Shooting and falling

A/N: Hiya! I hoped you enjoyed the prologue!

It maybe confusing but as always the puzzles all fit together in the end or before.

Chapter One

Female child narrators:

It's been ten long years with the saiyans' reign, today darkness has fallen, for now they had orders to pursuit and kill weaklings then take pure females for slaves as well as males with a strong ki signal…but I fear this is only the beginning………

SOMEWHERE

<Shield 78%> the computer spoke as a blue force filled surrounded a building.

"Great" Tori muttered as the group of 5 teens sighed leaning against the iron wall. Serenity shivered against the coldness gripping her slender tanned arms and her blonde curly locks fell upon her shoulders.

She and the others where grateful they had seen through the saiyans fourteen years before all this.

"Tori, I cannot take this anymore! Each day so many people die! They beg for their lives and still are killed! And we're here doing nothing about this! If I'm not caught soon... I think I'll kill myself!" Videl shivered her voice growing weak by the long days upon Earth. Well, that's how the days felt to them.

"Don't say that Videl!" Erasa snapped then cracked a smile, "Besides, we got this far, why not go the extra mile?"

"The ship should be ready within three days! I found a planet a week back that has some similarities to Earth! Nice people, the food's not so bad either!" Sharpener said fiddling with some metal and a screw driver.

"…but father... Lime and Angela… I couldn't-I tried to...but I" Videl paused a sniff emerging as she huddled to herself. She had rarely cried at her age, but now she was hardly herself at these moments.

The other teens looked down grimly at the leveled steel floor.

Videl was the one that kept them all sane, kept them believing and kept them together from killing the other.

But now… even she was losing faith. They all knew Lime and Angela weren't Videl'smost favorite people to be around let alone socialize with. They weren't more than classmates to Videl, but as a warrior of Earth and one of Earth's protectors she swore to protect the innocent!

Even if they weren't that innocent!

"Damn" Tori muttered slamming his fist angrily into the other in frustration, "Blast them! They're killing everyone who care and love about! Innocent people are dying and don't know anything of this… and killed by the fun of it!"

"… 'Love'? Tori I didn't expect YOU to use such a word" Serenity said with obvious sarcasm.

He glared at her grumbling, "This isn't the time dear sister"

"Hey, where is your pop guys? I haven't seen him" Erasa interrupted.

Both Erasa and Sharpener's parents where taken two days earlier on the run to the shield with them.

Grief stroke Serenity quickly as Videl looked up but…

"…Over here" the weak male squeaked. He was in a dark corner his cape and cloak draped over his body.

He was shuddering every now and then as he lay on the cold floor.

"B-But he was in East City, where those bastards attacked first" Sharpener exclaimed utterly shocked to see him.

"I had a stomach ache after eating Susie's cookies the day before" Hercule managed to say before two shudders came upon him.

"She's your worse Ex- girlfriend yet daddy!" Serenity shook her head sighing then Tori's stomach growled.

"Man, I'm starved! When'd dibber?" Tori groaned rubbing his stomach that growled once more to be fed, "We haven't eaten in three damn days! My muscles will starve" he sloped down to his knees along the wall.

"Those money tailed freaks had the world supply of it! There's only scrapes… if any" Erasa replied with disgust for the Saiyans quite evident.

Erasa began to sulk as did Tori about starvation and worries of dying before their primes or of a horrid tan.

"I'll get some" Videl interrupted confidently, "I'll be glad to get some! I'll be happy to get a few measly grains"

Videl then pushed the exit button hearing Erasa trying to protest but her words got grumbled up with the pain of her stomach's need for food.

Letting a large enough doors for them all but too small for any Saiyan expect their children to pass through. Her ebony hair blow wildly in its' pigtails the same as did her white long T-shirt but her black shorts. She is a true heroine, and a great leader when she wanted to be, and a sympathizer and concerned at other times.

She smiled to then and gave a soft slow wave; "Take care… just in case this is our last time seeing another…" then the door closed leaving the rest in darkness. They sat rotted to their spot awaiting her arrival for which Tori and other others hope. Tori hoped as well that Videl will keep her ki signal at bay to an animal's ki… for her safely and theirs.
