"Shoule, Shoule I'm sorry!" Hiyrem cried out apologetically, chasing after his brother. "Shoule! Please! I said I was sorry!"
Hiyrem whimpered slightly and not paying attention to where he was going, he ran into the back of his oniichan. He stumbled backwards and looked up at his older sibling, who had turned around to glare at him.
"Hiyrem, if I could kill you right now I swear I would!" Shoule hissed furiously. "I don't care if you're sorry. I don't care how many times you apologize. I just don't care! Please Hiy kun just get out of my city!"
"Shoule, I'm so sorry for you. I never meant for your daughter to get killed, but how do you think that I feel. Sacrie san was my niece, and I'm the one who made the battle that killed her."
"THEN YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE STARTED THE BATTLE!" Shoule roared. "Not in my city! Not around my people and daughter! And definitely not with a high chance of my daughters best friend being killed! What did you expect her to do? Stand around and watch him die?" He didn't wait to hear the answer. Turning on his heels, he stormed away from the earth God.
"Shoule!" Hiyrem grabbed the other Gods arm and twisted him roughly around to face him. "Look! I'm sorry, but I'm sure that you can do something! I mean your prophet's best friends with the prophets of life and death! That's got to count for something!"
"No." Shoule sighed. "It doesn't. Aru's a good boy, and I'm sure that he'd be more that willing to help us, but we both know that Seiya is too far gone to do any goodness, In his state, I don't think that even his prophet would be able to change that. And Emmeyan, no matter how good a person she is, then she is still the goddess of death. Her job is to take lives not give them. She should not be forced to break her own laws to compensate for your mistake. She is one of the the few Gods still humble to her position... Unlike some people."
Shoule went to walk through the large double doors and this time Hiyrem did not move to stop him.
"I'm sorry Shoule," The earth God said in a voice barely louder than a whisper. "I'm so very, very sorry. I think I can help though." Shoule paused and waited for his Otouto to continue. The doors to his water hall were open wide in front of him. "I can go to Tashie san." The younger God told his oniichan hopefully. "I can ask her to change time for you so that all this never even happened."
Shoule stood uncertainly, in front of the double doors for an awkward moment of silence before coming up with an answer.
"Tashie will not help us." He stated coldly. With that, he strode into the room and slammed the doors behind him.
Hiyrem stood in the echoing silence, watching shadows dance eerily across the door by the light of the fading sun from the city outside.
