" Cirus asked as he took a big bite of his meal.
"Yea I'm really excited," Gogeta said as he drank some water. "I've been waiting over a year to be in the tournament since I couldn't enter while I was in clanning."
"Me too bro," Vegeto said as he swallowed his food. "All the toughest fighters are going to be there. Of course they aren't as tough as the six of us am I right?"
"You're right Vegeto," Seripa said as she put an arm over his shoulder. "But the reason for that is because of all of us being SSJ's."
"Remember that we're trying to get to the level Gogeta and Vegeto are at Seripa," Carina said. "Trying to get to that level really takes a lot out of you. Takira you're the only one of use that's almost gone the whole way. How can you even stand that?"
"It isn't easy that's all I can say," Takira said. "Remember that I've only gotten close to completing the transformation. It's going to take me a little more training to get there."
"Right now I'm glad about one huge difference in our lives," Vegeto said as he finished. "No more Vegeta to bother and ridicule us."
"Vegeto you know he wasn't all that bad," Gogeta said. "He's just not very social with other people. I'm sure he'll turn around someday and be our friend."
"That's very doubtful," everyone except Gogeta said at the same time.
"I guess I'm the only one that thinks that then," Gogeta said as he tried to hold in his laughter.
"Come on guys," Cirus said. "Lets get back and rest up. The tournaments tomorrow and I want to get as much rest as possible."

As Gogeta, Vegeto, Takira, Seripa, Cirus, and Carina made it through the crowd, they noticed many pretty strong fighters there. All of them weren't Sayains though. Some were like that catfish guy Gogeta hand humiliated during the first day of hazing. Then there was the Ginyu force. "There are rumors about the Ginyu force being Frieza's personal fighters and if you defeat one you'll be killed by Frieza himself because he'll think you're to strong afterward," a Sayain said as he stretched.
"Maybe being in this tournament isn't such a good idea Gogeta," Takira said after hearing what the Sayain said.
"Don't worry about it," Gogeta said with a relaxed smile on his face. "If we beat them they'll just say that they lost their footing or something. They'll be to embarrassed to even admit they were beaten by use. Besides, they're weak just sense their power levels."
"You're right I guess," Takira said with a smile. "I'm probably a little nervous about being here."
"Don't you worry about it," Vegeto said. "It's not like we'll even fight them. All the matches are at random at the beginning so it's highly doubtful that they'll have to fight one of us."
"Speak for yourself Vegeto," Gogeta said.
"What do you mean bro?" Vegeto asked totally confused.
"You have to fight Galdo first and he's a member of the Ginyu Force," Gogeta said while pointing at the board where all the names were listed.
As Vegeto looked at his competition, he started laughing. "You've got to be kidding me!" Vegeto said as he tried to hold in his laughter. "That four eyed freak's my first victim?"
"Don't under estimate him brother," Gogeta said. "Everyone of the Ginyu force members are known for something different. From what I here one has the ability to freeze time, another had super speed, one of them can take a hell of a lot of hits, another has a powerful attack, and the captain has the highest power level of them all."
"I wonder what that four eyed pig has," Vegeto said thinking out load.
"I'm not a four eyed pig!" Galdo yelled from across the room. "Show some respect little brat!"
"Then why do you look like a round ball with arms, four eyes, and legs!" Vegeto yelled back. Everyone then started laughing.
"Man you think with the power he has Vegeto would have grown up a little," Cirus said as a sweat drop appeared on his fore head.
"I know what you mean," Carina said. "He still acts the same way like when he was 3."
"Attention all competitors!" the announcer said from the middle of the ring. "The tournament is about to begin! In the first round, we have a member from the Ginyu Force Galdo! His challenger is the Vegeto. This is his first year here but from his records, he's known to give a good fight and he is also the brother of the famous Gogeta himself! Will the fighters come to the arena please!"
"I'll see you guys after I win my match," Vegeto said as he ran over to the arena. After Galdo got in the arena, the announcer spoke again.
