A few months later-
An alien space pod landed in a forest near a fairly large city on Dlaran-sai. The people in the city wrote it off as space debris falling from space, like it usually did. People went on with their business, deciding that the usual clean up crews that clean up the space debris would come and clean up their forest, since people reported it to them. A clean up crew was assigned to go collect the debris.
"There has been a lot of debris this week, more than normal." Commented one man in the crew as they walked through the forest.
Another man eyed the first like he was crazy.
"You know what? I think your paranoid Irtan." A third stated to the first.
Irtan stopped walking and turned to his crew members, "I'm not crazy, Talac! You know there is an average of 3 debris fall each week." He said worryingly to the others.
The second chuckled slightly.
"So? Your point is?" asked Talac with a scowl at Irtan.
Irtan frowned, "So, what I mean is this is either the fifth or sixth debris fall this week, and that's unnatural."

The space pod landed in a fairly dense area in the forest. The pod opened, revealing a sleeping young girl with black hair. As the birds in the forest chirped she stirred.
"Huh, what?" she mumbled to herself as she started to somewhat roll out of the space pod. She fell out and got a face full of dirt. "Yuck!" exclaimed the girl as she picked herself up, and spat out the dirt that had got in her mouth. "Ugh." She mumbled and looked around, "Where am I?" she asked the forest around her that she had never seen before.
The last thing she remembered was traveling in space… in the space pod she had just fell from… after she was launched from her home planet. She couldn't remember why she was sent away, or even if she knew why before she was sent away.
"Why am I here?" she asked aloud while looking around.
She could remember her name… Myst. She could also remember the names of her parents and of her home planet. She could also remember a few different things about her race. She was only a little girl, though didn't always act like it, and she hadn't gotten to get used to her race's culture yet, so she wasn't exactly blood thirsty like the others of her race. She never really was like the others of her race, but she did not know that since she was trained only by her parents and was never allowed out of the building that she and her parents lived in.
Suddenly footsteps sounded nearby, alarming Myst to something coming towards her. She quickly scrambled to her feet and ran in the opposite direction that the footsteps were coming from. She wondered how someone could have located her crash site so soon after she had landed. She soon came upon a cave at the face of a mountain, which she entered as fast as she could, not caring if anything or anyone was already living there.

The three men soon approached the space pod, when it was in view they stopped walking and stared at each other.
"Is that what I think it is?" asked the second man.
"That depends on what-…" Talac was cut off by Irtan pushed past him and ran to the space pod.
"Its some sort of ship!" he called back to his comrades, who ran up behind him.
"I think your right." Said the second man slowly.
"Not one that I've ever seen before…" Talac commented in a worried tone.
"I think it's a spaceship! I said something unusual was going on!" stated Irtan excitedly and a little worried.
"But if it's a spaceship… Then what was in it?" asked the second man, pointing to the now unoccupied seat in the pod. "And look, the ground here has been disturbed a little." Pointed out the second man.
"Well Yulant, if there was something in there, and I'm not saying there was, it's gone now." Talac said somewhat sternly.
"I think we should bring the ship back, report that there might be an alien on the loose, and then search for it." Suggested Irtan with stars in his eyes.
Yulant rolled his eyes at Irtan and pointed at some boot tracks, "Well it wears footwear, but what if it kills us if we try to track it down?"
Talac chuckled at the other two and took hold of one side of the pod and tried to lift it, "I could use a hand if you two wouldn't mind helping." He said trying with all his might to lift the pod on his own.
"Oh sorry, thought you wanted to do that alone…" said Yulant with a laugh as he stepped forward and helped the man lift the pod an inch.
"Hey! Come on, help!" said Yulant and Talac in unison.
"Oh alright." Replied Irtan and he moved forward, and finally they lifted the pod into the air.
"Okay, let's bring it back to the city." Stated Talac as he looked towards the city. "Right!" said the other two in unison.
The men slowly brought the pod out of the forest, and into the city. People stopped what they were doing and stared at them as they passed by, muttering things about the space debris getting odder and odder.
"Come on, we better get a move on and stop taking our time, people are starting to wonder what's going on." Stated Yulant worryingly as he watched people whisper.
Talac nodded and said, "Your right." Before picking up the pace with the rest of them.
"But look! Now they are getting suspicious as to why we sped up!" said Irtan and he tried to slow down a little, but to no success.
"Forget them for now." Talac said as they reached the building they were going to, "Lets just bring this thing inside to be analyzed."

