Bulma growled at the dragon radar in frustration and threw it down. “Eight years I've searched for that damn thing, and I just can't seem to find it. All we need is one! We have the rest.” Trunks sat down with his elderly mother and smiled gently as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

“Don't worry, Mom. You'll find it eventually. I know it's here on this planet somewhere.” He soothed. “Besides, with Pan back from school, we'll have another person helping us.” She leaned her head on her son's broad shoulder and sighed plaintively.

“Earth is so big.” She lamented.

Trunks chuckled and hugged his mother. “Don't worry. I promise. We'll find it.”

“Did you tell your father about Diana's idea to find it?” She asked tiredly.

“No, but I don't think her idea will work if the ball is shielded.” Trunks answered. “To be honest, I don't really trust her that much. She's different, and she has something wrong with her head. She seems crazy to me some of the time.”

Bulma considered her son's words, and she sighed. “Yes, but we've looked to everyone for an answer, and she seems to be able to pull theories out of thin air. She's a genius.”

“Yes, Mom.” Trunks agreed as thought began to sink into his azure eyes. “She is definitely that.”

If Pan had been able to voice her thoughts the moment that she saw Diana in her black leather pants and crimson corset laced with black trim, she would have made Gohan blush to the roots of his hair. She smiled brightly as they got out of the car at the club, her eyes sparkling in excitement of the fun for the night. “I wonder if Alex is here tonight. He's always so nice to me.” Pan thought out loud.

“How do you know Alex?” Diana asked sharply, getting the girl's immediate attention.

“Oh, well, I met him through Goten once here at the club. He's pretty cool.” Pan shrugged and walked on, leaving Diana considering the words for a minute. Alex was not the type to doddle with innocence, and so she wondered what other intentions he had towards Pan.

As they entered the club, Pan was immediately enveloped in the arms of a giant bouncer who dwarfed her in his embrace. “Oi, Pan-san. Where have you been? We thought Trunks-san and Go-kun had locked you in the basement to hide you from everyone!”

Pan laughed lightly and kissed him on the cheek, causing Diana's eyes to narrow dangerously. “Oh, I've been at school. No worries though. I'm on summer break now.”

“Good. Don't be a stranger then.” He let her go and nodded in respect to Diana who rolled her eyes at him and passed him in a huff. “Jealous bitch.” He mumbled to himself.

As they sifted through all the people at the club and the smoke, Pan let loose a cry of happiness when she spotted Andrew and Alex sharing a hot kiss at a corner table. “Alex!” She screamed over the pounding music. The young man looked up, and his eyes brightened. It seemed to Diana that Pan had this affect on everyone.

Innocence was indeed the scourge of humanity, Diana noticed. It caused people to either be stupid or to completely disregard reality, and the reality was that no matter how a person denied the ability to hate, it would always be the greatest pentacle of human sin. Pan wrapped her arms around Alex, and he smiled down at her. “Pan-chan, my sweet blossom, what are you doing here?”

“I'm here with her.” She motioned to Diana happily, and immediately, Alex's eyes widened. A moment passed between the two people that had Pan nearly afraid that Alex was going claw Diana's out. He glared at her in a seeming warning, and she met the gaze with an equal amount of contempt. He finally released the warning glare and gazed down at Pan.

“Care to dance, Pan-chan?” He asked. She bobbed her head excitedly and turned to Diana.

“Wanna come?” She grinned.

“No, I'm going to order a tonic and hang out with Andrew for a while.” Diana answered easily. “But you have fun.” She let Pan go, and instantly, she watched the other patrons of the club. Everyone's eyes seemed to have migrated to the beautiful creature that twisted happily on the dance floor to the pounding, upbeat bass of a popular song with Alex.

It was odd to her that people found themselves so obsessed with beauty. Half the fairy tales in the world wouldn't have been so popular if the princesses in them were ugly, and it would have been a great difference in humanity if they had looked at the heart of a person before they looked at their face. Instead, however, humanity demanded that beauty be the most paramount attribute, and Diana could almost swear that some religions even taught that beauty would ensure a way into the heavens.