"Now remember, you lose when you're out of the arena, give up, get knocked out, or when you die. Ready? Now lets get this tournament started!" the announcer said as he shot a ki blast up into the air.
"You're going to be sorry for embarrassing me kid!" Galdo said as the blast exploded. Vegeto just smiled as he dashed forward. When he threw a punch though, he hit nothing but air.
'Where did he go!?' Vegeto thought as he looked. Before Vegeto knew it, he was hit with ki blasts all around him. 'Bro was right! This is one has the ability to freeze time!' Vegeto then threw a blast at Galdo when he saw him. When the blast was about to hit Galdo, he smiled.
"Time Freeze!" Galdo yelled as the blast was about to hit him and he held his breath. When time froze though he had a look of panic on his face. 'How can he be that fast!' Galdo thought as he saw several Vegeto's all of them ready to do blasts. 'His timing's good but not good enough." As Galdo was about to prepare a counter, he realized one thing he forgot. 'I can't hold my breath any longer!' When he let his breath out time started back up again and the blasts restarted as well. When all the blasts hit Galdo, all he could do was to try to defend himself.
"Got him!" Vegeto said as he landed one the ground. "I might have killed him too, oh well." When he saw that Galdo was still moving though Vegeto instantly dashed towards Galdo and grabbed him. 'After that he probably can't fly so if I throw him out I won't have to worry about him freezing time,' Vegeto thought as he threw Galdo. When Galdo realized he was thrown he tried to stop himself but, he didn't have enough strength and fell to the ground.
"The winner of the first round is Vegeto!" the announcer yelled as everyone cheered. Vegeto then stepped down and walked over to Gogeta.
"You were right bro," Vegeto said. "He had the ability to freeze time."
"I told you to be careful," Gogeta said. "You won't believe who's fighting after you."
"I don't care either since I got a lot of damage from that trickster," Vegeto said as he laid down.
"It's time to start round two!" the announcer yelled. "The first fighter is known by most of the Sayain race, give it up for Bardock!" Vegeto then instantly sat up.
"Did he say Bardock?" Vegeto asked as he looked for Bardock. When he saw Bardock, he waved. "Kick some butt Bardock!"
"His challenger is an unexpected one though," the announcer said. "Give it up for Radizt! He's Bardock's first son since Bardock's second son Kakarrot was born today!"
"Bardock has two sons!?" Vegeto asked in surprise and shock. When he saw Radizt though he started laughing. "That can't be Bardock's son unless if he got that long hair from his mother! It goes all the way down to his knees!"
"Father why do you look after those kids more than me?" Radizt asked in an angry tone.
"Because they're more powerful than you'll ever be," Bardock said. "They're going to be Super Elite's while you'll stay a Third Class Sayain."
"That's it!" Radizt yelled in anger. "I'm going to kill you!" Once the announcer shot a ki blast into the air and it exploded, Radizt launched forward at Bardock as he gathered ki into the palm of his hand. When he fired the blast Bardock disappeared. "Where did you go old man!"
"Right here son," Bardock said as he grabbed Radizt by the hair and threw him across the arena. When Radizt landed on his feet Bardock appeared right in his face and blasted him in the chest. Bardock then grabbed him by the tail making Radizt scream in pain. "Look at you. You aren't even hazed. You're pathetic! They're hazed and way stronger than you'll ever be. One more thing, you're going to pay for calling me an old man." Bardock then shot a blast through Radizt's back making Radizt pass out from the pain. Bardock then threw Radizt out of the arena by the tail and walked out. "How pathetic can a Sayain get?"
"The winner of this round is Bardock!" the announcer yelled.
"Bardock's changed from the last time we saw him," Takira said. "He's not only stronger but he's more fierce."
"Remember that we've never seen Bardock fight before though Takira," Gogeta said. "Everyone's different when they fight even us."
"Since it's going to be a while for the next round we're in lets get something to eat," Seripa suggested.
"Good idea Seripa," Vegeto said. "It's to bad that the next time I fight though I go up against Bardock."
"You guys go we'll check out the competition," Gogeta said.
"We'll bring you back something bro," Vegeto said as he left.
