THAT OLD FEELING

By Papa Bear

Evening is now upon us, and the next scene opens up showing the entire Burgoyne Mansion lit up. Everyone is seen either sitting down and chatting away or up and dancing. Scene changes. We now see Yamacha, standing next to a topiary sculpture, happily looking upon the several people that are on the dance floor. Bulma comes up beside him looking a little fatigued. Yamacha turns to her with a smile.

"Come on, admit it," Bulma looks at him slightly shocked, silently praying he didn't notice anything she wouldn't want him to know. "Isn't it great not having that pent up any more?" Bulma mentally sighed and gave him a slight smile and joined him in looking upon the many dancers.

Scene changes again, this time we see Vegeta back in his original spot at the food table. Suddenly Maron comes around the corner, gasps and then latches herself onto his muscular arm.

"Oh, you poor thing are you alright?" Vegeta opened his mouth but was cut off. "You don't even have to talk about it. I just hope you gave right back to her as good she gave it." Maron leaned her head on his shoulder as she ended her sentence with a sigh. Vegeta's only response was a smirk of satisfaction. But, in his head he said. `Oh I know I did.'

The dance music stops and an elderly man dressed in an all white tuxedo that almost perfectly matched the color of his hair, stood upon the platform were the orchestra players were seated. He approached the mike and began to speak.

"May I have your attention please?" He pauses for a slight moment before addressing the crowd again. "The Bride's parents. Where are the Brides parents?" Bulma reluctantly raised her hand. "Ah, the lovely mother." We now see Vegeta raise his hand (also reluctantly). "And the handsome dad. Alright, why don't you two little love birds show us what it's all about."

Scene changes over to where Ken and Bra are sitting down. "Ken, I thought you told them to not to do this?" "I thought you did." "Oh no!" Bra groaned and brought her hand to her face. "Well wait a sec Bra. Let's just wait and see, surly they won't do it a second time."

Scene changes back to Yamacha and Bulma.

"Go ahead," Yamacha whispered, "I want you to." Bulma kept her anxiety under control as she slowly walked to the center of the dance floor. As she made her way to the center, she saw Vegeta walking towards her. Luckily for her she managed to keep her blush to a minimum. Once they both reached their destination, Vegeta placed his right hand upon her waist, and his left hand held her right as she placed her left hand just below his shoulder blade and they both started to slow dance.

After a few seconds of silence, Vegeta decided to speak.

"…How are you?" he spoke low enough so that only she would be the one to hear him.

"Well um, I'm just completely horrified. How are you?" she asked

"Very upset. Why the hell did we do that?"

"Well I did have a few bloody marries (A/N: is that how it's spelled?) earlier."

"Alcohol has nothing to do with this, never has never been."

"Then what was it?"

"…I guess it was just some old feeling lurking around down there and just decided to…pop up?" he said with a little chuckle.

Bulma giggled slightly at the comment, but compose herself. "That's not funny. We just committed adultery." She looked around a bit before stating. "I don't' think anyone suspects."

"Are you kidding, it's unthinkable."

"And now the Groom's parents." The man on the alter spoke out.

"Well we got away with it. So why don't we just get through this dance, go home, and think nothing of it." Vegeta suggested.

"Good idea." Bulma said with a little disappointment in her voice.

"Well it was great though wasn't it?" he ask with a small smile.

She giggled a little before answering. "(Giggle) It was very good."

"You always were a little minx." he said, turning his smile into a sly smirk.

"Ooh, so you miss me that way?" she asked with her own smile.

Before Vegeta could remark, the man in white spoke up again.

"And now, the newly weds."

Soon Bra and Ken were on the dance floor, slow dancing with her and Ken's parents.

After taking a quick glance at Bra, Vegeta turned back to Bulma.

"Look, to be honest, I don't know what I'm going to do when this dance is over."

"Oh God, I feel the same way." Bulma said with a generous amount of angst in her voice. She was filled with despair, not over the fact that she and her ex had a grand pleasure ride in her SUV, but over the fact that she would soon have to leave his grasp.

"Let's have one more dance then."

"No we can't, they'll know."

"…This is it then."

"It has to be." Bulma said with tears forming in her eyes.

"Well, I can defiantly say that I won't be forgetting this any time soon." Vegeta gave her a reassuring smile to confirm it.

"Same here." She said as she gave him a sad smile. They both stopped dancing as the music came to a slow stop. They stared into each other's eyes for a brief second.

"Goodbye Vegeta." Bulma whispered.

"Bye Bulma." Vegeta whispered right back.
