AN: this is a T/P based on the movie "the family man." I never saw the movie just the commercials so it's not going to be exactly like the movie. It's also ........... after GT and Goku is dead. O yeah and before I forget Pan was suppose to get married but Trunks calls it off.

* At the Park. Everybody's standing under an oak tree waiting for Trunk's special news*

Goten: Come on Trunks spit it out we've all been waiting here for a half an hour for you to tell us you "special" news.

Trunks: Alright, alright I'll tell you guys. I am now the new president of Capsule Corp.

Goten: Cool!

Marron: That's amazing Trunks you'll now be the most famous person in the world!

Bra: At least I don't have to do all that work now.

Pan: I'm very happy for you Trunks.

Bra: *looks at her watch* Shit I'm going to be late for my modeling job. Well bye see you guys later *waves an runs out of the park*

Goten: Yeah I should be getting home ready for my date with Paruis tonight. Buh bye *flies off home*

Marron: Same here. I have a date with Amono. See ya! *runs out the park*

Pan: Well Trunks I guess that means where going to have to postpone the wedding until you have all your work sorted out. ne?

Trunks: Well........with all the work that I'm going to have we might have to postpone it for a couple of years. Maybe more.

Pan: Maybe we shouldn't get married at all!

Trunks: That might be a good idea.

Pan: Trunks! How insensitive can you be?!

Trunks: I'm just saying-

Pan: That's it!!! The weddings off!!! I never want to see your face as long as I live!!!*crying and then ran out of the park*

Trunks: Pan wait!

Trunks: *jumps out of bed* Shit.....It was just a dream......One that I have almost every night!

< Trunks has been having that dream almost every other night for the last past 7 years. The only thing about that dream was it was real. It happened 7 years ago and he hasn't seen her since. Goten has helped him out by taking things over in America. A few years ago it got bombed and he died. Ever since then the Briefs and the Sons haven't been talking to each other. (this story can kind of fit in the GT series) In toughs 7 years trunks has become the most famous person in the world with Capsule Corp. He hasn't had a relationship with any girl sine Pan because of the work he had. He was also just about to go to another meeting. His 3rd one that day. He usually get 10 meetings so he got off easy today. >

Trunks: So what's the stock report today in America Coral?

Coral: Well the Nasdack is up 10 points and the Microsoft just went down 5 points. And everything else is staying steady. And the people are also saying we are not a family company because our president doesn't have one so he doesn't know how it is.

Trunks: Well it happens. I'm working here day and night. I have no time for a social life.

Sally: All work and no play makes Trunks very rich.

Trunks: Ha ha ha ha ha. Very funny Sally but I have more important things to do then have a family.

Sally: Sure. What ever you say Trunks.

Trunks: I almost got married once.

Sally: You. Married?! HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Very Funny Trunks. Is this meeting over? I have to get home to my family.

Trunks: Yeah, yeah all of you can go home early today.

<everybody rushes out of the room>

Trunks: Looks like I get to sleep some extra hours. Maybe even watch TV. Heh. It's like a foreign word to me. Me and Goten used to watch it all the time...now look at me. Dende bless his soul. Well I better get home.

<Little did Trunks know that the roads were slippery because of all the rain they've been getting. Trunks was crossing the bridge that lead to his studio apartment. Just then a car came swerving across the rode and pushed Trunks' car almost over the edge. A piece of glass shattered and landed right in his heart causing him to gasp his last breaths. Then out of the blue Trunks herd Dende's voice>

Dende: Don't you ever wonder what life would be like if you had turned down the presidency of Capsule Corp and married Pan?

Trunks: 'Sometimes but what can me thinking do now? I am dieing'

Dende: What if you could see the life you would have had? Would you?

Trunks: '........Yes I would.'

Dende: Ok. The next time you open your eyes you'll be with pan and see how life would be like.

Trunks:' Ok....' *closes his eyes*

Kat: DADDY, MOMMY IT'S TIME TO GET UP WE WANT TO OPEN OUR PRESENTS!!!!

Matt: *holding a baby* Mom, dad please take her to get her changed.

Trunks: *jumps out of bed* Wha? Wha? They are not my kids! They can't be!

Pan: Well you want to go on Murray or something to prove there yours?

Trunks: 'This can't be happening. Dende must be right. I thought he was just fooling me, but it's true. I might as well play along or something'

Pan: Trunks are you alright?

Trunks: Huh? Yeah I'm fine I just bumped my head during a sparing match that's all.

Pan: Well lucky for you, you got a hard head.

Trunks: Yeah I guess.

Matt: Mom, dad....

Pan: Yes?

Trunks: .........'O yeah that's me. I dad from now on' Yeah?

Matt: can on of you change Crystal? She really stinks.

Pan: Sure Trunks would volunteer for that.

Trunks: Um.....I guess.

Pan: Good *shoves him out of bed*

Matt: *hands Crystal to trunks*

Pan: Now you two have fun. Me Matt and Kat are going to cook some breakfast and then we can open our gifts. By the way Marry Christmas.

Trunks: Huh? Oh yeah Marry Christmas to u too.

* Pan, Matt and Kat leave the room and goes down stairs*

Trunks: *looks at Crystal* Well it's just you and me kid. And just to tell you I'm new at this and I may screw up a lot.

Here I go with another story. I just can't help but start them. They kind of help me out with my other stories. Don't flam me about how I killed Trunks. I had to figure a way to put him and his dieing breaths. I don't think a car crash would do it for a sayain. I got the idea from Esca Flowne when Folken died. Anyway lets hope I can update this one soon.