* * * * * *
"Let's get ready for the 25 round!" the announcer yelled.
"I can't believe that all of us except for Gogeta got picked to fight the Ginyu Force," Carina said as she rolled up her tail.
"At least you got Jeice," Cirus said. "I got Captain Ginyu himself."
"Now from the Ginyu Force we've got the quick and powerful Berter!" the announcer yelled. "This girl is known to put up a good fight and she spars with her friends two of her friends being Gogeta and Vegeto themselves! Give it up for Seripa!" Once the ki blast was exploded after being shot up Berter instantly dashed at Seripa with blinding speed. As he was about to hit Seripa though she grabbed him and slammed him into the ground using Berter's speed to her advantage. She then jumped into the air and powered up a ki blast to fire at Berter. Unfortunately Berter had already gotten up and was planning to attack Seripa from behind. Once again though Berter was stopped as Seripa elbowed Berter in the ribs making him gag. When Seripa heard him, she threw the blast in his face making Berter fall from the sky. Before he hit the ground though he stopped himself.
"Man that was close!" Berter said with his lizard like voice. "How could this girl predict all of my attacks? It's impossible! She might be able to see my movements slightly." Before Berter realized it though, a strong force had knocked him into the ground.
"You shouldn't let your guard down," Seripa said as she relaxed her hand. "You might be bigger the me by about three times my size but, that makes you a bigger target too."
"The winner of this round is Seripa!" the announcer yelled. Seripa then flew over to her friends.
"You did awesome against him Seripa!" Vegeto said as he gave her a hug and a kiss.
"Thanks Vegeto," Seripa said with a relaxed smile. "He wasn't that tough though. He only had the strength needed. If he was a little faster I might not have won."
"My turn!" Takira said as she stopped stretching. "Let's see my opponent is Recoome the biggest one. He looks tough but I bet I could take him." Takira then ran over to the arena and got ready to fight. When Recoome got into the arena the announcer spoke.
"From the Ginyu Force comes the mighty, the powerful Recoome!" The announcer yelled. "From the same team as Gogeta comes Takira! She trains with Gogeta all the time and she barely leaves his side!" the announcer then shot the ki blast up to start the match. The second it exploded Recoome and Takira dashed right at each other. Recoome threw a powerful punch but Takira blocked it with a punch of her own. They then rapidly connected punch per punch and kick per kick.
"Takira needs to go on the offensive," Gogeta said. "He's the one that can take the hits." Takira then went for a leg sweep making Recoome lose his balance. Takira then kicked Recoome in the stomach and then blasted him in the face sending him flying across the arena. As Recoome was about to regain control Takira appeared in front of him and double hammered him into the ground of the arena. She then gained some distance to power up an attack. When Recoome got up, he started laughing.
"This is fun," Recoome said. "Let's play some more." Recoome then started powering up. "I call this attack the Recoome Boom. Everyone who's seen this attack hasn't lived to tell about it." Recoome's power then started shaking the whole tournament area. When he charged at Takira, she shifted her left foot.
'I've only got one chance to stop him,' Takira thought as Recoome sped towards her. When Recoome was about to attack Takira jumped over him and fired a power ki blast while she was upside down. When it connected, Recoome sped out of control and out of the arena. The only thing that stopped him was the mountain he crashed into which fell apart on contact.
"Takira's the winner!" the announcer yelled as the crowd cheered. Takira then flew down to Gogeta as she breathed hard.
"I put a lot of my energy into that blast," Takira said as she tried to catch her breath.
"Don't worry Takira," Gogeta said. "You have 16 more rounds to rest before your next fight and by then you should be fully rested."
"Thanks Gogeta," Takira said as she hugged him.
"It's my turn to have some fun now!" Carina said after she stopped stretching. She then flew to the Arena and landed in front of her opponent.
