Vegeta looked around the room. Plastered on the walls were banners with phrases that bought a lump to his throat. Balloons hung loosely from pictures and light fittings. Across the floor were remains of food and paper plates.
He didn't feel like sitting. He didn't know what to do, all he knew was he wanted life back to normal. Slowly he walked out of the living room and into the dining room. He loosened his tie and removed his jacket. He looked the room over with unseeing eyes.
And I don't know whether to laugh or cry,
I don't know whether to live or die.
He felt an emptiness burn in his heart. He berated himself for being so stupid over the years. For never showing any emotion, for never caring. Each room of the house bought memories of her back to him. She's been gone for less then two hours and already he felt alone and lost.
He took hold of pictures off of a table and glanced at it. There she was, smiling warmly with her arms wrapped around his neck. He felt his eyes burn as tears began to form. He knew he could never remove pain he felt but he knew what he could do, what he always did when he couldn't take something.
"Damn you Kakarott. Damn you forever having a son. Damn him for taking my little girl away from me."
And it cuts like a knife,
She's out of my life.
