Herro was searching the desert in the night looking for some kind of doctor. Maybe there was one in Teigra. If Arnold and Alexa could survive in Teigra, maybe other people can too.
Herro had been flying in the desert for more than twenty minutes.
"DAMN IT!!" Herro screamed.
'What was I thinking?! Coming out here had to be the worst idea I ever had!' Herro thought looking at Pan.
Pan had either fainted or she fell asleep, if either one she wasn't doing any better. Her panting had gotten worse, along with her other simptoms. Herro was kicking himself for bringing her outside, in the middle of the desert night.
Herro flew to the ground and landed on his feet, carfull not to disturb Pan. Herro looked at Pan once more, and growled at his stupidity.
"Damn it..." Herro hissed quietly. "Pan...!" Herro whispered feircly.
'She's going to die...!' A small voice in his head told him. The voice sounded dark and sinester, and surprisingly femine.
'Good ridance, she was only making you weak...' It said again harshly.
"But... Pan... she..." Herro whispered weakly.
'She's a fool! The minute she came into Teigra, she made her own destiney! If she wasn't going to die one way it would have been another!'
"No, Pan's strong..."
'No she isn't! She so weak. She had displayed weakness all her life!'
Herro was silent.
'Living with her family, playing with friends, the things you could never do. Such thing makes people weak, vunerable... but you know this.' The voice said. If the voice had a face, it would be smiling.
Herro's eyes widened. "What...?" He asked.
'You should know. All the men, woman, and children that had familys. They were weak, and died pathticly... and by your hand.'
"No..." Herro whispered.
'Oh... you don't remember do you? You must remember! Even if the scenes are scattered and lost, you still remember how it felt.' The voice whispered.
"Shut up...!" Herro gasped.
"The feeling of there bones being crushed in your hands, there warm blood on your face...'
"Shut up!" Herro yelled.
'The amazing sansation, when you transform. The seemingly endless energy flowing out of you like water, and the intense desire to kill.'
"SHUT UP!" Herro screamed, falling to his knees still holding Pan in his arms.
'Leave her! She is weak... leave her to die in the desert!' The voice commanded.
Herro was shaking, and his eyes were wide in fear. Thoughts and countless debates started to flood his mind. Should he leave Pan for the demons, or continue to look for help?
Herros shaking became worse, and the voice in his head was yelling at him to leave Pan.
Herro started to lie Pan on the ground, and tears started to form around his eyes. But before Herro let go of her, Pan grasped his hand.
"Herro..." She whispered.
Herro froze. The voice and the debates had vanished as soon as she said his name.
"Herro..." Pan whispered painfully, tighting her grip on his hand.
Herro pulled Pan close to him, and held her.
"Don't worry Pan... I'll help you." He whispered in her ear.