"From the Ginyu Force comes Jeice!" the announcer yelled. "Jeice is known to be an extremely tough opponent and he's come in second place in every tournament next to Captain Ginyu himself! His opponent is yet another friend of Gogeta's team! Her name's Carina and she going to be a tough one to defeat as well since her skills have improved substantially ever since she went into Clanning!" The announcer then shot a ki blast into the air. As it exploded, Carina and Jeice instantly dashed at each other. When Jeice tried to punch, Carina though she jumped over him then elbowed him in the back of the head. When she tried for a leg sweep though Jeice jumped up and kicked Carina over the edge of the ring.
"I've won!" Jeice yelled when he couldn't see Carina. The announcer then walked over to the edge where Carina fell.
"This round isn't over yet!" the announcer yelled. "She caught the edge of the ring and she's still hanging on!"
"Then this will finish her off!" Jeice said as he gathered energy. Once he finished, a red ball came out of his hand. "Fire Ball!" He then hit the ball like a volleyball towards Carina. When Jeice's Fire Ball attack was about to hit Carina she pushed off against the side of the arena and flew up barley dodging the attack. She then threw a counter blast at Jeice. When Jeice jumped up to dodge it though Carina appeared above him then dropped down and kicked him out of the arena.
"Carina's the winner!" the announcer yelled as the crowd cheered.
"Next round will be tougher," Carina said to herself. "I need to go against Takira."
"Carina you did great," Cirus said as he flew into the arena. "Go rest up it's my turn and I get to fight Captain Ginyu."
"OK Cirus," Carina said as she started walking past him. She then gave him a kiss making him blush. "Good luck." When she hopped down from the arena the announcer had started talking.
"From the Ginyu Force we have the leader the mighty Captain Ginyu!" the announcer yelled as Captain Ginyu laughed. "His opponent is another Sayain from Gogeta's team give it up for Cirus! So far Gogeta's team has wiped the floor of this arena with the Ginyu Force but it could all change right here with Captain Ginyu!" The announcer then shot a ki blast into the sky. When it exploded though all Cirus and Captain Ginyu did was get into fighting stances.
"Face it Ginyu you'll lose like your team has," Cirus said with a cocky smile.
"No way!" Captain Ginyu said with the same cocky smile. "For I am Captain Ginyu!" Captain Ginyu then did one of his ridiculous poses after saying his name. After the pose though Captain Ginyu found a fist already hit him in the face sending him flying across the arena. Before he reached the end though he disappeared.
'Where is that loser,' Cirus thought. 'Of course! He's going to try to attack me from behind!' Cirus then sent a kick in back of him just in time to connect with Captain Ginyu's stomach. 'Now all I have to do is make sure he can't attack anymore and he's mine!' Cirus then shot a ki blast in the least inspected area that no one had thought of during the whole tournament the groin. When the blast connected Captain Ginyu couldn't move anymore because of the intense pain as Cirus grabbed him by the weird horns of his and threw him out of the arena.
"Cirus is the winner!" the announcer yelled. Captain Ginyu then got up with an angry look on his face.
"Kid that was a cheap shot!" Captain Ginyu yelled as he powered up a ki blast "For that you're going to pay!" Captain Ginyu then threw the blast at Cirus. All Cirus could do was look at the blast since it was to fast for him to counter or even dodge. When the blast was about to connect though Gogeta appeared in front of the blast and caught it.
"Back down Ginyu before I decide to fight you," Gogeta said as he crushed the blast in his hand. Captain Ginyu then ran off as he yelled at his team to leave.
"Thanks Gogeta," Cirus said. "That would have nailed me since it moved to fast."
"No problem Cirus," Gogeta said with a smile. "After all I want you at 100% when you and me fight. Go rest up it's my turn."
"Hey kid remember me?" a familiar voice said as the next fighter stepped into the arena. When Gogeta turned his head, he instantly remembered who the fighter was.
"I remember you," Gogeta said as Cirus left the arena since he knew who it was too. "You're that first hazing teacher we had. Wasn't getting your arm ripped off enough for you?"
"This time it's going to be different," the fighter said. "You're going to be suffering since I'm stronger this time and as you see I've got my arm back."