As Pan danced with Alex, she lacked the vulgar, disgusting sexual moves of the rest of the people on the dance floor, instead, she attracted the gaze of all the men and women in the club with smooth flowing movements that betrayed her natural combative grace and ease with which she moved in the air. Diana received her tonic and sat next to Andrew who was still staring at Pan.

“She's Goten's niece, and she's so damn beautiful.” He commented. Diana nodded absently to the annoying voice and continued to gaze at Pan with a slight amount of possessiveness in her eyes. Obsession was not something that had come into her mind, but as she watched the slight creature move with grace under the dancing lights with the heart pounding bass, she saw how easily one could fall into obsession over such a delicate, rage driven creature.

The simple enigma of Pan was that while she fed upon her rage to drive her to a power that Diana had never witness, she knew no hate. It disgusted Diana slightly that the girl could wield both innocence and rage so easily, and so she began to contemplate the differences between hatred and rage. Rage was not the same. Diana had no rage within her, and in a way, she wondered what it must be like to be filled over with such a powerful emotion, but then, she decided that indeed, hatred had to be much more powerful. Sin was always more powerful than innocence.

As the song ended, Diana stood to get another tonic, and Pan wandered off the dance floor with Alex and smiled at Diana. “I'm gonna run to the bathroom.”

“Ok, that's fine.” Diana answered with a gentle smile. Her kindness to Pan was making Alex's skin crawl oddly, and he watched as Pan pushed her way through the crowd towards the bathrooms, and he turned back to Diana with a heated gaze.

“She is not for your games, Diana.” He warned. “She has nothing to do with this world of ours.”

“Why, Alex, dear, you doubt my good intentions?” She asked demurely.

The answer was firm and without frills. “Yes, I do.”

****************

The moment that Pan exited the bathroom, she found a tonic shoved into her hand and she looked up to three very handsome boys about Goten's age. They all seemed kind, and she studied them for a minute before smiling at them. “Hi.”

“Hi. We were watching you dance. We were wondering if you'd have that drink with us.” The tallest of the three said. His green eyes sparkled in mischief and good humor, and Pan was disarmed. She took a long sip of the drink and shrugged her shoulders.

“Ok, I'll have a drink with you.” They all smiled at each other as they led her out into the club. The tallest of the three seemed the nicest of them, and Pan was quite taken with his beauty. While his features bragged him to be nearly feminine in appearance, his deep, smooth voice suggested otherwise. Short, blonde hair was spiked to perfection, and he was well dressed. An exchange student maybe.

The other two were decidedly Japanese, but they both were good looking as well, and Pan found herself at ease, oddly enough, with the boys. When they first asked her to dance, she declined, explaining that the smoke was getting to her head. She glanced over at the table where Diana and Andrew had once been sitting, but they had disappeared. She finally relented and conceded to dance with the charming blonde.

As she twisted her body on the floor with her usual grace, the lights seem to bleed into each other, making her head spin, and her body turn to mush. She found herself nearly in a dream as she moved, and she wondered to herself if a simple tonic could make her feel so drunk. When the warm, hard body of the blonde pressed against her back, she wanted to fight him off, but she found herself falling into rhythm with his chest pressed firmly to her back.

When he began to move her off the floor, she tried to stop him, and immediately, she felt that something was wrong, but to her shock, she found herself unable to ignore his advances. As the twisting bodies of club patrons passed her by, she found herself shoved outside a door into the cool air of the night into an alley behind the club filled with wooden alcohol crates. The stench of urine and vomit filled her sensitive nose, but she couldn't summon her strength to go back into the club.

“Oh, I bet you want this, don't you.” He whispered, pushing her harshly against the wall.

“W-what's wrong with me?” She whimpered quietly.

“I just gave you a little something to relax so we can have some fun.” He answered smoothly. He leaned forward and pressed his lips to her throat, and she tried to push him away. To summon a ki blast. To use her hands to fight him, but instead, she found herself helpless at his questing hands that were pressing against her breasts painfully.

