I dont own Dragon Ball/Z/GT or anything like that,now i've said that you cant sue me.So
there,HAH!


This fic does not exactly follow the Dragon Ball Z anime.This fic goes as if the series
finished after the Cell Saga.However I am going to assume the following things from after
the cell saga still happened.Gohan and Videl got married and had a dughter named Pan,Goten
was born to Goku and Chi-Chi,Goku has powered up to SSJ 3 and Vegeta has powered up to SSJ 2.
This is a 'real-life' fic,Dragon Ball Z in our world.Because of this the Dragon Ball
characters dont live on Earth they live on a planet I'm simply going to call Omega.Right,I
(the writer) am going to be the main character,(It's my story,why not?) with my family and
friends also in the fic.Right,thats the explanation done with,now to start the story.


The Saiyan Saga - Part 1 - The Beginning


I was just on ordinary 16 year old kid living with my family.I had friends and everything
any normal boy would have.Then something happened that changed my life and the lives of a
lot of other people for that matter.It all started last year...


It started when some strange things started happening around town.First rare jewels began
vanishing from Musuems and Jewellery shops,before long a few people started dissappearing
too.Nobody knew what was happening and a few people began to panic,they were called
paranoid by most people,the only problem is,they were right to panic.It wasn't long before
the cause of all this trouble came out.One night,a strange man appeared in an alleyway
downtown,noone was around so he was un-noticed.He began to follow the trail of a strange
energy signature.It wasn't long before he came to a house,my house.I was asleep at the time
but my parents were wide awake because they knew what was coming,being Saiyans,they could
feel it.It was then the strange man from the alleyway smashed through their window.They
jumped up ready to fight and I jumped out of bed and into their room,only to see the window
smashed in and a strange man standing in my home.I had no idea who he was but before I could
think about it he had his hands around my neck.

Me:what?Ugh!

He was choking off my air supply.I tried to pull his arms away but they felt like steel and
I just couldn't move them.

Man:Give me what I want or I'll kill him.

Mom:What do you want?Just tell us and you can have it.

Man:Good.I'm glad to see you have some sense.

The man let go of my neck and I fell to the floor gasping for air.My Mom rushed over to help
me while my Dad spoke with the man.

Man:Now,where is the Jewel?

Dad:What Jewel?I dont know what you're talking about.

Man:The ancient jewel of the Saiyans.Where is it?

Dad:What makes you thik we have it?It was destroyed along with our planet 20 years ago,you
should know that.

Mom:Are you alright son?

Me:I think so.What's going on?

Mom:I have something to admit to you David.You're not human,you're a Saiyan,one of the last
of your race.I'm sorry we never told you but we thought you weren't ready yet.

Me:I'm not human?Just what is a Saiyan then?

Mom:Just a minute.We sealed away your Saiyan abilities when you were born,I'm going to
un-seal them now.Don't be alarmed,you'll feel stronger and a little strange but that's
only natural,ready?

Me:I guess.

My Mom placed her hand on my head and closed her eyes.I started to feel weird and I could
feel the strength and energy flow into my body.Unfortunatly the strange man could also feel
what was happening to me.

Man:What are you doing?Why is his power increasing?You're unsealing his powers aren't you?
STOP IT NOW!

The man ran towards us just as my Mom moved away and almost collapsed.I was worried about
my Mom but more scared than I had ever been in my entire life.Somethig inside me just told
me to put my arms out and focus myself.I just did it and a huge energy blast came from my
hands and forced the man straight out of the window and he fell to the ground below.

Me:What was that?What has happened to me?

Dad:These are your Saiyan abilities.You're much more powerful than we thought you were.

Mom:Were sorry we kept it from you all these years,we were going to tell you when you were
18 but when this came up we had no choice.

Dad:It isn't over yet.He's just winded,he's still outside.Son,wait here.I'll take care of
this.

My dad jumped out of the window.I wanted to go and help but my Mom wouldn't let me go.

Me:We have to help him.Let me go!

Mom:Your father can handle this.We just have to trust him.

