Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ The Cure ❯ Breakdown ( Chapter 2 )
Disclaimer: I don't own DBZ and I don't own any songs in my story. Also, the songs he's singing are borrowed from Kenny Chesney, please don't sue me because I really don't have anything to give you guys…darn those corporate leeches.
Author's notes: I know I start new stories really fast and don't update on other stories very often but I'm trying…I really am. I get really bad writer's block and it's almost impossible for me to come up with a good follow up chapter so please bear with me because I've been out of it a lot recently due to a problem with my fiancé. Sorry about that guys. This chapter is where the NC-17 rating starts and it doesn't get much better until I've gotten several more chapters up for this story.
Chapter Two: Breakdown…
"In your life, you seemed to have it all, you seemed to have control…but deep within your soul you're loosing it. You never took the time, assumed that you're the blame, you think that you're insane…"
"I haven't seen you in forever and you haven't changed a bit, you didn't think that I'd remember…how could I forget? We sang Bobby McGee on the hood of my car, made a wish on every star…in that clear September sky." Smirking while he sang, Vegeta scanned his crowd of fans and studied every sign they held up before continuing with his singing. "One bottle of wine and two Dixie cups, at three a.m. I fell in love for the first time in my life…"
Watching him from backstage, Kakarot listened intently to the final song then nodded to his friend before heading out to the car he'd rented a few hours earlier while everyone else was working on the stage. He had a friend in a very small, very remote, county known as Gloucester who had agreed to let them stay for however long they needed to stay there. Unfortunately, he also knew that everyone in the county were big country music fans and Vegeta Ouji was a hit in that county. Starting the car, he waited patiently then put the car in drive when the other man ran outside and jumped into the passenger seat.
"Where is this place we're going again?"
"Gloucester."
"And you're sure Bulma won't find me there?"
"Most people in this state don't even know where it is."
"Why do I feel a but coming on?"
Grinning as he switched lanes, he turned on the radio so that it was picking up a local Gloucester station.
"I just got a request from a sad girl out at Woods Crossroads named Kathi. She wanted to hear `Me and You' by Vegeta Ouji to help soothe her aching soul. Well Kathi, here it is and I hope you get better soon." A soft feminine voice drifted through the car's speakers, followed by the soft strains of the song.
"Ordinary love, I really don't think so. Not a love this true. Common destiny, we were meant to be, me and you…like a perfect scene from a movie screen we're a dream come true…"
Shaking his head, Vegeta sighed and leaned back in his seat to get comfortable while listening to his voice come out over the radio. "God…I never knew this song was so…"
"Beautiful, comforting, nice…what is this song so much of?"
"Bad, I could have done better."
"Well, I'm sure you'll come up with a better song later."
"Of course, I don't write my own songs just for the hell of it."
"Ever thought of doing a duet?"
"No so don't even think of asking me if you could sing with me once."
"Aw…why not?"
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
"Pretty please with lots of sugar and chocolate on top?"
Rolling his eyes then opening them wide in surprise and a hint of fear, he grabbed the wheel and jerked it away from the guardrails before turning and glaring at his friend. "You definitely won't sing a duet if you kill me before I even get to go on vacation."
"Yes sir!"
Running his fingers through his hair, he stared up at the roof of the car, wondering what he had done to deserve such torture for his brief escape from the spotlight.
"Vegeta…"
"What?" Keeping his eyes on the roof, he could still see Kakarot shifting through his peripheral vision.
"Do you need anything to eat?"
"No."
"Oh…ok."
Glancing at his friend again, he grinned and shook his head slightly before talking once more. "But I guess it wouldn't hurt to get something for now."
Grinning foolishly, Kakarot took an exit towards a McDonalds he'd seen before he asked.
"It's the simple things in life like the kids at home and a loving wife that you miss the most, when you lose control. And everything you love starts to disappear the devil takes your hand and says no fear, take another shot, just one more beer. I've been there, that's why I'm here…"
Shifting on her bed, Kathi stared at the clock beside her then bit her lip, hearing Cowboy snoring loudly and feeling his arm fall off of her waist. She debated getting up then took a deep breath and eased her body off of the mattress before walking as quietly as she could to the kitchen to get some water. The bare linoleum beneath her feet was cold and made her shiver involuntarily, causing her broken arm to freeze up in protest and a small gasp of pain to escape from her lips. Grabbing a cup from the drying rack on the sink, she filled it with tap water and drank greedily before setting the glass on the counter with a soft clinking noise. "Lord help me to be strong enough to get myself out of the mess I've gotten myself into." Filling the glass again, she started raising it to her lips when the creaking of the floor caught her attention and forced her to look back over her shoulder.
Leaning against the doorframe, his 5'10" body filling it almost completely, was Cowboy, her fiancé. His eyes were cold and angry, the only thing that betrayed his nonchalant stance and almost carefree expression. "Hey doll, what are you doing up right now?"
"I was just…"
"Getting ready to sneak out with your slut friends again?"
"No…" Shaking her head, she backed against the counter then winced when she hit her hurt arm against the edge of the countertop none to gently. "I was just getting a little water…"
"Liar." Moving out of the doorframe, he slowly advanced on her then grabbed her by the back of her neck before digging his fingers into the soft skin and forcing her to her knees. "You never did give me that blowjob you promised me."
"I…"
"Well bitch…do it now or your other arm will be in a cast as well."
Shuddering in revulsion, she watched him slide his boxers off then stared at his shaft before wincing when he grabbed a fistful of her hair shoved it in her face.
"Suck it slut."
Begging him with her eyes, she knew she had lost when he reached out with his other hand and forced her mouth to open. Tasting his salty skin and feeling his shaft in her mouth, she gagged then started crying silently, wondering when he was going to stop.
"Suck it harder you fucking whore."
Feeling the bile rise up in her throat, she jerked her face away and threw up on the floor until all that was coming out was dry heaves. By the time she had even made it to the dry heaves, he had her flat on the ground, her face inches from the mess.
"You will have that cleaned up in less than two minutes or I'll make you wish you never got out of bed."
Swallowing the lump in her throat, she slowly got to her feet and grabbed several paper towels before cleaning up the mess with shaking hands. She was lucky tonight because she had the mess up before her time ran out. Although being lucky didn't mean she was going to be left alone and she never did get the sleep she so desperately needed that night.
