Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ The past is better forgotten ❯ Flashback Part VI ( Chapter 10 )
I rushed into writing this chapter and it sucked, so I've rewritten it in more detail.. As I said before a few chapters ago, I'M ADDING DEPTH.
Trust me what you have seen so far of theses flashback scenes had been edited a hundred times the original draft was pathetic.
This story is now available on efanfiction.net, mediaminer.org, fanfics.org, http://clix.to/missq , as well as FF.net

Bulma looked at the sleeping figure of Vegeta that was lying next to her. Oh how she just longed to yell out how much she hated him. To scratch his face apart with her nails till there was nothing left.
The common soldier had no right, absolutely no right at all to take what he had taken from her. What gave him the right to take her life and freedom. So that if everyone ever found out he could walk round with her like his trophy. His pretty little whore and nothing more.
It was probably great and wonderful for him. He now had his personal little sex toy that would give him some whenever he felt like it. One that he would spend the rest of his miserable life with, so that he would never be alone.
Bulma sat up and looked his naked body down. Fuck him for being so handsome. His large mussels and dark tanned skin were absolutely desirable. The sort of thing young virgin girls dream about in their sleep.
He had already given her some over the past few hours, but just looking at him made her want more. It was like some stupid craving in her mind that could only be satisfied when he was on top of her, with his lips against hers, kissing her passionately with his tongue in her mouth, while he…….. Bulma shook the thoughts out of her head. What was wrong with her, never had she been this obsessed with a guy she hated. It was as if her entire mind had gone haywire.
Bulma looked over to her bedside table and noticed a small ornament. It was of a flower and was slightly smaller then her hand, made of some clay or foreign materiel. She raised it above her head. Time Vegeta got a wake up call.
As she lowered her hand to smash it against his skull, his had came shotting up and grabbed her wrist. Holding it tightly so she couldn't continue through with the action. "I wouldn't do that if I were you."
Bulma growled and let go of the ornament. It fell onto the covers unbroken. "Damn you," she muttered under her breath.
Vegeta smirked. "Were you planning to bash that against my head?" He gave her a look as if he were daring her to do it.
Bulma let out another growl. "What do you think," she gave him a look full of spite.
He grabbed her hand and pulled her on top of him. Bulma could instantly feel her heartbeat execrate as he began to run his fingers through her hair. Examining every detail of her beautiful face and inhaling her sweet sent.
"I really hate you," she muttered. She wanted to scream the words in his ear but was unable to.
The words brought a slight stab to his heart. He had no idea why, it wasn't as if he deeply loved her. But he did feel a slight attachment towards her. As if he longed for her whenever they were a part. "Why?"
She felt like laughing. Why, he actually asked why. Was he really that thick not to be able to figure it out himself. The answer was right smack bang in his face. "You stole my life, what do you think."
Vegeta snorted. "And what exactly were you planning to do with your life?"
His question confused her. What did he mean by 'what was she going to do with her life?' trust him to ask her a question like that. "What do you mean?"
He brushed a hair out of her face. By the look in her eyes he could tell the question confused her. "Were you planning to prance around like a whore till your dieing day?"
Bulma gritted her teeth. He knew she hated the word. That she could never stand being called a whore. Every time he called her one she felt like nothing more than a slut that pleased men. A girl without a life or future. A person that would be a sex slave till the day she died. And what she hated the most was the fact the word described her at that very moment. She could forever be called Vegeta's whore, and she refused to except it. "For the last time I am not a bloody whore."
Vegeta smirked. He loved it when she was angry. He loved the fire that burned within her deep blue eyes whenever she was full of rage. It make her seem more Saiyan. Even though his race was long gone he still preferred women that resembled the extinct females. "That's what you say."
She narrowed her eyes. He'd had his fun messing with her, now it was her turn to get to him, and she knew exactly just how to do it. "You think your so tough don't you?" she lowered the pitch of her voice. "I'm Vegeta and I think I'm soooooo great, I think I'll go kill Freeza now…. But wait I'm not strong enough."
Vegeta looked at her annoyed, he suddenly wasn't in the mood any more. "Get off," he rolled her off him.
