Herro and Pan sat next to the river, and waited for the sun to dry them. Pan looked at the crystal clear river water.
"Hey, Herro?" She asked.
"What?" He asked.
"How come the water is so clean?" She asked.
Herro got up and walked to the edge of the water. He looked at the river, and found what he was looking for. Herro slowly raised a hand into the air, then quickly struck the water. A fish came flopping out of the water. It was blood red, and had gold fins and gold whiskers.
"This, is what makes the water so clean. This is called a Ronzuko Fish." He told Pan.
Pan looked at the fish. "Ronzuko fish?" She repeated.
"Yeah, the're a ton of these guys in this river, and can only be found in Teigra." Herro said, throwing the fish back in the water. "See, the Ronzuko fish eat microscobic germs and organisems that are in the water. And the're so much of the fish that the'll clean the whole river completly. And when the're arn't enough germs to eat the'll just eat bugs, smaller fish, and some amphibians. But not alot. See, the're about the size of a cat fish, but the're throuts are the size of a pea. So they can really only eat small creatures. But what I find intresting, is that when they catch smaller fish, frogs, and some bugs the'll tear them apart with there tiny sharp teeth." Herro informed.
Pan was impressed. I guess he wasn't so stupid. Then Pan got an angery face.
"Hey! If these fish were in this river, how come we had to risk our lives fighting that giant bird lizard thing?!" She asked angerily. Herro was silent, aparently in deep thought.
"I forgot." He said simply. Pan fell over.
"Idiot!" She yelled. Herro picked his ear from the scream.
Pan growled at Herro. Then she remembered the giant bird.
"Hey, Herro. How come you know so much about the fish and bird thing?" Pan asked. Herro looked at her.
"Well, I used to spend alot of my time studying the animals of this land. I watched there behaverour, studied what they normally ate, there suroundings, and why they were there." Herro said looking at the river. Pan blinked.
"What do you mean, 'why they were there'?" Pan asked.
"Each animal in Teigra, serves a speceil role. Think of it as the circle of life. The Rozuko fish eats small creatures, and germs in the water, to it's safe for other animals to drink." Herro said.
Then a large white bird flew into the river. It was the size of an ostrich, and had a golden beak, and large red wings.
"And that," Herro said pointing at the bird. "Is the Red Winged Teigra Crane. It's a cousin of the Whooping Crane, it eats small fish, frogs, and snakes. But it's most favorible meal, is Ronzuko fish."
The Crane silently walked in the water, poking it's beak in the water a few times. Then it grabbed a Ronzuko fish with its beak, and swollowed it whole.
Pan looked at the bird, it was very pretty. Pan would choose this bird over the lizered one ANY day.
"Ronzuko Fish, are located almost everywhere in Teigra. And it's up to these birds to eat 'em. 'Cause if they don't then the number of Ronzuko fish in Teigra will get out of hand. The fish will keep eating bugs, and frogs, and other fish, untill the're exstinct. And with no more prey for the Ronzuko fish, the'll starve and die out." Herro said looking at the bird.
Herro and Pan continued to gaze in awe at the Crane. Then Herro got up.
"C'mon. We need to go." He said to Pan. Pan nodded.
Herro and Pan flew across the river, and soon were flying across the canyon once more. Soon they reached the edge of the canyon, and to the vast oceon of sand. Herro and Pan landed.
"Pan?" Herro asked.
"Yeah?"
"Arnold gave us Capsules, didn't he?"
"Oh yeah!"
Pan opened up her small backpack and searched for the capsule holder. Pan took out a small plasic container and opened it up.
"So, what's in there?" Herro asked.
"Hmm... We have, a few cars, a small plane, junk, stuff, more junk, more stuff and oh! A small house!" Pan said smiling.
"Take out a car."
Pan took a small blue capsule, pushed the button and threw it. The was a 'boom' sound and pink smoke. The smoke faded revealing a small pink flying car.
"... Pink?" Herro and Pan said in unisen.
Pan and Herro (regretfully) hoped in the flying car. Then were silent for minutes, not moving.
"Don't you know how to drive this thing?" Herro asked Pan, who was in the drivers seat.
".... Not really." Pan said sweat dropping. Herro growled, trying his best not to yell. "But my dad gave me a small lesson on how once." Pan added.
Herro cooled down a little. Pan pressed a button, and the car raised up, then she flipped a switch, then the car went forward at a very high speed.
Herro quickly fastened his seat belt, and grabbed his seat. Pan looked over at Herro.
"What's wrong?" Pan asked calmly.
"SLOW DOWN!" Herro yelled.
Pan did so, and Herro relaxed.
"Jeez, I don't know what the problem was. We fly faster than that." Pan said.
"The problem is, when we fly we're not in danger of crashing into a boulder and exploding into a thousand peices!" Herro yelled.
They spent most of the car ride arguing. They would argue about one thing, then switch to another topic, and argue about that. Hours later...
"No!I do not use gell on my hair! It just sticks up like this naturally!" Herro yelled pointing to his spiky hair. "How the hell am I supposed to get gell, in this waste land anyway?!"
"Oh yeah right," Pan started not looking where she was driving. "I bet-"
"LOOK OUT!" Herro yelled pointing at a large purple scally hide in front of them.
Pan screamed and tried turning the car, but the car hit the hide, doing flips in the air and landing on the ground exploding. Luckly Herro and Pan jumped out of the car, and landed on there feet, in front of the recked car.
Pan and Herro were silent, looking at the hide and not moving an inch.
"What's that?" Pan finally asked.
"How am I supposed to know?" Herro asked grumpily
The large hide quivered, then began to move into the sand. Then a large purple and blue snake raised from the sand and hissed at them.
It was at least twice as big as the one Herro killed ealier. (see chapter one) Its eyes were bright red, and the peuples were cat like and grey. It had long horns on top of its head, that made it resemble a horned viper. It looked very dangerous.
Pan and Herro got in deffenseve positions, and the snake stuck its in the air, tasting it*.

