Chapter 6: Talk of Moving out PT 2

DESCRIPTION: In the beginning of this chapter I'm going to back track a little and since I really didn't set a time frame for this story to take place I'm going to say that the discussions of these two chapters will take place at around 7:30 p.m. don't know why I just think it's a good time. CHAPTER 9 or chapter 10 will be the revelation chapter. I'll leave that up to you guys just means I have to make chapters 7 and 8 longer than the others have been.

AND HERE WE GO

As soon as Pan and Tony were out of sight Bra headed towards her car so she could head home. After climbing in, buckling up and finishing revving the engine, which she did just for the sheer pleasure of it, she left the theater and headed towards Capsule Corp. And for the first time since she left the theater she checked her watch only to find out she had 15 minutes before she was supposed to reach home. "Shit," Bra said out loud and decided to punch it up to 80 since she was running late. Luckily she was on an open stretch of road and not a cop for at least 10 miles, which was 5 miles ahead of where she had to turn off.

When she pulled into the driveway she was let out a huge sigh of relief as she was glad to find out that she was still five minutes ahead of schedule. She cut the engine got out and headed into the house to eat, and boy was she starving since she hadn't eaten since breakfast. When she entered the house she was immediately attacked by a huge mass of gray and brown fur. "Well hello to you to Maverick," she gasped out as she was licked by her huge German shepherd. "Maverick get off her now!" her father yelled from the dining room. The dog ceased his attack and let Bra get up and followed her to the dining room.

"Evening everybody." She said happily to her family as she sat down at her seat while the dog went to sit next to her father. "And where have you been all day?" her father asked in his usual suspicious tone " First I went to that new music store with Pan and we both applied for jobs there." Bra answered. "Why'd you apply for a job aren't you working at Capsule Corp?" Trunks asked through a mouth full of chicken. "Well not till fall so I thought I'd make some extra money till then." She answered while serving herself.

"Okay, so after that then what'd you and Kakarotto's brat's brat do?" Her father asked "Then we went to lunch where Pan pretty much ate everything she could get her hands on, then we went to see Men In Black II." She replied and started to dig into her food. But the thought of what had happened in the theater crept up in her mind as she remembered the soft touch of her friend's hand on her breast.

She smiled to herself as she remembered the brief encounter. Why the hell am I smiling? She thought to herself until her mother's voice got through to her. "Bra, Bra? Did you here me?" Bra was taken away from her thoughts as she answered her mother's question "Huh? Sorry I was just thinking about something. What'd you ask me." Her mother looked at her a little curiously "I was just asking if the movie was worth seeing or not." Bulma replied "Worth every penny of the ticket price it's way better than the first movie." She answered still thinking about the events of the afternoon.

Her mother had a look of worry on her face "Are you all right sweety." She asked and wasn't surprised when her daughter replied "Of course I am why wouldn't I be?" Bra told her mother. "Oh no reason you just seem a little spaced out at the moment." Her mother said still looking worried. "Well now that you mention it there is something I need to discuss with you and dad."

Vejitta `s face lit up with a look of fear "PLEASE GOD LET HER NOT ASK FOR ME TO TAKE HER SHOPPING!" he cried as he looked to the sky both hands clasped together as if in prayer. Everyone else at the table burst out in laughter at Vejittas newest outburst.

"No daddy, I'm not asking to go on a shopping trip." Bra said as soon as she stopped laughing "It's about the other reason for my getting a job." Her parents and brother as well as dog looked at her with extreme looks of wonder on her face. "Well what other reason can you have for getting a job?" her brother asked as soon as he could talk. "Well I've been thinking of moving out and getting a place of my own."

"NO! NO! Absolutely not! No way you're to young!" were the words that came out of her fathers mouth as soon as she finished the sentence. "Calm down Vejitta lets give her a chance to explain herself." Was her mother's response to her father's outburst. As soon as he calmed down Bulma continued "Now Bra, sweety why do you want to move out so soon you just graduated from high school why so soon?" Bulma asked her. "Well number one it's not like I'm going to be far away I'll still be in town. Number 2 I just want to spread my wings a little bit and experience life in the real world." Was the answer Bra gave her parents. "Oh! Well those are good reasons to move out." Vejitta said skeptically " and are you getting a roommate because even if you work full time I doubt that job pays enough to cover the rent of a good apartment."

