The crowds filled the stands, eagerly waiting for the next battle of the titans. The stadium was fixed and looked new and the announcer got up to face his veiwers. "Good afternoon!" he began. "As you can see," he gestured to the ring around him. "The fighting ring was fixed and it's better than ever! Now please welcome our next fighters!" The crowd roared and clapped loudly.
Inside the fighters tent Hiro quietly awaited. Next to him sat Pan, who, was very nervous for Hiro and a little for Vegeta too. Hiro doubted Vegeta far too much to fight him seriously as he himself said to Pan at one time, "He's nothing but a Saiyan past his years." And Pan had a feeling Vegeta underestamaited Hiro too much too. Hiro wasn't anywhere near as strong as Vegeta was, but he could be a formattable opponent if he used his brain for once.
"Vegeta and Hiro! Please come to the ring!" the announcer commanded. Hiro stepped forward, and walked to the ring next to the Saiyan Prince. They both entered the ring with smug smirks on their faces and took their stances. "Any last words?" Vegeta asked.
"I won't need any." Hiro ansered.
"Begin!"
Hiro flew to the other side of the ring, throwing numorius punchs and kicks at Vegeta. Vegeta dodged and blocked, avoiding all of the younger Saiyans blows. Hiro didn't rest and kept sending his attacks at Vegeta. Vegeta blocked and pairied Hiros punchs and kicked his open stomic, the powerfull impact threw Hiro back.
Pan was biting her thumb in nervousness. "Hiro won't win if he keeps this up." she thought, watching Hiro get up in pain and continue to kick and punch recklessly at Vegeta.
Hiro was panting as the fight went to twenty minutes in leangh. Vegeta walked slowly to his opponent. "Tired already? I wasn't expecting you to have your toung hanging out so soon." Vegeta mocked.
"Shut up!" Hiro yelled, bringing his hands forward. Hiro focused his energy to his hands, and brought forth red hot energy to his palms. Releasing the energy it turned into a fireball, and was sent straight for Vegeta. Vegeta hit the flame and sent it upward, exploding in the sky. Hiros eyes were wide in shock, and his anger and frustration hightened. Vegeta looked at his hand with a look of surprise, his hand was scorched and filled with pain. But being the proud saiyan worrior, Vegeta showed no pain, only surprise. "Hiro!" Vegeta called out suddenly.
"What? Giving up? Too much for ya, loser?" Hiro mocked.
"You're the one who's losing!" Vegeta yelled in anger. "Now anser my question! Who taught you that fire technique?"
"What does it matter?"
"Just anser the question!"
"Okay!" Hiro ansered in frustration. "Uh... I don't know." he said shrugging his shoulders.
"What?"
"I don't know! I woke up one day and I knew it. Why do you want to know?" Hiro asked. Vegeta didn't anser; his posture went from being deffensive to a thinking stance, making Hiro think he was just ignoring him.
"What's Vegeta doing?" Pan asked the bandaged #18.
"Hiros fire technique resembels that Red womans fire attack." 18 informed.
"Huh?"
"Vegeta asked Hiro who taught him that attack, Hiro said he didn't know."
"You can hear that?" 18 nodded, not surprising Pan at all. Then Pan started thinking herself. "It must have been that demon woman, that attack does look painful. But how can Red do it?" Pan thought, looking at the white egnigma standing in the dark. "She looks so familier... I know I've seen her before! But where...?" Pan kept searching through her memorys, and suddenly she felt like her mind was being blackened, and then she felt dizzy. Pan placed a hand on her forhead, and sat down. Her sight became hazy and bright, the orange floor was turning white. The loud noises of the crowd was begining to fade, and her body started to feel numb.
"You alright?" 18 asked.
"I... feel weird." she ansered, her voice becoming hoarse. 18 looked at Red, the woman was stareing directly at Pan, her eyes glowing golden in the darkness. 18 lifted Pan, for she could not walk, and carried her out of the tent and into the stands outside the ring. "Pan?" 18 asked. Shaking Pan a little. Pan's color was begining to come back, and soon everything started to come back to normal.
"What happened?" Pan asked in a daze.
"I don't know, but that woman... somthing about her isn't right."

Vegeta kept firing chi attacks at Hiro, all the while the younger warrior jump out of the way. Hiro growled, having enough of the old man he transformed into his Super Saiyan form and charged at the prince. Vegeta didn't have any time to dodge, and was hit in the jaw and kicked in the stomic. Hiro rested after his onslaught and wipped the blood odd his face. Vegeta emerged from the dirt, his hair blond and eyes green. After spitting out some blood he continued the fight of the super saiyans. After what seemed for hours, the fight ended. Hiro was booted off the stage landing on his face in the grass. After the announcer made it official, Vegeta walked up to Hiro (and being surprisingly nice) help him up and gave him a pat on the back for a good fight.
Hiro and Vegeta entered the tent and was served with some food and treatment. Pan (feeling much better after eating some ice cream) and 18 walked into the tent, Pan walked over to Hiro to give him some comfort, Hiro meerily brushed her off and said, "It's just a stupid tornament, anyway." Indicating, he was still being sore for losing.
Soon after, the next fight was announced. Pan was to fight the all too familier Red. They walked the long stone steps to the ring and went to oppisit sides, waiting for the announcer to make his call. "Begin!"
