This story takes place during the final battle between Goku and Kid Buu. They are both trying to push the massive Spirit Bomb to the other. Goku finally overpowers Buu. Unfortunately, Good Buu, being too close to Kid Buu, also perishes with Kid Buu. Every piece of their being gets destroyed. Goku, Vegeta, Hercule, Dende, and Bee are transporting back to Kami's Lookout where everyone is anxiously awaiting their arrival.