She smirked, she knew her words had gotten to him. And she knew very well from his reaction that every single one was true. "But it's true isn't it, you couldn't even put a dent in him."
He got off the bed and began to collect up his clothes. He noticed the way Bulma was eyeing him as he began to get dressed. For someone who despised him she sure didn't show it in bed. Maybe that was the advantage of the bond. No matter what she felt for him she would always come willingly, she would always satisfy him even if she wanted him dead. He looked back at the smug expression on her face. "You'll see, one day that bastard will die."
Bulma sat and wrapped the covers around her naked body, she didn't really like the way Vegeta kept starring at her with that look in his eyes. The ever present look that said he wanted her. "Yeah sure Freeza will die…. From old age."
Vegeta grinned as he began to imagine in graphic detail what he would do to Freeza when he became strong enough. "No from a long a painful death."
Bulma sighed and shook her head. The Saiyan race was truly arrogant. "And you say I'm full of myself."
He smirked. "You are."
Bulma screwed her face up. Would she have to spend the rest of her life putting up with him and his petty insults. She would have torn all her hair out by the time she was thirty. "Are you going to spend the rest of your life annoying me."
His smirk widened. "Most probably," He leaned forward over the bed and kissed her one last time before he left the room.
Bulma watched as he shut the door behind him. She let out a sigh. God that man was the most arrogant piece of shit on the face of the planet. It annoyed her how he just went prancing around, acting as if he were king. Oh course he would have been if it hadn't been for Freeza.
That reminded her, he was one of Freeza's greatest enemies. If he were to rebel openly against him, and died. She would be gone too. She cursed herself. She had been stupid, no really stupid to get herself into this situation. Her life was practically already gone. Why couldn't he have bonded himself to one of the whores. They had nothing to lose, they wouldn't care that if he died they would die. But then of course Vegeta was too good for that, he would have to have the most sophisticated hard to reach woman on the planet. A prince would never except anything lower. Even if his planet was gone he would never stop acting like a stuck up royal.
She let out another sigh. It was strange though, even though he had just left she was sort of already missing him. Not desperately, but slightly. As if she would prefer him here then gone. As much as she god damn hated it she couldn't deny it. She blamed it yet again on the stupid bond, after all she refused to blame herself.
Vegeta made his way to the gravity room. As always he had scheduled to train with Raditz, as he did often when ever he had the time. He refuse to associate with Brolly, he could swear the Saiyan was more on Freeza's side then there's. Brolly had a sinister aura about him, as if he had to choose between Freeza and his people he would choose the tyrant for security. Brolly looked to cowardly to be able to refuse Freeza's offers for information. Vegeta refused to talk to him.
It was funny like that. He's taken one of Freeza's most loyal followers as a mate, and yet he refused to talk to a Saiyan who'd go snitching to the enemy. It was just plainly ironic and stupid. And yet he would trust Bulma more than Brolly. For one she would never tell anyone anything, for the fear she would be killed for betraying her master. Although she would never go so far as to plot against him, she thought to highly of Freeza to dare make a move like that.
He reached the gravity room. It wondered him for the first time if Bulma had been the superior mind who had designed it. After all it did seem like something she would invent. Half the scientists were dumb asses anyway.
As he entered Raditz had already arrived and was training at x100. Vegeta instantly snickered, the fool was unable to get past 150. Even though his strength was pathetic compared to his own, Raditz was his preferred sparring partner. Mainly because he was the closest person to his power.
As soon as Raditz had noticed the princes arrival, he instantly stoped and bowed. Call it a habit but he was taught since a child to respect royalty no matter what.
Vegeta crossed his arms. "Quit your bowing Raditz and spar."
Raditz nodded and got into a sparring position, Vegeta did the same.
After an intense three hour sparring session Vegeta decided to end it. He could feel his mind wondering the entire time. Thoughts of Bulma and other things kept flooding his mind and distraction him. For once Raditz was able to get a few kicks and punches in.
