The Girls from Afar

Chapter 1: The Visitors

 

 

Mirai Time line

It was another one of those days, where you hear screaming in the distance; shouts of help and agony were heard. Two girls started to run toward each call of help; everyone put their lives on their hands and expected them to rescue them when the time was needed. Even though the girls had superpowers and extra energy they couldn't reach and help but a few. Each girl would tire in one day. Sometimes they were so exhausted that they fell from the skies while flying.

 

"Please, somebody help me!" yelled a civilian. The monsters were attacking the civilians again. Those ruthless uncaring pieces of crap made by Dr. Gero. That's right, the androids. One girl with shiny, ebony hair that fell down to her shoulders, onyx eyes that were full of tiredness, fear, and determination, ran toward the screaming person who was in a glazing fire. She was wearing a black shirt with a red dragon in the front, and on the back was a four star dragonball. Her shorts were khaki's with a chain that hanged down. She coughed violently as the smoke burned her throat and lungs. She skimmed the place in search of anything that was moving, and saw a woman at te age of 38 struggling to breathe in the blazing smoke. The girl ran toward the woman, picked her up and flew out of the collapsing house.

 

"Thank you," she panted, "thank you very much dear," said the lady.

 

"You're welcome," came her soft reply. She looked up at the sky sensing her friend coming toward her. She landed a few feet away from her. This girl had aqua hair and blue eyes, she was wearing the same thing the other girl was except her shirt was red and the dragon was black.

 

"Pan, mom said to go to Capsule Corp. She says she has something important to tell us,"informed the girl with the unusual hair color. The girl, who went by the name of Pan, nodded and blasted off at the sky, followed close by her friend.

 

When they arrived at Capsule, Bulma was waiting for them in the living room. She looked nervous, and determined about something. "Pan! Bra! I'm glad you girls are okay!" She wailed, and ran toward the two teens, hugging them with all her might. They hugged back.

 

"What's the important news Bulma?" asked Pan as she, Bulma, and Bra sat down in the kitchen.

 

"Well girls, I don't know if this is good news to you two or bad news but we're going to another dimension. It is safe and calm and certainly no danger," Bulma looked at the two girls hopefully, and saw the look of shock on their faces.

 

"Mom, are you sure we should do this?" asked Bra. Bulma nodded firmly. Pan and Bra hesitated a bit.

 

In hopes of convincing them, Bulma added, "Come on girls, you two are strong, young women, we'll pull this through together!"

 

"But Bulma, anything could happen while we're traveling," reasoned Pan.

 

"I guess we'll just have to take the risk girls, and see what destiny has in store for us," replied Bulma.

Present time line

 

Trunks and Goten were in the woods camping, far from civilization. Both had agreed to camp for two major reasons: 1. to get out and have some fresh air and peace and quiet for once. 2. to get away from Marron who was always trying to flirt with them with her slutty ways.

 

"Hey Trunks, did we pack enough food to last us a week?" Goten asked again.

 

Trunks looked at Goten as if he just noticed he was there. `And to think Goten passed all his tests without thinking of food.' Trunks thought with a smile. He nodded to his best friend and started to get out some marshmallows when the ground started to rumble. "What is this, an earthquake!?" yelled Trunks. Goten tried to get up but fell back down on his butt with a 'thump'. All of a sudden it stopped and they felt two strong ki's and one weak ki near their campsite.

 

"You think we should check it out?" asked Goten. Trunks nodded and flew toward the source. When they got there, they saw a space ship with the Capsule logo on it. "Hey Trunks, when did your mom build a ship?" asked Goten, but before Trunks could answer, the door of the ship opened and out came three people, obviously thrown in the air by something.

 

They all fell down, and started to groan, "Nice landing Bra!" scowled Pan sarcastically.

 

"Hey I wasn't the one who pressed the eject button!" retorted Bra.

 

Meanwhile Trunks and Goten we're amazed at what they were witnessing. There in front of them were three women, two that looked about their age, and one who looked around 47. But their eyes we're fixed on the two young women, both thinking the same thing, `She's gorgeous!'

 

Pan looked around than sensed two strong ki's near the bushes, and three more heading their way. She looked toward the bushes and saw a hint of lavender and black. She also realized something else, her mother was left behind in their world! Bra noticed Pan's panic expression. Since Bra wasn't as good at sensing ki's as Pan, she didn't know that someone was watching them.