The door to the club opened, and through her distorted vision, she recognized the two Japanese boys who seemed to approach her in a dream and grab her wrists. She cried out dully and found herself shoved into the crates by the door onto her back. She screamed once more as loudly as her voice would allow her, and she closed her eyes as bile threatened to rise in the back of her throat and pour out onto the ground.

She heard the door of the club open again, and immediately, the pressure was released from her, and she was pulled into the familiar arms of Alex. She whimpered in relief, and he looked down at her, running his hands through the soft silk of her hair. “It's ok, Pan-chan. It's ok.” He soothed. He looked up to the furious three boys who were being held off by Diana.

If one had seen Diana in this state at any other time, there would have been pause for alarm because of the wild, incomprehensible insanity that seethed from her consciousness. Her eyes seemed nearly inhuman as she glared at the boys. She turned her eyes to Alex and motioned to the head of the alley. “Get her out to my car. Make her drink water until she throws it up. She's been drugged. I can smell it on her.”

“Oh, bullshit, bitch. She wanted this.” One of the Japanese boys growled at her. It was his mistake, he realized, as he found himself backhanded into the ground by the furious woman. Alex did as he was bid, and as soon as he was out of vision with Pan safely in his arms, Diana turned on the boys, and her rage was released.

“How DARE you touch something that belongs to me, you pathetic pieces of shit?” She demanded. She cornered them in the back of the alley as they backed away from her, and fear slid into the emerald eyes of the blonde. This woman was insane. Any person could see that, and even as he coward into the shadows, she advanced on them until they were flush against a wall with no where to go.

“Get fucked, you crazy bitch!” He snarled at her. He stepped forward, and he raised a hand to hit Diana, but in a flash of wind, she had moved so quickly that he hadn't seen her. Inhumanly possible. She wrapped her fingers around his bicep and smiled, time stopping for the man as she locked her insanity filled eyes with his. As if time restarted, she yanked on his arm with such strength that his body didn't even jerk with the force, and the boy screamed as the appendage ripped off his body and landed on the asphalt of the alley. The boys shrieked as their friend bled in squirts out onto the ground, and he whimpered and fell as the blood surrounded him on the ground in a deep pool.

The sheer power that began to seep from her body made the other two cower back against the wall and sob in terror. The asphalt began to melt with her steps, her eyes suddenly a blazing solid emerald with no pupils as she stepped towards the boys, and the long ebony hair that had been restrained now cascaded down her shoulders, standing on end from the beautiful energy that swirled around her like a hurricane. The injured blonde boy on the ground behind her whimpered for mercy, and she stopped, and turning towards him, she smirked.

Diana leaned down, immaculately beautiful in her insanity, and she smiled fully at him with an expression that made the boy's heart sink into hopelessness. “Wanna get off on pain, bitch? Watch this!” She moved with the grace of a mountain lion with inhuman strength and the speed of lighten as she rushed towards the shadows, the pavement cracking and giving way underneath her power.

She suddenly attacked one of the smaller Japanese boys, her hand at his throat, and in an instant, the boy was throatless, and he gurgled in attempt to gain breath as his body died. His blood poured down over his white shirt, and Diana only made a snort of disgust as she threw the chunk of flesh to the ground, her emerald eyes flashing to blue only for an instant before she turned to the corner.

The only unhurt man left was huddled in a corner, begging for forgiveness, but Diana didn't feel in the mood to be forgiving. She grabbed the last boy, and shoving him against the wall, she unbuttoned his pants while he shivered and sobbed in fear.

“Do you see this?” She grabbed his penis inside of his pants and sneered. “This will never touch another woman again!” She stroked it, smirking as his body responded to the tingling energy and constant stroking. He cried out in frustration, and Diana suddenly laughed in delight. “Oh, what's the matter? Scared of a girl?”

With that, she ripped his manhood from his body, leaving it hanging in a bloody mass, only attached by the mangled flesh of his scrotum. A bloodcurdling scream sounded from his throat, and she smiled at him in satisfaction. “Do you like getting off on pain? Does it turn you on to hurt helpless girls?” She shoved the screaming man back with disgust, and as he landed on the ground, she dug her boot into his ribs, making a sickening crunch sound out through the alley.

