Chapter 2
Part 1
“My lord, we have arrived. We will be landing shortly.” The captain of the spaceship said to the figure standing in front of the view port.
“Very good. Has the ship that we have been tracking land yet?” the figure asked.
“No, not yet, Lord Vegeta.” The captain answered. “They are still on approach.”
“Are there any other ships on approach to earth?”
“No, we have scanned the planet several times and found none”
“What about the life forms of this planet” King Vegeta asked.
“Most are of the weak race called earthlings.” The captain replied. “There is two nameks, one is pretty strong. Two full blooded saiyans, believed to be your son and a third classed called Kakarott, and several half-bloods and less.”
The saiyan king sighed; he had not seen his son in years. By the sounds of things the half-bloods means the prince and/or the third class baka had probably had children on this planet. Not good, if his son wanted the throne he would need a full-blooded heir. Recent bad dealings with a half-blood had swayed the saiyans to re-class all non full blooded saiyans as third class. The thought of which made his blood boil
“Have you figured out the occupants of the other spaceship?”
“We have not been able to get a clear feed on of the ship, but it looks to be of Kydar design. We have gotten a faint reading of saiyan onboard. I would venture to say it may be Kyoshiro.”
“Fuck, the half-blood's whelp returns to haunt us. I thought he had been taken care of.” The king half yelled at the captain.
“So had the rest of us, my King.” The captain said bowing deeply.
“Keep a close eye, on that ship and report any new development immediately, no matter how insignificant.” The King said exasperated.
“By the way, how is our prisoner?”
“She is still unconscious.”
“Good, you may go now”
The captain bowed deeply before exiting the room. He walked steadily towards the bridge of the ship. He let out the breath that he wasn't aware he was holding. Talking to the King was to dance with death. Revealing that his arch nemesis's son was heading to the same planet as they were nearly signed his execution slip. He thought himself lucky that he made it out of there alive. As he reached the bridge, he paused, took a deep breath and schooled his face to show no emotion. He walked on to the bridge and looked around.
“Report!” he bellowed
“We will be landing in a couple of hours, as soon as we find a suitable place.” An underling answered immediately.
“Try to get as close as possible to the prince's perceived location as you possibly can. And keep an eye on out stalker.”
“Yes, sir.” They said in unison and then went back to their work.
Part 2
“What is the status on the saiyan space ship?” a young boy of no more than 6 asked.
“They are on approach to land, my lord.” An underling piped up.
“Will you stop calling me that, my name is Kyo.” Kyoshiro said scowling.
“With your father dead you are the lord now, lord Kyoshiro, and you will be addressed as such.” The captain of the ship said.
Kyo sighed; he hated being reminded of his late father's death two years ago. Though it was never confirmed that Lord Torankusu was dead it was believed by most. It was only told to them by their enemy, but he had not surface since then.
The captain felt sorry for the boy. Everyone in his life was disappearing. First his father was killed, his sensei had suddenly disappeared, and now they had good reason to believe that his mother was being held captive on the saiyan ship that they were tailing. The boy was thrusted into the position of leadership that his father had held. With his mother gone the boy had no known family, and at the tender age of six this was much for the young lad to have to deal with.
“How long till we land,” Kyo asked trying to shake the thoughts out of his head but to no avail.
“It should be a couple of hours.”
“Let me know when we do, please.” Kyo said before walking out of the room, tail swishing furiously behind him.