"Let's begin the last round of the first part of this tournament!" the announcer yelled. "This fighter used to be a hazing teacher before an accident happened when he got his arm ripped out of its socket give it up for Kui!" The only thing Kui got though were boos and Sayains yelling get out of the arena for the real fighters. "His opponent is the one everyone's heard about through 5 now 6 rounds of the tournament! Everyone give it up for the skilled Gogeta!" Everyone then started cheering. Gogeta then heard three voices from the audience that he remembered.
'Mom and Dad are here,' Gogeta thought to himself as the announcer shot a ki blast into the air. 'Might as well show them how powerful I am through a little demonstration. The real demonstration though will be when I fight Vegeto.' The ki blast then exploded as Kui dashed at Gogeta with his full speed. When Kui threw a punch though he hit nothing but air. Gogeta then appeared on his head. When Kui threw a blast at Gogeta, Gogeta appeared behind him and kicked the back of Kui's legs causing him to fall over. "If that's all you've got then you might as well give up because I'm just warming up," Gogeta said as he crossed his arms. Kui just spat and started rapidly throwing ki blasts at Gogeta. Gogeta just smiled though as the ki blasts one by one hit him causing explosions to come up from the force of the ki blasts. When Kui finished throwing ki blasts, there was nothing but smoke.
"Congratulations Gogeta, you're dead," Kui said as he breathed hard with a smile on his face. Kui's expression then changed as he heard laughter inside the smoke.
"If I'm dead then how do you explain this?" Gogeta asked as a green spiral beam came out from the smoke going through Kui's heart. Kui then fell over unconscious.
"The winner is Gogeta!" the announcer yelled as the crowd cheered.
'This is as easy as it gets,' Gogeta thought as he stepped down from the arena.
"The second session of the tournament will start in a few minutes!" the announcer yelled. Everyone then got up to talk to their friends in the tournament.
"That was great Gogeta!" Takira said as she hugged him.
"Thank Takira," Gogeta said with a smile. "I could have made Kui suffer even more though. I didn't mean to knock him out I guess the pain was to much for him."
"Actually son I agree with your friend," Toma said as he put a hand on Gogeta's shoulder. "All of you did great in fact."
"Thanks Dad," Gogeta said as he turned to face his father. "But I also used my Choroniki Shield to absorb those ki blasts."
"I knew you used your shield bro," Vegeto said as he walked up to them with Seripa behind him. "Remember that when you fight me though it might not be a good weapon for you to use against me."
"Don't you two fight right now," Seripa said. "After all it will be a while before your match with each other."
"OK Mom," Gogeta and Vegeto said at the same time. The announcer then started speaking.
"We're ready for the second session of the tournament!" the announcer yelled. "Vegeto and Bardock will you both please come up for the first round?"
"Well I guess I better get going," Vegeto said as he flew towards the arena.
"We better get going too," Toma said. "After all we have great seats to watch all the fights. Tell your brother that I wished both of you luck Gogeta."
"I will Dad," Gogeta said as his parents left. Once Vegeto and Bardock got to the arena, the announcer spoke again.
"OK since introductions have been made I don't need to tell you about these fighters," the announcer said. "We're getting closer to the end and the closer we get the more intense the battles will get." He then threw a ki blast into the air. Once it exploded Bardock dashed at Vegeto.
'I need to keep my guard up,' Bardock thought. 'After all he is a SSJ.' As soon as the match began Bardock dash at Vegeto. Bardock then disappeared when he in Vegeto's face. Vegeto smiled as he disappeared like Bardock did. There was then a flash of light as Bardock and Vegeto connected fists. 'This won't do. Vegeto's better than I thought. At this rate, he would tire me out and he'll still be full of energy.' Bardock had tried throwing a ki blast at Vegeto but Vegeto only deflected it and countered with a blast of his own. Bardock had tried blocking it but to his surprise, it pushed him down from the sky back to the arena. When Bardock was able to stop it from pushing him back, he found himself at the edge of the arena. Vegeto the appeared behind Bardock and tripped him causing Bardock to fall out of the arena.
