Chapter 2

A Dream

Two had past and Pan had avoided Trunks only seeing Bra when she was sure that Trunks was gone. `God why does my heart hurt not seeing him it was a mistake anyway wasn't it.' she was laying in her favorite hill about a 10 miles from anything at all it was the center of nothing no one ever came here to see her it was her own spot. Right then she could feel Bra coming closer to her she was probably coming to tell her it was time to leave for the island and that everyone else was ready they were going to put her stuff in with Bulma and Chichi little ship thing and fly out. She expected Bulma's little ship thing to be a little ship thing, instead it was a huge ship thing they had three stories one with food (a/n wonder why??) And the next one with furniture, and the next with bags most of them were Bra's and Bulma's the rest was everyone else bags and capsules for transportation. Pan put her things in the back and stepped back out to fly there then Bulma came out after her and began talking to her, "Are you okay?" she smiled and put her arm around her shoulder, she was like a mom to her even though she already had one her mom was always at work or on trips or talking to her dad to notice her in her opinion she didn't like her at all, but now snapping back to current events, "Yeah of course I am why won't I be?" she tried to smile, "because you have almost,.....well lets put it this way you've been avoiding someone at our house and it's not hard to tell." she smiled then got out of Bulmas embrace, "I have no clue of what your talking about but I better get on my way we'll talk later promise!" and got up in the air with Bra and flew off after the others, who had already left earilier. "You do know where we are going right?"she asked Bra who just smiled back."maybe" and they flew off into the horizon. They flew for about five minutes over land and got to the sea. Then they speed up the others were ahead and the island before them. "How far is this island, Bra." she turned her head slightly, " `bout two hours." then Pan Speed up and Bra followed. When they finally caught up they were the last ones there it seemed that they had taken the long route. "Hey I thought we were following these guys!?" she smiled and a sweet drop appeared at her head, "well.... we were until I got lost and had to find them again. Hehehe."she had a nervous laugh. She couldn't stay mad she looked around and Bulma was right it was

beautiful.

`Where is Bulma?' she thought. Then went to pick up her stuff, which had been left in the sand along with Bras and Gotens and Trunks bags. She walked pasted Trunks only looking at him through the corner of her eye. She picked up her stuff and turned to Bra who was trying to figure out how to get all her stuff she decided to ask the boys. "Boys you can get this stuff," she said smiling then turned to Pan, "come on I got my swim suit on already lets go to the mansion and let you get your swim suit on while the boys get my stuff to my room." she smiled and they both took off there shoes and headed to the mansion the boys began to pick up th rest of the stuff. The girls laughed all the way. They entered the house it was about forth the size of the CC. "Well lets go get the two best rooms," she smiled. Pan got the biggest one and Bra got the one with the biggest closet right beside hers. She walked in to see something she had never seen before. "Wow." she said spinning around it had high ceiling and a master bath and in it a huge black tub. With black sinks and stuff. The walls had stars on it. The bed room was neat to! It had pictures of the Z fighters everywhere, except they where small and her parents weren't anywhere probably not born yet. There was goten though except he was fat and there was a girl who looked like Bulma and a guy with long hair. There were pictures everywhere then she saw one it was one of trunks and her. It was on her night stand table they were on the beach and he had her on his shoulders and then there was another all of her and him there was one of her in Trunks arms. She remembered this it was when they Had gone to the beach last year and he was going out with Marron but still took the pictures. There was five the third she didn't remember. They where little she was a baby and he was helping her learn to walk he had his hands out just in case she fell and then the next one was him giving her a kiss the last one was of him and her when she was about seven and she was blushing as he gave he a hug it was her birthday party that was her gift she remembered it like it was yesterday. She smiled and looked at ¶he pictures then noticing that there was a card she opened it, it was from Bulma it read:

Pan,

Dear I know there is something wrong but I need you to remember the good times with trunks maybe this will help. Remember I'm always here for you always and this island will always be here if you every need to get away. Please soon tell me what is wrong, your like my daughter. Please have fun this is your vacation me and the parents are going to stay out of you and the others way and if you run out of food we have soon extra here (if goku doesn't find it) well that's all I have to say have fun tell the others not to bother us.

She smiled she mouthed thank you then ran to the bath room to change then before she was finished there was a knocking at the door, "come in." she thought it was Bra coming to tell her to hurry up but when she got out of the bathroom trying to tie her swim suit and bumped into Trunks the last person she wanted to see. She almost dropped her top from not being able to tie it she caught it in time.