 

"Pan, where's my mom?" asked a frantic Bra. Pan came to her senses and began to search around.

 

Meanwhile in the bushes the boys sensed the z-gang (Goku, Vegeta, Gohan) coming. They landed next to the two young boys.

 

"Who are they?" asked Gohan.

 

"I don't know but I'm not going to wait and find out,'' and with that said, Vegeta started to power up a Big Bang Attack. "I'm going to shoot the one who is the weakest," he said while pointing toward Bulma. But before anyone could protest he fired the blast.

 

Pan found Bulma leaning against a tree breathing heavily. Suddenly a ki blast came shooting toward Bulma! She reacted quickly and flashed in front of Bulma, taking the blast head on. Amazingly, it was a weak one. Pan put her arms down and looked at the sourcein which it came from. It was behind the bushes so she fired a Kamehameha wave. "KAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAA MEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She screamed letting go of the ball of fire.

 

All five men were amazed and surprised. The girl with the black hair just took the shot full force, and there wasn't even a scratch on her. She then chanted the Kamehameha wave and sent it toward them. It was powerful so they jumped out of the way. "Whoa! And here I thought only the Son's could do that attack!" exclaimed Trunks. Goku rubbed his head where there was a bump, since he crashed into the tree that was in his way.

 

Pan lowered her hands shocked and surprise written in her features.

 

"D-dad?" She asked in a low voice.

 

"Huh?" Came their reply.

 

Bra looked at the people in front of her in confusion Pan, "Who are these people and why did they try to kill mom?"

 

Pan just shrugged equally puzzled. "Help me Pan, Bra," squeaked Bulma.

 

Pan looked at the five men in front of her one last time, than ran toward Bulma and helped her to her feet. She looked at the older woman's face and saw a tear run down her face. "V-Vegeta?" she asked. Pan looked shocked, so this was the man who Bulma always gushed about.

 

"How do you know my name woman?'' Spat Vegeta, clearly unamused.

 

Pan's temper boiled, how could he say that to her? She would set him straight. "You bastard are you blind? She's your wife from another dimension, you pig-headed egocentric monkey!" Yelled Pan in rage.

 

Four men laughed at that. Butthe look they saw on Vegeta's face had quickly shut up.

 

"Bulma?" He asked.

 

Bulma nodded, than coughed violently. "Bulma are you okay?" asked Pan. She nodded and managed a small smile of reassurance.

 

"Pan you better explain to them about us and why we're here, they deserve to know, now that you and Bra will be living here with your families," Pan nodded than something came into her mind.

 

"OH NO! Mom, we left her back at the other dimension, I've got to go and save her!"

 

Bulma started to cry. Pan looked at her confused. "I'm so sorry Pan, but your mom, she was r-raped when I found her!"

 

Pan looked at her in disbelief "R-r-raped?" She couldn't even bring her self to even say the word. She gently laid Bulma on the ground walked toward a mass of trees,

stood there for a second then screamed in fury and punched the tree, which hits another tree which hit another, all falling down like dominoes.

 

Pan started to scream even louder, her hair started to turn gold, and her eye's turquoise. Her eyes started to role back, the sky turned black and thunder could be heard above them. The z-gang was left speech less. No one, not even Vegeta, had ever seen a female saiyan turning into a Super Saiyan!

 

"We better stop her before she self destructs!" yelled Goku, and flew toward Pan. He got a hold of Pan and began trying to calm her down.

 

Bra meanwhile knew how to calm her down but if she came anywhere close to Pan she would get injured, so she went toward Gohan, Goten, Vegeta, and Trunks and said, "Please you have to calm her down, she's like a sister to me!''

 

They nodded but Goten asked "How are we gonna calm her down?"

 

"You have to sooth her because she's your niece, and your daughter!" Gohan and Goten looked shocked for a moment but a big explosion got them back to their senses, they nodded and went to help Goku..

 

"So brat whose spawn are you?" asked Vegeta.

 

"I thought you would have figured it out by now, but hey I didn't know what to expect from you since you died at my birth father," Vegeta did a double-take.

 

"So I have a sister?" asked Trunks. Bra nodded, than turned back to Pan, her clothes had started to shred..

 

"Pan calm down please sweetie," soothed Gohan.

 

"Yeah Panny, your Uncle Goten is here!"

