Bulma emerged from her plane and tossed her hair behind her shoulder. She examined her surroundings. Rough course yellow sand covered the entire island, leaving only small patches of grass. The sun gleamed of the pure blue see water, reflection all its beauty. A pink house lay in front of her. She closed her eyes and inhaled the sea air, this island really was paradise.

"Hey Bulma glade you could make it," Bulma turned to where she had heard the voice. Behind her stood a short noseless man, also known as Krillin. She had met him a few days ago when he had come to visit her father. He had encouraged her to come here and meet his old master. As well as seen Goku, the last time she had seen him was four months ago.

She smiled. "Hi Krillin," she greeted.

Krillin nodded. His face suddenly became full of worry. "Bulma I think I should warn you. my master.. he's a bit of a leech."

Bulma smile disappeared. "Really."

Right on queue an elderly man burst out of the house. "Where's the lady," he began scanning the island till his eyes fell on Bulma. He immediately ran up to her a lightning speed. Bulma moved back a bit in shock.

"Hey honey, what are you doing today?" He smiled a lecherous smile. Bulma looked at him in disgust, he had obviously failed to notice her pregnant stomach.

Krillin looked on in embarrassment. "She is pregnant you know."

At his words Master Roshi looked down at her stomach and backed off. "Dammit Krillin, when I ask you to bring me ladies I mean young ones. And ones large in the chest area!"

Krillin shook his head. It was obvious that he was used to this sort of behaviour from Roshi. "I have never brought you women and I never intend to."

"Damn you Krillin, can't you grant a dieing old man his final wish!"

"Since when have you been dieing?"

Roshi ignored his question and looked back at Bulma. He held out his hand "Master Roshi, master of the martial arts. And winner of the world tournament."

"Fifty years ago," added Krillin.

"Shut up Krillin!" he yelled. "And you are miss?.."

"Bulma Briefs."

Roshi paused and stared at her. He had known about Dr Briefs missing daughter for years. He, like everyone else, assumed she were dead and gone. It was a shock to finally meet her. If he were correct, she would have been missing for at least twenty years.

Bulma sighed. It was the same reaction from everyone whenever she said her name. And it was always the same question that followed.

"Don't ask where I've been for twenty years because I don't remember," she said before the master could open his mouth.

Roshi nodded and looked up at the sky. Krillin also. Bulma followed their eyes to see nothing but clouds slowly drifting across the blue sky.

"Well that'll be Goku," announced Roshi.

"Huh," Bulma continued to look up at the sky. Suddenly a cloud came speeding towards them. Bulma fell back in shock. She could feel her hands shaking. On top of the cloud rode Goku with a little boy.

"Hey Goku!" yelled Krillin.

"G..Goku," stuttered Bulma. Never in her life had she seen a flying cloud that could carry people. If she hadn't just seen it with her own eyes she would have never believed it.

Goku jumped off with the little boy in his arms. The cloud went speeding off in the opposite direction, leaving a white trail behind it.

Goku smiled. His eyes shined with the childish innocence they had never lost. "Hey everybody," he put the child down. He immediately hid behind Goku's leg, not letting any one see his face.

Bulma looked at the kid behind Goku's leg, he was obviously shy. She smiled warmly, she had grown found of children. After all she was expecting her own soon.

Goku introduced his son. "Bulma this is my son Gohan, Gohan say hi."

The boy walked out from behind his father leg. "Hello," he said meekly.

Bulma lowed herself to Gohan's eye level. Her eyes, like her smile flashed with warmth "It's nice to met you Gohan."

Gohan smiled, a small brown tail uncurled it's self from behind him. Bulma blinked in shock, the tail obviously belonged to Gohan.

Goku noticed the shocked expression of Bulma's face, he smiled "He was born with it, like I was," Goku said it as if it were no big deal.

Bulma eyes widened with shock. She stood up and examined Goku from head to toe, over and over again. Goku began to look uneasy "Your a Saiyan," she whispered.

Her remark took Goku by surprise. He immediately became confused. "A what?"

She held her hand up to her head, and closed her eyes, as if trying to remember something. "A Saiyan is.. a race from..the planet.." she opened her eyes. "I don't remember."