"Let me" she said smiling she turned around and lifted up the two strands. "Ok just not to tight." he acted like he had done this a million times. He tied it perfectly then rubbed his hand down her back to the edge of the string. "Um... well thanks.' she smiled she looked into her eyes looking into them as if searching them for answers. She looked at him about to cry she knew that nothing could develop from this. She couldn't help it but a tear fell from her eye and he lifted his hand up wiping it away, "Trunks this can't be Marron is my best friend I can't!" she gave him one last look before running out of the room to Bras room before she stepped in she whipped her tears away and knocked there was no answer, "Bra are you in there?" there was still no answer she must have already left she was tempted to go back into her room but scared of who might still be in there she walked past the room to go out the front door only stopping for a towel. She got out there to see that trunks was not there but Goten and Bra where. She ran down there as fast as she could, "wait for me!" there was a voice from behind her it was Trunks in his well, Trunks and he had a towel under his arm. `What is he planning.' then she got a chill going down her spine as though someone was there other than the four of them but who this is a privet island who else would be there? She shrugged it off thinking it was only her imagination she kept telling her self.

~Trunks thoughts~

`well Pan what do you expect me to do nothing just because of you no way I'm here to have a good time!! Maybe your right to give me that stare but it's not going to ruin my day evcen if we can not love like I want to-' he felt as though something was watching him he saw nothing from the others so he brushed it off and ran to the water, he was going to dunk Pan into next Friday after all he owed her at least that.

~Pan again~

She was running into the water fast as she could then flew above the water and pretended to be walking on water and she danced a little. Then her feet was pulled down by Trunks on one side and also by Goten on the other. Then noticed Bra had a new water proof camera and was filming away they all waved at her and Pan then was yet again pulled down this time by not neither Goten or Trunks and she knew it wasn't Bra she was filming. The air left her and her vision was turned black but she saw a face right before she was pulled down he had gold hair and Green eyes and was definitely a boy. She woke up later to see Goten above her shaking her. She had know idea what had happened just the face of the boy. "Where am I?" she spat out water. And took a deep breath. "God what happened?" she said rubbing her head she had a major headache. "We should ask you the same thing?!" she saw Bulma she then noticed she was still on the ground and Vegeta was there muttering "stupid brat almost got yourself killed if it was for Trunks, Baka!" she coughed up some more water. "What I was pulled down and ah" she put her hand around her neck felling a bump. "What the hell is this?" Bulma lifted up Pan's hair and looked then looked at Vegeta he came over and she felt his hand on her neck. The bump was a mark of some kind and Vegeta knew what it was obviously. "What is it you guys?" she turned around pushing there hands off. For once he showed emotion on his face he was surprised and angry. "What tell me?" Bulma bent down and looked at her, "lets take a walk? Okay?" she got up and they began walking down the beach. Bulma began talking to her about when they made Trunks and how that night he gave her a mark on herneck in the same spot she lifted up her hair and showed her. "Well this mark means that I have a mate and you have the same one on your neck but from who I don't know?" Pan stopped in her tracks and looked at her, "well it's from a someone like you grandpa." she knew what he was she smiled then pasted out again to see his face again but this she got a better look it was Trunks? Then she woke up on the beach. This time she coughed up some water and felt her neck nothing? "That was weird?"she sat up and looked around Trunks was the only one there. "What Pan?" she got up on her feet and backed away, "get away from me now Trunks Briefs. Get the hell away from me," she fell down. Trunks looked at her confused. "I told you this couldn't happen." she got back up and took to the air and flew as fast as she could she could feel sudden strong hands on her hips then saw Goku. Then they were on the ground in a meadow. "Gramps how dare you I was on my way home." he smiled. "No you aren't going home yet any way now power down and tell me what is going on with you!?" she sat down. "You were the one watching me earlier." he nodded, "well I really like Trunks but I can't ever date him because of Marron and also because he is Goten best friend. I really like him some time it hurts, I like him so much. Gramps do you get it I love the prince of all sayijins I love him so much!!" she fell turned and put her head on a rock and cried. Goku sat down and let out a little laugh. "Why are you laughing Gramps!! can't you see that I'm in pain!!" she got up yelling at him as he continued to laugh, she hit him. "Well Pan you see I remember some else taking me here and saying she love a prince too! Maybe you should talk to Bulma I mean your as close to her as you are to.. Well Bra maybe even closer."she smiled now she got why Bulma got what she was going through. She stood up and so did Goku she wrapped him in a big hug and kissed his cheek and flew off Goku fell down and watched her fly away. She went to where she sensed Vegeta and then looked for Bulma. "Bulma!?" she walked into the parents house it was Half the size of the CC she walked in to she Bulma and Chichi. "Hey Chica can I talk to Bulma. Alone."
