Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ The Creation of Devistation ❯ Introduction ( Chapter 4 )
Chapter three
"Well Wiccam how in hell did you mange to get yourself into this mess?" Vegeta asked a tired and worn out looking Terriyan.
"Vegge," she snapped, "I really don't think I'm up to an inquisition right now, all I want to do is soak in a scalding hot tub for a few years." He smirked back at her and offered a hand to her. She looked at it for a moment like it was an alien life force before wrapping her arms around herself tighter. Terriyan looked around for her rag, finding it she gingerly put it back on, fiddling with it to make sure she was covered. She then accepted his offer. The others were left in wonder at who she was and why Vegeta was reacting to her the way he was. When they had heard him say that she had used him they expected after Brolli was down he would break her neck himself, but here he was being a nearly perfect gentleman. Terriyan leaned closer to him and whispered,
"Though Vegge I could ask you the same thing?"
Vegeta looked back to the assembled crowd that joined him and grimaced in disgust.
"Cause if I'm not mistaken one is some form of relation to me," Terriyan crouched near his ear, " And they all seem pretty curious. I love being the center of attention." Terriyan then sighed dramatically and placed her hand over her heart. Vegeta laughed whole heatedly, more out of relief then anything else, she was not going to be a living vegetable, as he had heard most girls in her circumstances had. Indeed it seemed quite the opposite with her, if anything she appeared to become stronger by whatever happened to her. Then again he did most of it to her. Terriyan cocked her head to the side upon seeing him grimace.
"Hey what's wrong?"
"Nothing, if you want to meet the nimrods it's your own fault," He answered. Terriyan giggled, he hadn't changed a bit, perhaps slightly more mellow but still the same arrogant spoiled brat.
"To be honest I'm surprised you survived," he said abruptly as he turned back to look at her. Terriyan examined him with interest, perhaps not a boy anymore.
"Then again you always did have a heart of steel," he added and looked briefly over his shoulder to the assembled party behind them that were whispering among themselves.
"And you always had balls of brass," she leered and followed his gaze. "He's your son isn't he?"
"Yes."
"Well you always did have beautiful children," Terriyan mentioned before looking over to examine the man she suspected of being her brother and the other two she was almost certain were her nephews. Vegeta looked from his son to Terriyan slowly, her words sinking in.
"What do you mean children!"