She whirled on the boy writhing in fear on the floor of the alley, and her power flared around her. His green eyes were glazed in fear and pain, but he still saw the asphalt tremor and shift underneath her steps. She was a vision of insanity and power as she slowly stepped towards him, even humming an eerie song that made the young man close his eyes in fear as she approached him, prowling, like a predator.

She lifted him into the air by his throat with a godly strength, and she grinned at him with the most evil smirk the boy had ever seen, and then, she spoke, her voice seething with rage as a bright green ki flowed around her like a breeze. “So tell me, little man, are you satisfied with your outing tonight? Did you get what you wanted?” The only hand the man had left went to her wrist, and he weakly struggled against the air constricting hold she had around his throat.

“You disgust me! You are so obsessed with beauty that you have to mar its perfection with your filthy bodies and your sickening release. It's a tragedy that bastards like you are allowed to breed. You beget children who are just as filthy as you!” She raised a hand palm open, and before the boy knew what she was up to, a green disk slid from her hand and slowly, agonizingly, began to diagonally cut through the boy's skull, cutting his brain from his body at a slow, bloody pace.

As he screamed, the woman merely held him by his neck while pushing the bright green ki disk through his head at an excruciatingly sluggish speed. Before the disk reached the part of his brain that controlled his life support systems, she smiled at him again, her emerald eyes, devoid of pupils, filled with pleasure at his suffering. “This is your penance.” She snarled. With that, the disk severed the boy's brain, and he fell dead to the asphalt in a headless, bloody heap.

A whimper sounded from the corner to remind her that there was still one matter to attend to. She turned and faced the sole survivor of the small massacre, and her eyes flashed to the insane blue that betrayed her true nature. She stepped forward, her feet sinking into molten pavement as she looked down at the boy with cold indifference. He cried out, and covered his head with his arms, and began to sob. “P-please. I-I'm sorry. Please don't…k-kill me! M-mercy!” He begged.

Diana crouched down in front of him, and as he raised his eyes, they widened. Insanity proudly showed itself in her smirk, and she leaned forward and whispered into his ear. “Mercy? I don't know the meaning of that word. Why should I? You wouldn't have shown Son Pan any mercy.” With that, her hand shot forward, and her fist crunched through the bones of the boy's face, and embedded itself into his brain. With a ki blast, pieces of flesh, gray brain matter, and bone sprayed the wall, and she nearly gagged in disgust. “Filthy creatures.” She snorted.

As she stood, blood dripped from her hands, and she stepped into the middle of body parts, blood, and flesh. She stood and looked about her as if though she was appraising the situation much like an objective investigator would, and she snorted in amusement. “Pathetic.” She growled. As she walked away from the scene in the alley, the energy calmed in her body, but the blood thirsty gaze in her insane eyes was still there.

************

After washing her hands in front of a few properly horrified woman, Diana rushed out to the parking lot where Pan sat on the hood of the red sports coup, her head rested on Alex's chest as he stood in front of her, rubbing her back soothingly. Diana nodded to him in appreciation, and as if though he knew what had just transpired in the back of the club, he handed Pan over to her without so much as a glance.

Pan looked up weakly to Diana. “I threw up. Like six times. I feel better. I can see straight now.” Diana nodded gently and pulled the girl to her chest in a gentle embrace and looked to Alex.

“I'm taking her back to my apartment where I can watch her for a while. Thank you.” She said lowly. Alex nodded and watched as Diana helped the girl into the coup.

“I don't think I want to ask what happened to those guys.” He said.

Diana paused before getting into the sports car. “No, you don't. And don't go into the alley even when you see the police get there. Do you hear me? Stay away. You can read about it tomorrow in the news.” Alex nodded and waved at Pan through her window, and Diana opened her door and climbed in. Alex wasn't stupid. He knew that those boys wouldn't harm another woman again, but he wondered if their lives had been worth all the trouble they'd caused that night.
