We know why Piccolo acts so strange around Kitty, but what about her? Does she love him, too? Whatever happened to Celena?
Kitty hesitated. Even sending Celena to live with her Lican Sister Fiora hadn’t been this hard! Quietly, she stepped into the room. He looked so handsome...for a brother. “Raditz?”
“Hmm? Oh. It’s YOU. Come to kill me again?” She slapped him. He clutched his stinging cheek. “I’m sorry.” he muttered. “That was rude. What do you want?”
“I need to tell you something, so you’d better sit down.” He perched on the edge of the bed. “I don’t know how to put this, so I’ll just say it.” She took a deep breath. “Raditz...I’m your sister.” Silence. Raditz’s eyes nearly popped out of his head. Finally, he recognized her.
“K...KATNIP?!!” he stuttered. “But...your ship went to Terran-sei, and Frieza destroyed it!”
“My ship was hit by a meteor, and the navigational system went haywire. I landed on Platyao instead, and came here when Go...er...Kakkarot was eleven Earth years old. I created the vortex leading from Earth to Aniria, and I’ve been skipping back and forth ever since.” Raditz was distraught. He’d raped his own sister! The sister he’d worshipped since he was born!
“Katnip...” he whispered. “Why didn’t you tell me?” She shrugged.
“I thought you were one of the men who worked for Frieza willingly. If he found out where I was, Earth and Aniria might have been history. Not to mention I thought you’d kill Krillin.”
“What? Why would I kill your Mate?”
“Uh...Raditz...do you really think that I’d have let you live after the first time you so much as flirted with me if I had a mate?”
“So he’s not your mate.”
“Right. I practically RAISED him. Why would I want him as a mate?” Raditz sighed and walked over by the window. It was sunny outside, defying the dark clouds forming within his heart.
“I won’t apologize...” he said quietly. “There’s no excuse for what I did. And besides...how could you forgive me? There’s no point in apology.” Kitty walked over behind Raditz, her tail twining carelessly around his.
“Raditz, I’m only your HALF-sister.” she soothed. “I know you’re sorry, and I forgive you.” With that, she leaned over and planted a soft, chaste kiss upon his lips. When she pulled away, he gazed at her in sorrow. He truly did love her...if only she weren’t his half-sister! He walked to the door. “”Where are you going?”
“Home.” he answered quietly. “Back to Frost-sei.” With that, they flew back to the human world in silence. In silence, they flew to his ship. “By the way...” he said as he climbed into the round space pod. “When I return to the mother ship, they’ll come after you.”
“They?”
“Nappa and the Prince. You’ll have up to three years to train for defense. If possible, don’t kill them. They are the only true Saijin males left.”
“All right, brother. I’ll tell the others.” That said, the door closed, and the ship rose into the sky. Within moments it was gone.
MNK:Okay, I admit. That story was kinda depressing. But the next one is a Hell of a lot better...
Chapter 8: A Rude Awakening
Goku had been dead for a month, when Raditz stepped naked from the shower. Thanks to the magic of the dragon balls, he’d been brought back that morning. Goku had requested that they not bring him back for at least a year so he could train with the great Kaio-sama. Raditz had just finished dressing, when he heard a knock at the door. “Come in.” he grunted.Kitty hesitated. Even sending Celena to live with her Lican Sister Fiora hadn’t been this hard!