"Vegeto's the winner!" the announcer yelled as everyone cheered. Vegeto then hopped down from the arena and helped Bardock up.
"You did great Vegeto," Bardock said as he dusted himself off. "I never inspected that you would have learned this much in such a sort time. You've really improved since last year."
"Yea I know Bardock," Vegeto said. "But my goal is to beat my bro. He's the only one that's near to my power level and he might be stronger as well."
"I don't blame you," Bardock said. "After all he is powerful and he killed Serene."
"Let's go relax and watch the rest of the tournament," Vegeto said. "After all I'll need my strength if I'm gonna go up against bro."

As the day went by the fights became more intense. Bardock, Toma, and Seripa had to leave because they had gotten a mission to take out the planet Kanassa. There was a problem with fighters since there wasn't enough fighters so they moved a person up to the second round instantly to solve the problem. Seripa won her match easily since she went against a Sayain that thought that she was weak. Takira had managed to get an edge over Carina and barley got her out of the arena using her strongest blast. Gogeta had dominated Cirus though. Although they fought at the same power level Cirus couldn't stand against skill and since Gogeta had the most skill Cirus lost. When it came up to, the third round Vegeto and Seripa had easily won their matches. The match that they were worried about was the match with Takira and Gogeta. They knew that Gogeta would try not to hurt Takira and that Takira would do the same. At the end though Gogeta barley managed to get Takira out of the arena. Gogeta and Vegeto had managed to keep up their winning streak while the person who started in the second round entry kept up one of it's own. Soon they were in the semifinals round.
"Bro do you even know the name of the fighter that started in the second round?" Vegeto asked as he stretched. "I go up against him next and I want to at least know who I fight before you."
"No I don't," Gogeta said as he looked around the area. "The person you have to fight has to be around here some where."
"Or maybe they're right behind you weaklings," a familiar voice said from behind Gogeta.
"I know whose voice that is," Gogeta said. "I thought you were training Vegeta not here at the tournament."
"You don't think I forgot what we agreed to almost a year ago," Vegeta said as Gogeta turned to face him. "First I'm going to beat your brother then you."
"Please Vegeto you're going to be my easiest match yet," Vegeto said with a smirk. "The only one that's going to be fighting my bro is me."
"We'll see about that Vegeto," Vegeta said with his usual angry expression. "I might as well kill you in our match." Vegeta then walk away through the crowd.
"I'm going to have fun playing around with him," Vegeto said with a smirk.
"Go ahead and humiliate him. He deserves it," Gogeta said. "Just remember to save as much energy as you can. You'll have to fight me after you fight Vegeta."
"I know but I also have a chance to rest," Vegeto said with a smirk. "You have your round then we both get about 15 minutes to rest up. They want the last fight to be the best and the only way that will happen is if both fighters are at their max which means we can also use the Regeneration Tanks."
"I forgot about that," Gogeta said with a smile. "When we're at our max we can go all out and since those other aliens will probably leave when their fighters are out of the tournament we don't have to hold back. We still can't go SSJ though since Freeza's scouters can find us with that kind of power."
"OK I get how it goes bro," Vegeto said. "Remember though that I also have new attacks."
"I remember but I still have attacks of my own I want to try out," Gogeta said as the announcer had started speaking again.
"Now it's time for the semifinals!" the announcer yelled. "Will Vegeto and Vegeta please come to the arena."
"Well that's me," Vegeto said as he cracked his knuckles. "I'll see you after your match bro." Vegeto then flew over to the arena where he saw Vegeta already waiting.
"As you all know Vegeta and Vegeto were both in the same Clan," the announcer yelled. "This fight is inspected to be a good one since they probably know each others fighting style's. Now lets get this match started!" The announcer then threw a ki blast into the air. When it exploded, Vegeta launched at Vegeto with all his might. When Vegeta threw a punch Vegeto blocked it with ease. Vegeta eyes then opened wide as Vegeto sent a kick into his stomach sending him flying across the arena. Before he reached the edge though he disappeared.