Goku began to scratch his head. "Look Bulma I don't know what your talking about, me and Gohan are human, what your saying makes no sense."

Gohan blinked as if he understood what Bulma was saying better than his father did.

Bulma sighed, and looked down at the ground. She felt so stupid, she often had these little outbursts of general knowledge she only knew. "Maybe your right Goku, my heads all messed up anyway. I don't know what I'm saying any more."

Goku nodded.

"I think I'll go lie down." she walked past master Roshi and into the house.

Master Roshi ran the entire conversation through his head. Over and over again. Unlike Bulma, what she had said had made perfect sense to him. He looked to Goku. "Goku I think you and I should go have a talk."

Goku's look of confusion turned to worry. He knew immediately that his old master knew something he didn't. "What is it Master Roshi?"

"Something that should be discussed only between you and I," he looked to Krillin. "Krillin please excuse us."

Krillin nodded, as if he could understand that it must have been important. He watched as his master lead Goku to the other side of the island.

Gohan stood where his father had left him. "What's going on Krillin?"

Krillin shook his head. "I dunno kid."

Goku and master Roshi returned a few moments later. Krillin could see that Goku looked different, there was something about him. Some thing that wasn't Goku. He had know him for years, and yet he had never seen him like this. Goku grabbed Gohan. "Come on Gohan lets go."

Krillin opened his mouth to protest. "But Goku you only just got here."

Goku ignored his friends words and took flight. He didn't even bother to call forth Kinto'un.

Krillin's eyes narrowed, he looked to Master Roshi. "What did you tell him?"

Master Roshi remained silent, he didn't know how to tell Krillin this. It was a very sensitive subject, especially for Goku.

Bulma emerged from the house. "Hey I think I'll now, thanks for letting me come over Roshi," she noticed the absence of Goku. "Where'd Goku go? Don't tell me I upset him," a look of regret flashed across her face.

Roshi shook his head. "No Bulma, that was the look of a man who had just lost his identity," his tone was full of nothing but seriousness.

Krillin narrowed his eyes further. "What do you mean?"

Roshi sighed. "Lets just say Goku wasn't who he thought he was."

Krillin nodded. He knew he could get any more of an answer from his old master.

Roshi turned to Bulma. "Tell me girl, how did you know?"

Bulma shrugged. "I don't know... I just knew."

Roshi nodded, Bulma began to feel uneasy. It was like everyone around her, they all judged her by the way she talked and acted. Trying to figure out what she had done. Every time she knew something that no one else did, she could practically feel the theories rushing through their heads. She could almost hear them thinking 'was she this, was she that.' It made her feel extremely uncomfortable. She had suffered a month of people continuously asking her where she had been. Why couldn't they just leave her alone. She couldn't remember. And if she was lucky she would. It didn't matter to her.

Her father actually tried to suggest hypnosis. She told him to go get stuffed. She was happy, nothing else mattered.

Bulma walked over to her plane, avoiding eye contact. She hopped in before they could ever open their mouths to ask a question.

She flicked the on button, the engine roared to life. Bulma leaned out the side window. "Cya!" She yelled even though she knew they probably couldn't hear her over the engine.

Krillin watched as the plane took flight. It was obvious that Bulma wanted to get away. He couldn't blame her. If he were responsible for Goku storming off like, that he would feel guilty too. He bit his lower lip and looked to master Roshi.

The eyes behind the old masters sunglasses shined with the wisdom they possessed. "She knows a lot that girl," he commented.

Krillin nodded. "Makes you wonder."

Roshi watched as her plane flew out of site. His expression turned to an old master, an expression he rarely displayed. "I have a feeling we'll find out some day."

*Bulma's memory maybe lost, but she can still remember small pieces of general info.*

Read "The girl inside" the summary may look crap, but the story is highly addictive.

I CAN'T UPDATE FOR TWO WEEKS. I have to go on holiday to the most boring place on earth. 70% of the population is retired, and the only thing to do is fish and play bowls(They probably wouldn't let us play though). There's supposed to be a library somewhere, but I couldn't find it last time. So if they do have a computer there I might actually get to update.