Myst began to shiver slightly in the cold and damp cave. "Brr." She murmured to herself, her saiya-jin armor didn't exactly keep her warm in the coldness. She held out her hand and charged a small ball of ki so that she could see in the darkness of the cave. The ki ball illuminated the small cave, revealing it to be somewhat small, damp, and dreary. The cave extended a ways further as well. She decided to explore the cave before doing anything else.
After searching the cave thoroughly Myst came to the conclusion that nothing was living in the cave now, and nor did anything live there before.
"Guess I'll be staying here for the mean time." Commented Myst as she sat down on the moist floor and looked around. She lay down and looked up at the ceiling of the cavern, contemplating what she was going to do. She soon sat up and frowned at her surroundings, she needed to make a makeshift bed for herself so she didn't have to sleep on the cold floor.
She stood up and walked out of the cave into the light of the evening. The sun looked like it was going to go down in a few hours or so. Myst decided that the best material that she could use, and that was currently at hand, would be leaves, moss, and the like. After briefly looking around to make sure the coast was clear, Myst quickly walked into the forest and foraged for leaves and moss. After seconds she came across rather large leaves and large quantities of moss.
She gathered up as many leaves and as much moss as she could hold, then made her way back to the cave. As soon as she reached the cave mouth she made the decision to drop off the supplies in the cave and then check on her pod, not yet knowing that it was moved. She threw the leaves and moss into the cave and slowly walked towards where she thought the pod was.
Upon reaching the area where she had landed she stopped dead in her tracks, "Where is it?" she asked out loud, then spotted boot prints that weren't her own. `Why are there more boot prints?' she thought to herself, and then remembered the footsteps she had heard soon after she had fallen out of the pod.
She growled low under her breath, "I'll get my pod back, if it's the last thing I do!" she said, almost shouting, to the sky. `I mean, I don't want to stay on this planet for the rest of my life!' she sighed to herself and lifted up into the air and flew back to the cave.

Inside the building that the three members of the clean up crew brought the pod into, a team of technology experts were examining the pod. They were seeing if it really was a spaceship or just some hoax.
"Interesting…" commented a woman as she examined the buttons and the like of pod. "Its in no language I can deceiver." She stated while scratching her head curiously.
"If this is just a hoax then it is quite a believable one." Said man as he looked at the outside of it, "I mean, look at this hull, it looks like it could actually withstand traveling through the atmosphere."
Another man stared at his colleague, "Your kidding me, are you sure it can do that?" he said incredulously, "How do you know?" asked the man as he moved over to look at the hull.
"Well, I don't know if it can, but it sure looks that way… But I personally wouldn't want to test it out…" replied the first man, "But I do indeed think this is a real spaceship!"
The woman looked over at him and raised an eyebrow, "If it is, then its not from this planet, I mean I can't read this writing… Can you? It must have come from outer space…" she started, then paused as she looked around at the faces of the others.
"But if it did… Then where is what came in it?" asked a second woman, apparently saying what the first woman was thinking at the look on her face.
"Well, we haven't heard any reports of monsters or anything on the loose and terrorizing people… So that's good." Said one of the men.
"My guess is that whatever came in the ship is still in the forest somewhere…" commented the first woman thoughtfully.
The others stared at the woman before they all got up and walked towards the door.
"First dinner, then sleep, then breakfast, and then we go alien hunting." Stated one of the men as they walked towards the cafeteria.

Myst landed in front of the cave mouth and sighed heavily. How was she going to find out where her pod was? Let alone try to reclaim it. She looked down at her stomach as it growled very loudly, "Eh… I forgot that I haven't eaten since before I left home… I wonder how long ago that was…" she murmured to herself thoughtfully. "Ah well, guess I'll have to look for food first." She stated determinedly as she lighted another ki ball and walked into her cave.
"In the morning though… I'm tired right now." She said through a yawn as she arranged the leaves and moss into a bed for her to sleep on.
When she was finished she laid down on the makeshift bed and let the ball of ki go out so she was covered in complete darkness. She wasn't afraid of the dark, mainly because she knew that nothing had lived in the cave before. She sighed and closed her eyes, slowly falling into a deep and dream filled slumber.

Myst dreamed of the past, she could remember everything since she was born and almost every night after she turned 3 she had dreams about her rather short past. She slowly drifted off into a day when she was two after her father asked her mother that she didn't see that she clingged to her.
Akemi looked at her mate before looking down at their daughter, "I never thought of it that way…" she murmured before she looked up and into Takeshi's eyes, "Maybe I didn't want to think of it that way… Because when I think of that.. I think about what we will eventually have to do…" she stated in an almost hoarse whisper.
Her words hit Takeshi like a brick wall, he had forgotten that they would have to send their daughter to another planet and that they may never see her again. He hadn't wanted to remind his love of that. Takeshi walked over to his mate and wrapped his arms around her and their child, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to have that brought up." He whispered softly in her ear.
Akemi looked up at Takeshi, "I know you didn't, love… It's just… Its easy to forget." She stated as she gazed down at their daughter, "Who do you think she'll be more like? You or me?" she asked suddenly and dumbfounded Takeshi.
"I… uh… What?" he asked in total bewilderment.
"Who do you think she'll be like?" Akemi said and eyed her mate like he wasn't paying attention.
"Oh… Um…"

Author's Notes: Yeah, I think the first day on Dlaran-sai is long enough… I'd comment on it a little more, but its been a while since I actually wrote this part. *sweatdrops* Also, I may revise this, as well as the rest of it at some point to make it better, but I'm not sure…