'Vegeto doesn't even know that I'm toying with him,' Vegeto thought as he sent a back fist to his right. Everyone's eyes then opened wide as Vegeta had not only reappeared but was flying out of the arena this time. Vegeta had barley managed to stop himself and then a smile appeared on his face.
'I'll use my Gallit Gun on him,' Vegeta thought as he gathered all of his energy and reappeared in front of Vegeto. When he finished, he threw his hands in front of him. "Gallit Gun fire!" Vegeta yelled as he released the purple blast. Vegeta smiled as it hit Vegeto and he started laughing. "I win! Vegeto's dead!" Vegeta's eyes then widened as he felt two arms wrap around his head.
"Guess again!" Vegeto said as he tightened his grip. "When you fired that blast I let it hit me. I was tempted to go through the attack but that wouldn't be fun for me. It's time to end this match!" Vegeto then threw Vegeta into the sky and appeared above him a second later. He then used Vegeta like a volleyball softening him up. After he softened up Vegeta, Vegeto grabbed Vegeta by the ankle and threw him out of the arena. Vegeta was barley able to stop himself but he wasn't prepared for a blast Vegeto sent after him after throwing him making Vegeta land out side of the ring.
"Vegeto's the winner!" the announcer yelled as everyone cheered. Vegeta then was taken to emergency care since Vegeto had beaten him up badly. After a few minutes a Sayain ran to the announcer and whispered something to him. "Folks it seems the main event is next! The person who was supposed to fight against Gogeta dropped out when he saw Gogeta's last match!"
"It seems I only need to wait 15 minutes now bro," Vegeto said. "Then it's just you and me."
"True but remember no SSJ," Gogeta said as he relaxed.
"Yea I know," Vegeto said. "But remember bro don't hold back. If I beat you I want to beat you when you're at your best."
"Understood brother," Gogeta said. "After all this isn't just a sparring match this time and this is the first match where we don't have to worry about anyone seeing our power since this is our race watching us now."

After the 15 minutes passed, Gogeta and Vegeto were already in the ring. The announcer knew how powerful they were so he stayed far away from the arena so he didn't get hurt.
"OK it's time for the final round!" the announcer yelled. "Gogeta and Vegeto are both brothers and sparring partners so this is going to be the most intense round! The winner of the tournament will be rewarded with money and the trophy!" The announcer then pointed at a huge gold trophy that was huge. "Now lets get this final round under way!" The announcer then threw a ki blast into the air. When it exploded though Gogeta and Vegeto only smiled.
"Just to let everyone know this will be the most intense!" Vegeto yelled to the crowd.
"We both have been holding back but now we're going all out!" Gogeta yelled. Vegeto and Gogeta then started powering up causing the area to start shaking. While they powered up the crowd froze in shock as all the scouters blew up in their faces. As they finished, the battle began as they both launched at each other. As they were in each other's faces Vegeto threw a swift kick at Gogeta's head as Gogeta disappeared. Vegeto then jumped back as Gogeta reappeared above where he was and tried to kick Vegeto but Vegeto was out of range.
"I never knew Gogeta and Vegeto were even that fast without SSJ," Cirus said as he watched from outside of the arena.
"Remember they've been training for this," Carina said as she watched while resting her head on Cirus' shoulder. "They made sure that they were at their max."
"That might be true but we all know who's going to win this match," Seripa said with a smile. "It's going to be Vegeto!"
"I wouldn't bet on that Seripa," Takira said as she floated down from watching the fight. "It's going to be Gogeta since he trains hard and has more of an effective training than Vegeto does."
"Wanna bet?" Seripa said with a smirk. "If you're so sure then why not make a bet if Vegeto wins you'll have to try and get Vegeta on our team."
"OK as long as you do the same if Gogeta wins," Takira said as she smirked back.
"OK deal!" Seripa said as her attention went back to the battle. Her expression then changed as Vegeto hit the arena hard making it cave in a little. Vegeto then rolled out of the way as Gogeta's fist hit the spot where Vegeto was making it cave in more. Vegeto then threw a ki blast in Gogeta's face making Gogeta fly backwards from the force. Vegeto then threw another ki blast hoping the first blast made it so Gogeta couldn't defend against the attack. As it was about to connect the blast went into Gogeta.