 

Pan opened her eyes and looked at her family. She powered down and whispered, "Thank you kami for giving me the family I missed," before she blacked out.

Pan woke up to a new surrounding. She blinked once than twice, she sat up to find Bulma from this time holding a cylinder to her face with some odd liquid.

 

Bulma looked at Pan and smiled. "Hi, how are you holding up?" she asked. Pan looked around the room. It was full of health aids from a regeneration tank to a needle. Her eyes started to water up. Her grandfather Goku always was afraid of it, and would run away in fright. It always took at least three saiyans to keep him from leaving the planet.

 

Bulma saw the sadness in her eyes and wondered if she was all right, so she just asked, "Are you all right, Pan?"

 

Pan looked at her and smiled a little and said, "May I see Bra and Mirai Bulma?"

 

Bulma nodded her head and helped the young girl up. They went through the house, which seemed to never end and finally arrived at the living room. Pan had to have crutches since she didn't get her full strength back. Everybody looked at her with love in their eyes. Pan didn't know everyone since they were killed before she was even born. But one person caught her eye. He had lavender hair, with great build, and a kind expression on his face. He also seemed to be staring at her. Pan broke the stare and looked at Bra who came running toward her. The two friends hugged, and glanced at everybody who looked really confused about what was happening, so M.Bulma took the opportunity to introduce her and the two girls.

 

"We're here from another dimension where the androids have destroyed our home and family. We thought that if we go to another dimension it would be a lot easier to live. Pan is the only remaining Son from our time, and we're the only Briefs. Pan and Bra have kept the remaining people alive, and have helped the rest of the world. Pan has protected us since she was the strongest person in the world. She trained Bra and herself. Pan didn't get any training from the z-gang since they were all killed by the androids." Everyone looked flabbergasted.

 

There was uneasiness in the air, so Gohan broke the ice. "How old were you when you lost your family from your time Pan?"

 

Pan looked at him for a second than answered quietly, "My father died after my 1st birthday. The androids busted in our home. My father tried to protect us but by doing so he got himself killed. My grandfather and uncle died in battle when the androids kidnaped me, I saw them getting blasted at, and than for the final blow 17 fired a spirit bomb fused with a Kamehameha Wave. I was five then. My grandmother died by the bond she shared with my grandfather. My mother never finished the bond with my father so she didn't die with my father. Before we came here, Bra and I were out saving some lives, when we returned back to Capsule where Bulma and supposedly my mother, were supposed to tell us that we were to go to a different dimension. When we got here she told me what happened to her," she choked back a sob.

 

Everyone was speechless, this poor girl lived a terrible life and they thought she could be an enemy? Boy, were they stupid.

 

"How old are you now Pan?" asked Goku..

 

"I'm 20 years old, I turn 21 in September." She looked at her parents who where surprised.

"Umm... He he he, how-how old was I when I had you?" asked Videl nervous as hell.

 

Pan looked at her and smiled, than started to laugh a little, her mother thought she had her when she was at a very young age.

 

"You had me when you were 25, mom. I've been to the Room of Spirit and Time, that's why I look older than I should be," Videl released a breath that she didn't know she held.

 

"I'm 16 years old." Bra chirped up. Pan smiled at her best friend.

 

Trunks couldn't take his eyes off of Pan at all. She seemed so innocent to him, full of spunk, great figure, and she seemed so kind, yet forbidding. None of those words could explain her clearly except that she was an Angel from another dimension.

 

Nightfall came and everyone decided it was best if they went to bed, even if it was 10:00. The Sons were about to leave when Bulma offered them a few rooms to stay in, "Why don't you guys stay at Capsule for today, since I'm going to have to check on Pan very often," they nodded there heads and Bulma got some guest rooms ready.

 

It was midnight and Pan still couldn't sleep. Her body was doing better than before but her legs gave out, when introduced to new weight.

 

Meanwhile Trunks was in the kitchen having a midnight snack. He made himself a burger and got himself something to drink that didn't include caffeine. In her room Pan was trying hard to go to sleep but couldn't, so she decided she would get something to eat and go to the balcony to see the peaceful night that she had forgotten. Pan got her crutches and hopped toward the kitchen. When she got there, Pan saw that she wasn't alone.