*Authors note: U know that SSSSSS thing snakes do. >.>

"You two... are not human, nor demon." It spoke. It had a large deep voice, but it it also had somthing of a lisp.
"I've heard of a man of fire, from my brothersss and sssistersss. A powerfull warroir that glowed like the ssssun." It hissed. "Would one of you, be that warroir?" It asked.
It licked the air again. "Aaah... one of you IS part human. But both of you disssier battle. Hunger for it." It said.
"Who are you?" Pan asked.
"My name isss Nyoka. What'sss yoursss?" It asked.
"Pan."
"Herro."
"Pan, Herro. Do you wisssh to fight me?" Nyoka asked.
Pan and Herro were silent.
"Do you wish to die?" Herro asked angerily. Pan looked at him like he was crazy. The last thing she really wanted to do, was make that thing angery.
Nyoka laughed. "No. I wisssh to live on forever. Look closssly into my eyesss!" It comanded.
Pan and Herro looked into his eyes.
"You're blind." Pan said.
"Yesss. I went blind yearsss ago. But shortly after I became blind, I learned that I have two other powersss.
The firssst one I dissscovered, wasss that I can sssense creaturesss body heat. I sssee them move without using my eyesss. And, for sssome reassson, I can sssee there attacksss coming at me before they even happen." Nyoka laughed.
Pan and Herros eyes widened. "You can see an attack before it comes at you?" Pan asked in awe.
"How is that possible?" Herro asked.
"Do you ssssee the black dot under my left eye?" Nyoka asked.
Pan and Herro looked at Nyokas face. And sure enough, a black dot was under his eye.
"Yes." Pan ansered.
"This dot, this mole, gives me this ability." Nyoka said, his mouth turning into somthing like a smile.
"What about your seconed?" Herro asked. Nyoka was silent.
"My eyes. Even though I am blind. I know my eyes are red."
"So?" Herro asked.
"My eyes used to be green." He said. Herro blinked. "When I fight my blood rushs behind my eyes. My ssstrengh and ssspeed incress dramaticly. I become more powerfull than I ever felt, when I could sssee." Nyoka explained.
Herro was silent.
"Herro... you are the warroir of the sssun, arn't you?" Nyoka asked. Herro nodded. Nyoka smiled.
"You two... would you like to have thessse abilitysss?"
Pan and Herro looked at eachother. Then Herro walked to Pan.
"What do you think, Pan?" He whispered.
"I don't know. But I feel like I can trust this guy." Pan said.
"Well... He is very differnt than all the other snake demons I met in the past."
"You want those powers?" Pan asked.
"Hell yeah, but what's the catch?" Herro asked.
"Ask him." Pan snapped.
Herro approuched the demon. "What's the catch?" He asked.
"The catch is, that one of you can only have one of the two powersss." Nyoka said. "And to get them, you have to fight and kill me."
"But you said you wanted to live forever." Pan stated.
"I do, but if you fight me and win, you two will gain one of the two powers. And one day you will find two othersss with the potential to use these powersss. And when you do, you will give them the power and tell them of the blind snake demon of Teigra. This will continue for eternity, and in time I will become a legened." Nyoka said smiling.
Pan and Herro looked at eachother, then nodded. They both got into there deffensive postions once more.
"Alright, that heat senseing power sounds neat. I would like that one." Pan said grinning.
"And I'll take the other one." Herro said smirking.
Nyoka smiled. "Good... Then fight for it!" Nyoka yelled.
Herro and Pan jumped at Nyoka and Nyoka hissed loudly.

I'm very sorry for the way Nyoka talks. -.- Those multiple 's' make it a little hard to read a word. >.< And it was annoying to write too. So I'm sorry for that. And I also apologize for any or all mispellings. I hope you look forword to the next chapter! :D The next one's going to have a HUGE fight scene with Nyoka. >w<
