Disclaimer- I only own Geta & Natalya... how many time's.
A/N-Hey... okay I know that it's been a while but I've had alot on from moving house and suffering from a mild attack of Swine Flu i've been pretty busy but i promise to make it up to you guy's... just tell me how n_n.
Also for those who don't know and like Inuyasha I have a fic going for that too. It's basically a Sesshomaru fic so Check it out if the mood takes you.. anyway on with the show.
Chapter 5- The Pain Of Sacrifice
Natalya had never felt so content in her whole life as she did at that moment, she didn't dare open her eye's for fear of losing this feeling. She just lay there thinking on her perfect life and how lucky she was, but some thing's never last as the need to relive her self of the glass of water she drank the night before surfaced. After a few minute's of trying to supress the urge she groaned and gave up opening her eye's to unfamiliar surounding's.
'Hey this isn't my room, where the hell am I?' she thought confused, that was until she caught the sight of Geta sitting at his desk with his feet up, book in one hand and head resting on the other as it was proped up on the desk. Silently she stood up intent on investigating his unusual position but her persistant need was protesting so so left for the bathroom first. Once relived she made her way over to Geta making sure that she was extra quiet due to his well tuned hearing, she removed the book from his hand and curiously stared at the cover,'Dracula'.
It made her sad to know he was reading stuff like this, it made her think of the lonliness he must feel and before she could stop herself she paced the book down before brushing his bang's from his face, suddenly a hand shot up to grab her's and her eye's locked with clouded ebony,
"What are you doing ?" the cloudyness of sleep left Geta's eye's replaced with blazing fury,
"I...was...uh...." she didn't even know what she was doing when he caught her but she didn't have time to think on it. Geta's eye's had turned bright, piercing red and a growl left his lip's, suddenly Natalya was filled with fear and as she recalled her nightmare made a move to escape but his hold on her arm just tightened and he growled again, before she knew what happened she found herself up against a wall with her arm's held above her head and a nose burried in her hair, needless to say she was beyond terrified. Natalya was then shocked by the animal that held her when he whined and spoke to her,
"Please... don't fear... me... Nat" the last word made her open her eye's unaware that she had closed them and what she saw made her fear die, Geta's eye's had retured to normal but she could see him strugling within himself to contain the beast the had moment's ago posesed him,
"Run... get my father and Run... NOW!!" he released her arms and she really flew from his room to get his father. Natalya sensed Vegeta in the GR and hurried as fast as she could.
Vegeta felt Natalya coming at top speed and went to find out what was going on but what he saw made him very worried, she was dressed in some of Geta's clothes and had a look of fear and concern on her face,
"What's going on, where is the boy?!",
"He was in his room last... he lost control... for a few minnutes he lost control... I made him, he..uh..he was fighting himself when I left his room, you have to help him please." Vegeta barley let her finish before he was off to his son's room but when he got there what he saw startled him.
Geta was standing still, shivering with tear's in his eye's and blood... his blood dripping from various part's of his body but was now fully in control of his action's, when his father walked in he knew what was coming. Vegeta walked forward a punched his son hard in the face knocking him into his book case,
"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING LETTING THE GIRL IN HERE WITH YOU ?!?!?!" Vegeta roared, anger burning in his eye's,
"I'm sorry... I just... she had a nightmare and wanted to come in here with me.."
"SO YOU JUST LET HER GET HER WAY, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU BOY, YOU COULD HAVE KILLED HER ?!?!?!"
"I know." Geta said standing up to lock gaze with his father before walking past him to head for the kitchen,
"I'm going to get a drink." Vegeta watched his son walk off to calm his urges and decided he should tell Kakarott about tis incident, with a sigh he took off to wake up the younger Sayian.
Geta sat once again staring at a pint of blood only this time he had heated it up just like the night before, he didn't stare long though before gulping it down, closing his eye's to savour the taste. When he was done and he opened his eye's he was greeted by the sight of Natalya standing in the doorway staring at him with concern, he couldn't help but notice the bruises on her arm's and winced before he turned away,
"Geta.. I.." he cut her off before she began,
"Don't. Just stay away from me Nat I'm too dangerous to be around, please stay away I don't wanna hurt you anymore" Geta stood up and left to talk with his father, he needed to be punished. Geta didn't get very far before Natalya appeared in front of him,
"I can't stay away from you Geta and I think you need me." she had a look of conviction on her face but that did not deter him,
"Well you have to stay away and what do you mean I 'need' you ?",
"Did you whine before or after you regained control ?",
"What ?" he asked irritated and confused,
"Before you told me to run, back when you were smelling me you whined like a dog, no offence." "None taken, I mae alot of noises when I'm like that but I don't remember whining so it must have been when I was out of it. Hold on you think because I whined that meant something ?" the look on Natalya's face was quite scary and Geta knew she must have got that from Chi Chi.