I listened as I heard what sounded like a fight going on outside before I saw my Dad go
flying upwards past the window as if he had been hit followed by the strange guy.The next
thing I saw was a reversal,the man had been hit into the ground and my dad had the
advantage again.I heard some more fighting before I could hear speaking.My hearing was
much more sensitive now.I could hear them like they were in the room.

Man:You're finished.Hand over the crystal and maybe I'll spare your lives and this planet.

Dad:You'll never find the crystal.Only the chosen Saiyan can control it.

Man:We will see soon enough.Now,I'm going to enjoy killing you.

Me:NO!

I broke free of my Mom and jumped out of the window.

Me:AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!

I slammed my fist into the mans face and threw him back.

Me:Stay away from my dad!

I threw another energy beam at the man without thinking.I didn't really know what I was
doing I just did what my instincts told me.I ran over to the guy and launched a kick into
his chest throwing him upwards.I jumped after him and put my fists together,then throwing it
as hard as I could into his chest.The man landed on the ground creating a crater about 10
feet across.I landed back on the ground next to my dad.My mom had come down to help him but
ended up catching me when I fell back.I was exhausted.

Mom:Are you alright David?

Me:I'm ok.

Dad:Good,now I'll handle this.

My dad walked over to the guy who was picking himself up off the floor.He looked badly
injured.

Dad:Leave this planet and never come back.

Man:You haven't seen the last of me.

With that the man flew into the air and dissappeared.I just got a feeling he wasn't around
anymore and I just knew that he wasn't on the planet.

Dad:Lets go inside.We need to talk.

We went inside and all sat down in the living room.

Me:So,exactly what's going on?

Dad:Well,as you know now,You're a Saiyan,not a human.

Mom:Years ago our planet was destroyed by an evil being called Freiza.We don't know what
happened to him or if any other Saiyans survived,but we were off the planet at the time.

Me:Why?

Mom:The Saiyans had always been a warlike race,but we didn't really agree with it so we left
the planet.Soon after we heard about the destruction of our planet so we came here.We
found Earth a much more peaceful planet and it's very secluded.No other inhabited
planets anywhere near here,so there was little chance of others coming this far out.

Dad:A few years later you were born.

Mom:Since you were a Saiyan we had to have the birth here at home on our own.If it had been
in a hospital the doctors would have noticed your tail and...

Me:Hang on.Tail!?!?

Dad:Yes,all Saiyans are born with a tail.When a Saiyan with a tail sees a full moon he or
she transforms into a giant ape called an Oozaru and our power is increased by 10 times.

Mom:When we arrived we had to cut off our own tails and had to cut off yours when you were
born.Once a Saiyans tail is cut off,it will never grow back though.

Dad:It was a sacrifice we had to make to be able to live on Earth.

Mom:So now you know everything.

Me:So what now?I suppose I have to keep this a secret?

Mom:Absolutely!No-one must ever know about us.

Me:Well it could be hard to explain this.

I flexed my arm which already had much bigger muscles than before.

Mom:Just tell people you've been working out a lot.Pumping weights and stuff.

Me:That could work I suppose.

Dad:And we'll start training tommorrow.

Me:Training?

Dad:You're very strong David,already stronger than anybody on this planet,except me and
your mother of course,but your still fairly weak for a Saiyan.

Me:Thanks a lot.

Dad:I don't mean anything by it.But you need to get stronger and learn more abilities.

Me:Like that weird energy beam from before?

Dad:Yes,but you only managed that in a moment of rage.You couldn't do it now if you wanted
to.I'll teach you all the attacks I know and help you discover your own special attack.

Me:Special attack?

Mom:Every Saiyan has their own unique attack.Mine is the Sonic Punch.

Dad:And mine is the Energy Tornado.

Me:So no other Saiyan knows these attacks?

Dad:We could teach them to you.It'll be hard for you to master them but I'm sure you can do
it.

Me:Well when do we start?

Mom:Tommorrow.Right now,let's get some sleep.When you 2 go out training I'll have the
window fixed.

Me:OK Mom.

We left and headed upstairs.I went into my room and closed the door.I got into my bed and
before going to sleep I looked at my hands.

Me:I'm a Saiyan.Possibly one of the last of my kind.I have to treasure this and only use
it for good.I can't let this power consume me.

With that I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep...