Raditz wiped the sweat off his forehead and stared at his prince. The guy wasn't with it today. It was something strange about him, like he wasn't really concentrating on the moves he was making. It wasn't something that usually happened, the prince was almost always on task, never letting his mind wonder.
Vegeta switched the gravity off. "Let's end it for today Raditz."
Raditz nodded. "You do remember about tonight Vegeta?"
Vegeta looked at Raditz blankly, he felt as if he should know something, except he was unable to remember. "What?"
Raditz eyes widened, the prince really wasn't with it today. "God Vegeta don't tell me you've forgotten, we leave for a purge tonight, remember."
Vegeta gritted his teeth. Dammit, he had completely forgotten about Freeza's stupid purge of some planet. As far as he knew he would be gone for at least two weeks, Freeza said it would be an easy world to conquer. "I remember now," Vegeta turned and left the room, he had to go tell Bulma.
The entire surface of Ice sei was nothing more than snow and ice, a frozen wasteland. Once every few kilometres you could be lucky enough to see a rock poking out of the snow. But other than that the only true landmarks were the small cites were the Ice-jins lived. Although they couldn't really be called cities or towns, more like large villages.
To Bulma the planet had always looked empty, as if it were deprived of life. As a child she had spent most of her free time looking up planets on the computer record. For some reason she had always had a fascination with green planets, to her they had always looked beautiful. She could remember spending hours just looking them up and studding the pictures. Then Zarbon would walk in and tell her to get off and do more useful things with her time.
Bulma sighed as she looked out at the planet through the viewing room. To be quite honest she couldn't be bothered going back to work. She simply couldn't be stuffed doing anything. So she had come up here to the top level of the palace and spent the last thirty minutes looking out at the planet.
The viewing room was built with the walls as windows. So it was possible to look out at the planet at all sides without having to brave the freezing cold. Bulma came here often to think. Everyone else in the palace was too busy to come up here so she was almost always alone.
She reached out and touched the cold glass. Sometimes she felt almost like a prisoner within the four walls of the palace, as if she was restricted to do nothing but what she was told. But yet she could never complain, she had it good. She had food, work, a large room, security. And yet as she remembered back to all the pictures she had seen of other planets, she felt caged. As if she was doomed never to see anything but the cold wasteland that stood before her.
"I need to talk to you."
The voice took her by surprise. As she turned round she knew instantly that it was Vegeta. "I hate it when you do that, don't you make any sound?"
He smirked. "I like to see you jump."
Bulma turned back and stared at the planet. She ignored Vegeta who was behind her.
In that second Vegeta noticed something. The way she looked out at the planet with so much sadness, it was something that he never noticed before. Then it hit him. She was never able to remember the place where she came from, she was never able to remember her home. Even though she said she didn't care, he could see deep down that even though she didn't want to remember, she felt empty without knowing.
Even though she didn't know it herself he could tell she felt lonely. After all she was the only one of her race on the entire planet. And to add to that she didn't even know what race she was part of, let alone where her planet was.
He walked up and put his arms around her waist and pulled her close. She didn't struggle or protest. She just remained deadly quiet as she continued to stare out at the wasteland that stretched for miles.
He studied the expression on her face, it was completely empty. "I leave tonight."
She looked up at him. "Why?"
He sighed. "I've got to go purge some stupid planet for Freeza, I'll be gone for at least two weeks."
Bulma nodded and turned her attention back at the planet. She preyed that one day she could look out a window and see something other than white.

Ok I am slowly trying to build a relationship between Bulma and Vegeta. And I'll get there eventually.
Anyway what do you think. I would say my writing has improved since chapter 1, I'm starting to use more detail and sounding a lot more sophisticated.
I admit my first story for FF.net sucked. And I don't mean sucked, I mean really really really sucked. I got about 15 reviews for 9 chapters. I actually removed it since I quite writing it and it was unfinished. I've got entire page on my web site devoted to my crap stuff, to see it go to……………. http://diehorse.topcities.com/fanfic/crap.html
*The number of reviews I'm getting is thinning, is it because people can't be stuffed reviewing? Or is my story becoming boring? If it is becoming less interesting I swear it'll get better once these flashbacks are done.*
