Bra stared at her baby boy; she could not believe she had just given birth to him. She knew that Ethan would be better off with Gohan and Videl; still she could not help but feel a bond with the child.

"You're going to live with your Daddy." She whispers to Ethan, as she pulls him close to her arms and holds her. Bra knew she said she did not feel love for her son; however, she did. She knew the sacrifice she was making in order for her child to live a happy life.

Bra knew she only had a few moments with Ethan, she knew that if she was going to go through with this adoption, she would have to do it soon, or she would not be able to.

She looked down at his perfect face, she sighed as she begun to sing him a song, the first and only song she would sing to him as his mother.

Midnight moonlight,

Shining through the curtain lace

Paints a perfect picture,

After the song, Bra had burst into tears. "Take him." She told Gohan. "Just take him please." She handed their son to him and turned the other way.

"Bra?" Gohan was concerned; he knew that giving up her son was hard for her, even though she said it is what she wanted.

"Just go Gohan, just take Ethan and leave." Bra said, Gohan left as Bra broke down into tears.

Meanwhile…

"I have to find away to get near Pan, her father and uncle are watching her like a hawk." Trunks thought as he walked along the corridor of the hospitals maternity ward.

Pan meanwhile was trying to figure out her own way to be with the love of her life. "I need to get to him; I need to feel his arms around me, his lips upon mine." She said as she paced back and forth, she looked over at her uncle who was keeping a watchful eye on her.

"Damn Uncle Goten, I need something to distract him, so I can at least see Trunks." Pan then thought for a moment. "If only he had a girl..." Then it dawned on her. "Marron, why didn't I think of this, surely Marron would help me and Trunks." Pan went to a payphone and dialed Marron's Cell phone.

"Hello." Marron answered on the fourth ring.

"Marron hi, it's Pan, I need your help." Pan said.

"Let me guess you need I to distract Goten so you can be with Trunks, am I right?" Marron smiled.

"Yeah, so can you?" Pan asked.

"I'm on my way to the hospital now; I wanted to see the baby anyways." Marron said, she wanted Pan and Trunks to be together.

"Thanks, Mar, you are a lifesaver." Pan smiled as she hung up the phone with Marron.

"Soon Trunks, soon we will be together." Pan smiled to her, she was glad that she had some who were on the side for her and Trunks.

As Trunks was thinking of how to get to Pan, he heard the voice of his over bearing mother. "Trunks. Sweetheart, it's not healthy to be so obsessive over trivial things."

Trunks closed his yes and scoffed, "Mother, I'm not being trivial, I just want to be with the woman I love, is that so hard to ask."

"Yes, when said woman is only sixteen and thirteen years your junior." Bulma tried to convince Trunks repeatedly that he and Pan just would not work out. "Trunks please try to see it from everyone else's view; you and Pan are a disaster waiting to happen."

"No, that's where you are wrong, see Pan and I will last a lifetime, you know why because we love each other."

"Trunks, there is a lot more to relationships then just love, it's all about compromise and trust."

"Mother, I know that, and so does Pan."

"She's still young Trunks, when are you going to get it through your head, that she will stray, she hasn't yet experienced life fully to appreciate what you have to offer her." Bulma explained to her son. However, he was not listening, no he was determined to be with Pan, and being with her, he would.

Bulma sighed. "Trunks, I'm just looking out for you."

"Mother, I'm twenty nine, I don't need you looking out for me." Trunks snapped. He was getting pissed off that no one wanted him and Pan to be together.

Just then, Marron came up to them. "Good Evening, Bulma. Trunks."

"Good Evening Marron, how are you doing?" Bulma asked.

"I'm fine, mother and father would like to speak with you, and they are downstairs."

"I suppose your mother and Chi-Chi are causing a scene." Bulma laughed.

"They probably are, I wouldn't put it past either of them." Marron smiled as Bulma left Marron and Trunks to talk.

"So what's up Ronnie?"

"I got a call from Pan?"

"You did? What she say?" He wondered.

"She's asked me to distract Goten, so that you can have sometime alone with her." Marron smiled. "Trunks I'm all for you and her being together, aside from Goten and me, I had never known two people who loved each other so much, that's not including either of our parents."

"You are the best Ronnie." Trunks gave her a brotherly peck on the cheek, as she went to distract the over protective uncle.

As Marron was doing that, Trunks snuck right past Goten, to where Pan was.

"Hey." Trunks smiled.

"Trunks, oh my god, I can't believe this." Pan smiled as she gave Trunks a hug, he wrapped her into his arms as he held onto her tightly, and Pan smiled and gave a thumb's up to Marron.

"I can't believe that Marron came through for us, she's such a great friend." Pan said as she gave admiration to her Marron for being such a good friend.

Trunks however was to busy just looking at the beauty Pan possessed to notice what she was saying. "Pan, do you realize you have got to be the most beautiful woman in the world, and I'm not just saying that, 'because you are the love of my life, I actually mean it."

"Trunks." Pan pulled herself to him, as he brought her into a sultry kiss.

"Let's go somewhere." Pan nodded as the two snuck out of the hospital.