"Of course not daddy," Bra replied to her fathers sarcasm "In fact I already had a roommate in mind," Bra continued "and they already agreed to move in with me provided they pay half the rent and utilities."

"Really?" Her mother asked "Who?" "I already know who it is I think." Trunks replied. "Shut it Trunks," snapped Vejitta "so who is it." "Pan." Bra said simply.

"NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT!" Vejitta shouted again "You are not living with that low class brat!" "Why not?" Bra wondered. "Vejitta can I speak to you in the kitchen?" Bulma said sweetly "Not now woman!"

"Vejitta. In the kitchen." Bulma said sternly but Vejitta just sat there defiantly "NOW!" now although Vejitta is one of the strongest fighters in the universe, there's something about a pissed off wife or girlfriend that just scares a man.

Against his will Vejitta got out of his seat and headed towards the kitchen followed closely by Bulma. Bra and Trunks knew what was going to happen and they both knew that Vejitta would let Bra move out.

In the kitchen.

"Bulma I don't care what you say she's too young to move out." Vejitta barked at his wife as soon as they entered the kitchen. "I know, I know." Bulma said "but we both knew she was going to move out of the house someday. And besides she'll be with Pan so it's not like she won't be protected." But still Vejitta refused to give up "I don't care." He replied "she's still my daughter and she's a princess she should stay with her family. It's saiyan tradition."

Bulma came up to her husband and put her arms around him and told him "You're forgetting that she's my daughter also. And that she is HALF HUMAN, and it's human tradition for children to move away from their parents and start their own lives." She could see it in Vejittas face that he knew she was right but he needed a bit more persuasion

. "And if you do this let's just say your night life will become a lot more interesting." She said into his ear "But if you don't it's the couch for a year." Vejitta finally broke and said; "All right you win. But the interesting stuff starts tonight." He said with a smile and kissed his wife. And before they went to tell their daughter their decision Vejitta pulled Bulma close to him and kissed her deeply. Bulma moaned into this but broke the kiss after a while and looked at her husband in shock. "What was that about?" She asked him breathlessly. "I just wanted you to know how much I love you." Vejitta said with a wink and headed out.

Back in the dining room.

Bra and Trunks' eyes never left the door into the kitchen until their father and mother came back into the dining room.

Before Bra could ask Vejitta spoke "Bra after careful discussion your mother and I have decided to let you move into an apartment with Pan." Vejitta knew his daughter would be excited but the scream that came out of her mouth was enough to make his eardrums explode. "YES!!" Bra screamed at the top of her lungs "Thank you Mom!" she shouted as she gave her mother a hug. After that she ran over to her father "Thank you daddy!" she shouted as she gave him a hug strong enough to surprise him before running of to call Pan.

In Bras room.

Bra ran into her room grabbed her phone and was about to push in Pans number her phone rang and she knew it could only be one person. "Hello?" Bra spoke into her phone but ended up holding it away from her ear due to Pan screaming into the phone "Hey Bra guess what?! My parents said YES!!." Pan continued to scream into the phone. "Well that's good because my parents said yes also." Bra spoke back into the phone. "Really?" Pan said with disbelief. "Really. And get your ass over here early tomorrow so we can go apartment hunting." "All right later." Pan said back and hung up.

Now finding the apartment was easier said than done. In fact the girls had spent the first part of the morning looking through the paper circling possible places to live and found the perfect place.

The apartment was 2 bedroom, 1 bath, cable hookup, as well as Air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen. So as soon as they signed the lease and paid the security deposit and first 4 months rent they got their families to help move their furniture in which was a simple task and spent their first night in their first apartment infront of the television with a bottle of champaign.

The two girls raised their glasses and said "Cheers." And blessed their new home

All right that's it for chapter 6 next chapter will contain pan and Bra realizing their feelings for each other.

Now for chapter 9 I'm going to need you guys to review because so that I can know which song to use when Pan expresses her feelings for Bra. The songs I have chosen are savage gardens truly, madly, deeply, Michael Jackson's song speechless, John Mellencamps Ain't even done with the night. More songs in chapters 7.
