Trunks: Why me...

Pan: It's an easy job for you. *Holds Crystal in her arms, rocking her*

Trunks: ' Spiffy, I'm a construction worker... Well it won't have the long hours like at Capsule Corp'

Crystal: *tries to grab some of trunks' hair* dada!

Trunk: *winces* OI! (I read to much Inu Yasha) *tries to pull her off*

Pan: Not so easy huh? *Somehow gets Crystal out of his hair* And I have to deal with 3 saya-jin's today.

Trunks: Yep a week with them. How fun.

Pan: *mocks him* "Yep a week with them. How Fun." Wait till spring break.

Trunks: Ya and you go on your little vacation.

Pan: It's a dream away.

Kat: *runs in and latches onto Trunks' leg* Aw! I don't want you to go to work daddy!!!

Trunk: *picks her up and throws her into the air* Well someone has to pay the bills, and buy more toys to keep you busy. *Tickles her*

Kat: *laughs and hugs him*

Pan: And spoil them rotten.

Trunks: Oh not me! Is Matt still asleep?

Kat: *nods* ya! Like a log!

Trunks: I'll wake him up before I leave. *Kisses Kat* See ya later all right?

Kat: Ya! Then we can play!

Trunks: *kisses Crystal* See ya kid.

Crystal: *gurggles at him* Da - Da!

Pan: *smiles* Have a nice day at work.

Trunks: I'll try. *Kisses her deeply and walks out waving* See ya all later. *Walks to Matt's room*

*In Matt's room*

Matt: *sound asleep*

Trunks: *tip toes in and flips his mattress* Wakey Wakey Eggs and Bakey! ( I used to listen to Radio Disney)

Matt: DAD!!! It's 6 am!! And vacation!! Why wake me up!?

Trunks: Cause you'll get used to sleeping in. Don't want you getting lazy.

Matt: You sound like grandpa...

Trunks: Cause he used to tell me the same thing. *Ruffles his hair* Now put back the mattress. I'm off to work

Matt: *mumbles while he fixes his mattress and falls back in asleep*

*At the construction Site*

Trunks: *walks to the construction site* ' It seems unreal, but I can remember all my friends here... what we are building... all of that. Dende sure thought this out... Or maybe he put me in this time line. I gotta talk to him when I get a chance.'

Bob: *one of Trunks' friends walk up to him* Hey their Trunks! How's the holiday?

Trunks: To short. But got to see the whole family in once place.

Bob: *laughs* I know what you mean. But mine is staying over my house the whole week. It's gonna be hell when I get home, answering to the mother- in- law and all.

Trunks: Ya well mine went back home to Japan today.

Bob: Yours has an advantage. It can fly.

Trunks: *laughs* I guess so.

Susan: *walks up to them* Look at you lazy bums. Thinking your still on vacation. Not working at all.

Bob: Take it yours was bad.

Susan: All my brothers coming in and staying at my house, it was just peachy.

Trunks: How'd they take to your new boyfriend?

Bob: Any broken bones this time?

Susan: Oh they loved him. They broke his arm in "touch" football. *She sighs* But at least he'll stick with me even if he gets hurt by my brothers.

Trunks: *laughs* Sounds like a keeper.

Bob: Where have we heard this before?

Susan: Over my 3 other boyfriends...

Bob: One for each holiday. You better get married soon. Your already 37, gonna be an old hag soon!

Susan: *hits him over the head* Shows how much you know!

Trunks: Women...

Susan: *gives Trunks the death glare* What was that?!

Trunks: Heh heh, nothing... heh heh

Susan: Thought so... Now lets WORK!! *Grabs Bob and Trunks pulling them to the site to check in and start working*

< So he worked through the day with them, and his other friends. Since he was a saya-jin and picking up the metal was no problem. He did most of the work and took it as a work out. They talked about their holidays and how the kids reacted, and family's stories. Trunks couldn't help but worry... When it would end >

* A synopsis of what's to come*

Trunks comes home, only to be pushed into the snow by his kids. As he plays with them he can't help but worry it will end soon. The months pass and spring break comes. But in order to enjoy his time off he needs to see Dende as ask him. That means only one thing... The Brief family is off to Japan. But will Dende's answer really be what Trunks' is hopping for? And loves blooms between Goten and... OI! You gotta wait till the next chapter to read!

AN: *grabs heart* I just finished " Don't leave me alone Daisy" and had this inspiration to write... Ok this has nothing to do with the anime but the song is stuck in my head. Well I hope to make the next chapter longer. And don't look for any updates from me in a long time (like always) I'm going to the 8th grade and got even more tests. I'm gonna push myself to update all my other stories though, and maybe add a few more to keep me busy. So look out for those.