"As a matter of fact I think it does. You could have killed me in a nano second but you refrained from doing so and I don't think that you or your animal side want's too." she looked very pleased with her self that was before Geta burst out laughing at her,
"Nat...I wanted to kill you so badly, like nothing before.", Geta continued his hysterical laughter that was until...
"Then why didn't you ?", it was barley a whisper but he heard it and what she did next shocked him, she started walking toward's him, no fear in her scent and she kept walking until there was only a breath between them,
"If your so determined to kill me then do it now... you can't though can you because you want something ealse from me.", for the first time ever Geta felt fear, real fear. Back in the room when he attacked her he was desprate to kill but when he smelled her scent it calmed him and made him crave at the same time, that was until he smelled her fear and it disturbed his beast so much that it gave back the control so he could tell her to run, but it was furiously raging inside of him when the scent left with her, so much so that he hurt himself and infact his wound's were still bleeding right now.
"You... soothe my hunger and make me crave at the same time but what I crave from you I don't know... and I don't want to know either. You must stay away... your father is coming along with mine I assume they want explination's.", just as Geta finished Goku and Vegeta appeared with Goku pulling Natalya behind him while Vegeta looked at both of the kid's before leading them to the dinning room to sit at the table.
Natalya was more than a little anxious right now, Vegeta was pacing at the opposite side of the table from her and Geta who was 4 or 5 seat's along from her, Geta was sitting looking calm & collected while both Vegeta and Goku glared at him and it shocked Natalya to see her father glaring at Geta and when he turned to her she saw the blazing, barley controlled fury in his eye's.
"Why was the girl in your room boy and why is she wearing your clothes ?" Vegeta's voice was deathly calm and Goku was begining to find it hard to control his anger, Natalya was relived when Geta sighed and spoke calmly and all eye's landed on him,
"I was... eating in the kitchen last night when Natalya came in, She was terrified from a nightmare she had and asked if she could sleep in my room with me. I tried to deter her but she refused and I gave in, She is wearing my clothes because she got such a fright from her dream that she woke in a cold sweat and I offered her a shower and she wasn't willing to put dirty clothes on her clean body, also her scent was masked by mine when she put them on, that is why she was in my room and wearing my clothes.".
Natalya had never noticed how Geta's voice glided over each word and sounded so soothing and she was so focused on him that she nearly missed his father's next question,
"Why did you attack her ?" Natalya started at Geta also wanting to know why he snapped today, she saw his calm facade falter slightly before he answered,
"I was asleep at my desk, I fell asleep reading a book and I felt her hand brushing at my bang's... her wrist was right at my nose... I could smell her blood and my contol snapped. I was having problem's yesterday too at controling my hunger around her.", the look of pain and confusion on his face matched her's. Natalya didn't mean to hurt him, when they were kid's they had alot of physical contact, hell she had even bled in front of him usualy during sparing matches but then again Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Goten and Trunks where always near by. Natalya felt even worse when she remebered that they.. no he..he was always watched as a child at it only seem's to have gotten worse as the years have gone by.
Natalya was so engrossed in her memories and pity that when her father spoke she nearly jumped ou of her skin,
"Why didn't you come to us Nat or go to your brother's room, you know how dangerous Geta is and..." Natalya was furious at her father and cut him off quickly,
"Geta is NOT dangerous, he had no intention of hurting me, he even told me that my scent soothe's him." the look of shock on Goku and Vegeta as they turned to look at Geta was priceless but it soon faded as Geta spoke,
"No. I am dangerous and I told you it soothe's my hunger but leaves me craving something ealse from you.",
"Okay that's it, I've heard enough Vegeta. Natalya go and get ready and I'll wake up your mother and brother, we'll leave before everyone ealse wakes up. Vegeta will deal with him." Natalya flinched at the disgust in Goku's voice as he spoke of Geta and she knew better than to argue with her father, he rarley got angry but now he was furious. Natalya stood and was about to leave without defience when she caught sight of Geta's eye's, they betrayed his calm looking face; she saw pain, anger but most upsetting was the defeated look in his eye's and with new foud determination she walked over to Geta and bent down to give him a hug, making sure her lip's were even with his ear she whispered to him,
"Please meet me at our old sparring ground; Midnight" she felt Geta nod against her neck and pulled away before leaving the room with a raging Goku hot on her tail.
Goku had queitly woke up Goten & Chi Chi and was waiting for his daughter at the Capsule Corp. entrance the fury still raging through him at her stupidity.
Natalya was close to tear's as she changed and packed her thing's but then she saw Geta's loner outfit and picked up the shirt smelling his addictive smell covering it and it instantly calmed her, she couldn't help but shove it in her bag before zipping it up and throwing it over her shoulder. After she had paked she silently made her way to the entrance to meet up with her family and leave, the last thought she had as she left Capsule Corp. behind was 'Until tonight...' and she couldn't help but smile as her father took his family home the same way they came. 'Geta'.