 

Trunks felt someone coming toward the kitchen; he stopped eating his burger and looked up to see Pan. He smiled at her, she smiled back. Pan hopped toward the chair across from him, but remembered that she was here to get a midnight snack so hopped towards the fridge. But before she could hop once more to reach the fridge, a pain shot through her legs "ugh" exclaimed Pan. But before she could hit the floor, Trunks grabbed her by the waist, and hoisted her up on her feet.

 

"Are you okay?" asked Trunks, his voice full of concern. Pan nodded and thanked him. "I don't think you should tire yourself; here, sit down and I'll fix you something to eat," said Trunks as he set Pan down on a chair. He walked back to the fridge, got out a bun and meat and started to make a sandwich for Pan. After he was done he set the burger down and sat back down on the chair. Pan started to eat the sandwich Trunks made for her.

 

After a few minutes, Trunks broke the silence, "How did you escape without being sensed by the androids?"

 

Pan looked at him for a few minutes and replied, "I don't know... but what I do know is that I have a feeling that 17 is going to find the other time machine. He might even come here."

 

Trunks looked at her, "What happened to 18?"

 

"I eliminated her from existence, after I found out that she killed a pregnant woman, I thought she had to go right than and there," She replied casually.

 

Trunks smirked at her, "My, my, my, aren't we a dangerous and violent female saiyan," Trunks mused. Pan smirked back and shrugged.

 

Pan looked at her watch and her eyes budged out, she gasped, "Oh my God! It's 2:30 already!"

 

"I'll help you get to your room, just to be safe," Trunks decided, but inside he was thinking, `Man, I'll even be able to get close to her without being slapped in the face, man Trunks you're a genius!'

 

Pan looked at him for a second, he seemed to be in la-la land but he did look cute! `Why does it feel so right to think of him that way? Maybe this is what love feels like... NO PAN! Don't think that way, everyone you end up loving gets hurt badly, physical or mental. Stop this Panny girl, before you end up hurting him someway.'

 

"Ahem, um.... Trunks, are you going to help me get up stairs or am I gonna go by myself?" Pan asked smirking as she watched Trunks come back to reality and blush a little.

 

"Uhh... Sorry, kinda spaced out there," he smiled sheepishly.

 

"So I noticed," she replied.

The next day was less painful for Pan, because her leg was a lot better than before. She didn't have to use crutches anymore.

"Hey Goten, go to Korin's tower to get some senzu beans for Pan," suggested Gohan.

 

"Sure bro. I'll be back soon,"

 

"Wait Goten I'll come with you, I needed to talk to you anyways," said Trunks. And the two boys flew out the door (literally).

 

In the air Trunks decided to start a conversation, knowing Goten wouldn't make it civilized. "Hey Goten, umm... what would you do if I said that I like your niece?" asked Trunks.

 

"Ummm... I don't know, I probably wouldn't mind really... But if you hurt her I would probably kill you, than cremate your body," Goten replied casually.

 

Trunks looked at him calmly and replied, "That's nice."

 

They reached Korin's tower and looked around and found Korin holding a bag filled with senzu beans. "Hey Korin, can we have a bag of beans please?" asked Goten politely.

 

"What for?" asked Korin. "It's for Pan, she came here from another dimension, she's my niece," Korin nodded and threw the bag of beans at Goten, who caught it with ease. The two boys blasted off from the tower.

 

Unbeknownst to Trunks and Goten, someone was watching them. When the two boys reached Capsule everyone was outside having lunch, except for Pan and Bra. So the two boys went upstairs to the two girls' ki. As soon as Trunks and Goten went towards their door, they realized that there was a third ki in the room. Both boys looked at each other with anger in there eyes, "Marron!" They growled in unison.

 

Inside the room, the three girls where having a conversation about something Pan and Bra obviously didn't enjoy. "Look, all I'm saying is you two better stay away from Goten and Trunks, because they're mine! Understand frying Pan? You too woman's Bra."

 

Bra was getting watery eyed. Pan was getting angrier by the minute; nobody insulted Bra and lived to tell the tale. "Well Moron, I don't see how they're yours. And before you get out of this room you better apologize to Bra!"

 

"Whatever frying Pan, I don't apologize to freaks like yourselves!"

 

By this time Trunks and Goten were really getting angry. So they just busted in the room looking angrily at Marron..

 

"Sweeties, that wench just called me Moron!" screeched Marron, faking her tears. Pan just rolled her eyes looking disgustedly at the girl in front of her. She turned her attention back to Bra who was weeping softly in her arms.