"I should have known you would use your Choroniki Shield sooner or later," Vegeto said as he got up.
"Of course," Gogeta said as he landed back on the arena. "You wanted me to try my best."
"Well it's time for me to try my best bro," Vegeto said with a smile. "Choronic Shield!" An invisible shield then surrounded Vegeto.
"What's a Choronic Shield?" Gogeta asked totally confused.
"It's a shield that can counter yours bro," Vegeto said. "Instead of taking ki attacks though it takes physical."
"No wonder why you didn't want me to hold back," Gogeta said.
"Actually I just wanted to see who's stronger and with both of our shields up we'll see now," Vegeto said as he got into a fighting position.
"I don't think so Vegeto," Gogeta said with a smirk on his face. "If your shield is anything like mine it will break from a single ki attack."
"What do you mean!?" Vegeto asked in surprise.
"My shield breaks from a single physical attack so if you made your shield anything like mine it should break from a single ki attack," Gogeta said as he got into a fighting position like Vegeto did. Gogeta then threw a ki blast at Vegeto while Vegeto's guard was down. Vegeto had dodged the blast but his shield was destroyed in the process. "See what I mean Vegeto? We might as well fight without our shields."
"Guess you're right bro," Vegeto said as he disappeared and reappeared behind Gogeta catching Gogeta off his guard. Vegeto then threw a kick, which Gogeta dodged but like Vegeto's shield, his shield broke as well. Vegeto then went for a leg sweep but Gogeta jumped over it and kicked Vegeto in the head making him slide across the arena. Vegeto then stopped himself and gathered a bunch of ki into his right hand.
"Let's see how you like my new move bro!" Vegeto said as he threw a punch beneath him and released the ki into the arena. Gogeta though had already started coming towards Vegeto getting ready a ki blast of his own. When Gogeta fired though Vegeto jumped up and raised his right hand. Before Gogeta knew what was happening, he was surrounded in a weird ki barrier. Gogeta tried to get out of it but the barrier was already doing its job as it engulfed Gogeta in a powerful dead flame. After the attack finished Gogeta was on the ground breathing hard since he was badly burned and used a lot of ki to try and stop the attack. "I haven't given that attack a name yet but I'll think of something for it later," Vegeto said as he gathered more energy. Vegeto then held his hands out in front of him as he focused the energy. "Final Flash!" Vegeto then released the energy at Gogeta also making the whole area of the tournament shake.
'This could be my only chance to defeat him,' Gogeta thought as he forced himself to his feet and held two of his fingers out in front of him. "Choroniki Shield!" Gogeta yelled as he made his shield to try not only to defend but to go on the offensive as well. As the blast was about to hit Gogeta, his shield took the blast. Gogeta then focused the shield to put all the energy from the attack into his two fingers. "You might have weakened me but thanks to your blast I now have the energy I need to take you head to head! Mega Beam Cannon fire!" Gogeta then fired his beam into the center of Vegeto's Final Flash causing it to move back. As it was about to reach Vegeto he forced all of his remaining strength into the blast making it move back towards Gogeta again. When it was about to hit Gogeta, he forced his body to let out the rest of his energy causing the beam and the blast to tie in power. Before the two brothers knew it though the power of the beam and the blast caused an explosion that neither of them were able to block causing dust to rise covering them both. When the dust cleared away from Gogeta, he was on both of his knees breathing hard and looking for Vegeto. When the dust cleared from Vegeto though everyone looked as the right half of him was not only gone but he was unconscious as well.
"The winner of the tournament is Gogeta!" the announcer yelled as the crowd cheered. The cheering was cut short though as Gogeta passed out. Takira and Seripa instantly went over to Gogeta and Vegeto and carried them to where they can put them into Regeneration Tanks. After Takira and Seripa got them in, they relaxed next to the Regeneration Tanks waiting for Gogeta and Vegeto to fully heal.
