Chapter 1: Preparations

*Trunks: "Ahhhhhh! Father, I can't believe you could mess up like this, on all days!"

*Vegeta: "What are you rambling about this time? Bandana on too tight?"

*Trunks: "C'mon dad. It's Thanksgiving, and we're hosting the party for everyone here at Capsule Corp., and THIS dinner is the BEST you could come up with?!"

Vegeta: " Its not my fault that that woman had to run off at the last minute. I swear she's never organized. She thinks she can buy all the food and cook it all in the two hours before all the chumps arrive. She shouldn't have spent so much time in that wreck of a lab. Besides, it looks fine to me."

*Trunks: "How do you think a hot dog is going to feed a huge group of people!? *sigh* Where is mother when you need her?"

*Trunks: "Oh great, now some guests are here, and we don't even have a suitable meal..."

*Goku: "Hello, the Son Family is here!"

*Trunks: "Hi Goku, Gohan, Goten...glad you could make it. Although, I'm gonna warn you in advance, I think our party is gonna stink ."

Vegeta: "Shutup brat, don't start with me. I'm a Sayian warrior, darn it, not a cook."

Goku: "Chi-Chi went to go see if Master Roshi was coming, so she should be here in a couple of minutes."

*Trunks: "Well, looks like some people are missing..."

Trunks: "Dad go get it. They're YOUR guests."

Vegeta: *deep grumbling*"

Vegeta: "Why if it isn't...err...all the other chumps (Vegeta makes a mental notice of Krillin, Piccolo, Chi-Chi, and Yamcha.)"

*Krillin: "Gee, nice to see you too, Vegeta."

Chi-Chi: "Sorry I'm late Goku. I went to see Master Roshi and he didn't want to come. I think he had some, you know, SPECIAL company anyway."

Goku: "Its Ok honey. Sounds pretty typical. Speaking of it, where are all the other ladies?"

Chi-Chi: "Since yesterday was Maron's birthday, she went shopping with her mom, Bra, and Videl. I couldn't believe that the mall was actually open on Thanksgiving. I think its open year round. Anyway, Pan doesn't care too much for shopping, so she didn't really want to go. The others should be joining us later today."

Goku: "And what about Tien and Chaotzu?"

Yamcha: "They got really sick and had to stay home. I think they both got a really bad cold."

Goku: "Oh, well that's too bad. Now lets get everything started!"