 

"Shut up Marron! You deserved every bad thing Pan said to you!" yelled an enraged Trunk.

 

Marron stood up from where she was and 'humphed' but before she left the room she stabbed her high-heeled shoe on Pan's weak leg, and mumbled, "You deserved that whore!"

 

But unfortunately to her, Trunks and Goten saw and heard what had happened. Goten and Trunks lunged at Marron. Holding both her arms, they picked her up and walked towards the window, opened it and threw her out, where she landed in the pool.

 

They looked back at the girls, Bra was still crying, but this time she was pointing towards Pan's leg. It was cut deeply and thick blood was dripping out. "Here Pan, eat this," said Goten, giving a senzu bean to Pan. Pan began to heal, her wound became invisible, and the pain was no longer there.

 

"Thanks, Goten, Trunks," she said as she smiled. Trunks' insides started to melt. Goten looked at Bra, looking so beautiful and innocent. "Come on Bra, I'll show you where the bathroom is, you need to freshen up a bit," suggested Goten, and led the way toward the bathroom. Trunks and Pan were left in the room together. Most people would have died of the tension that radiated off of them but these two were very comfortable in each others presence.

 

Trunks sat down next to Pan, and looked at his hands. Pan glanced at him for a second, than a small smile came across her lips. "She sure is a big pain in the ass, isn't she?" asked Pan a little amused.

 

"Ooh yeah!" replied Trunks. He put a hand on her shoulder and looked at her deep eyes for a second than said, "Come on, everyone is outside having lunch, and if you're a saiyan than you'll love it!" Declared Trunks, just than they heard something rumble and looked towards the door to find Goten smiling sheepishly at them rubbing the back of his head.

 

"Did someone say lunch?" Bra, Pan, and Trunks sweat dropped.

 

"There's a Son for ya!" mumbled Trunks smiling at his friend.

The teens went down to where the adults were. They found them outside by the pool, sitting on the benches outside. The teens sat down; all four on one bench. They sat there chattering.

 

"Hey Pan, come on, I see my mom signaling us. I think she needs to tell us something," Pan nodded, she had the strangest feeling that she and the rest were being watched.

 

She and Bra started to walk over to M. Bulma, when all of a sudden the ground started to shake violently. Bra lost her balance and tripped, Pan tried to catch her but couldn't so she also fell. "Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!" they yelled in unison, and crashed in to the pool flat.

 

"PAN!!"

"BRA!!" yelled the two dashing boys. Bra started to splash around, she didn't know how to swim since there weren't any pools or beaches when she was born. Pan had some experience since she once fell in the ocean, because she was blasted by 18. Ever since she sneaked off, trying to learn how to swim so she wouldn't make any mistakes. The boys were about to jump in when they saw a dark figure advancing on them. Pan looked at what they were looking at and gasped, her once soft, caring eyes turned into hatred that could kill a man like the myth of the basilisk.

 

"Awwwww, so Pan and Bra, and the old lady are here. I should say that was very stupid of you to leave your plans on the desk, and another time machine," the figure laughed a cold laugh. It stepped out of the shadows and into the light and revealed... Android 17. He pointed at the two girls in the pool. But it really was being aimed at Bra since she had difficulty swimming so her guard was down.

 

`Oh no!' thought Pan as 17 aimed the beam toward Bra's heart. Pan flew towards Bra, picked her up, and threw her to the closest person, which happened to be Goten. He caught her with ease. But Pan was a little late turning back to the enemy, because he already sent the beam, and it came towards her head.

 

Pan closed her eyes ready for the impact, but felt two strong arms around her waist pulling her down towards the pool once again. Pan opened her eyes to see Trunks looking at her. He looked up towards the surface than looked back at Pan. He quickly gave her a tender kiss on the lips, and resurfaced. It took Pan a few seconds to register at what had happened, and once she did she smirked making a mental note that she would return the kiss to him with little more force.

 

When Pan also resurfaced, she saw that 17 was getting beaten by Trunks. He stopped his fight with Trunks and looked at Pan, hard. "I'll be back when your boyfriend isn't around Pan," With that said he disappeared to thin air. Everyone looked around frantically thinking that he would appear again and attack but that never happened.

And the chapter is done! Guys I just reviewed and edited a bit. I wrote this when I didn't have a lot of knowledge on grammar so I know it's got lots of mistakes. But please deal with it for now. Thank you all! Please review!
