Vegeta slammed his foot into the back of Buu's head causing the beast to fall flat on his face. Vegeta landed and looked down in disgust at his nemesis.

"Is this the best your monster can do Badii? The `terror' of the universe. Pathetic," Vegeta called out to the monster's creator.

"Okay ladies it looks good."

Vegeta, Badii, and Buu all looked in the direction of the door.

Ashley smiled approvingly. "I think that should be enough rehearsal. It's going to look great tonight."

As Buu staggered to his feet, Badii walked over to him. When he reached him, the two fused and then returned to their usual blond headed beauty form.

Leaza ran a hand through her hair and smiled. "Good, because I think Mona here is trying to kill me."

Vegeta cocked an eyebrow as his hair started to fall and his features began to change. He blinked and his eyes turned a soft brown. His smirk, then turned to a smile that was pure Mona. She crossed her arms and then looked at Leaza. "Ashley asked me to go full Veggie and do you think Vegeta would hold anything back?"

"Whatever," Leaza said nonchalantly as she walked out the door.

Mona turned to Ashley with a sigh. "I really don't think anyone understands my dedication to this part."

Ashley held back a smile as she said seriously, "I understand Mona."

"At least someone does," Mona said as she walked out the door.

"She's something else isn't she?"

Ashley was startled at the sound behind her.

"Jasmine? What are you doing here?" she asked as she turned around.

Jasmine motioned to the script in her hand. "I was keeping line for Mona and Leaza. Come on we can walk each other out."

The two were walking down the hall talking when a white dove landed and turned into a blue flame before them. They watched as the flame turned into a beautiful woman with flashing green eyes and red and white hair.

"Hello Messager," Ashley said.

Messager quickly fell to her knees.

"Princesses," she said with her head down.

"You may stand," Jasmine said.

"What can we do for you?" Ashley asked once she was on her feet.

"I have a letter from the Council for you, Princess," she said handing the letter to Ashley.

Ashley quickly read over the letter then smiled at Messager. "Thank you, Messager. Tell the Council I will have them a complete list of our entries by tomorrow."

Messager nodded her head then the blue flame consumed her again.

Jasmine looked at Ashley expectantly. "Well…" she said when Ashley made no attempt to tell her.

"The Eternal Combat Championships are coming up again."

"So soon?" Jasmine said in surprise.

"Yeah. Will you do me a favor? Call a meeting in about 20 minutes so I can tell everyone."

"Sure Ash. See you in 20."

35 minutes later…

"… so I'll be assigning training room times from now until the tournament," Ashley finished.

"I can't believe the tournaments already here!" Tina said excitedly.

Everyone smiled. The girl was the current years champion after having beaten Ashley (who had been the reigning champ for nearly a hundred years) the year before in her first tournament appearance.

"Now the most important thing is finding some competition for us to train with. Anyone have any suggestions?" Ashley said.

"I'll take Goku," Michael said.

Everyone chuckled.

"Very funny Mike, but we need real people. Okay guys, that's all I wanted to talk to you about. Ladies I'll see you in one hour in the theater. Show starts at 7:45. See you then."

Vegeta sat staring angrily at his bathroom door. He had been sitting on his bed since 5:40 ready to go. It was 6:10 and the woman and his daughter weren't ready yet. He had sent the boy to help the girl get ready. She was only three years old and yet it took his daughter almost as long as his mate to get ready.

He looked at the clock and watched it which over to 6:11. He began rubbing his left temple, trying his best to calm down. `If the woman would hurry up, we could go, do the stupid play thing, and come home.' It was the perfect plan. Unfortunately his family wasn't going along with it. He considered yelling at her to hurry up, but he had been with her long enough to know that it would be a waste of energy. And if there was one thing Vegeta hated it was to waste energy.

He let his head fall back and stared at the ceiling. How Bulma could always talk him into something he didn't want to do was a mystery to him.

"Dad, she's ready," Trunks said entering the room with Bra walking behind him.

Vegeta looked his children over. Finding nothing wrong with them, he sent them to the car. "Make sure your sister has on her seat belt."

"Sure dad," Trunks said as he dragged Bra out.

Vegeta watched his children leave and found himself smirking. They weren't so bad (once you got use to them). His frown returned when he turned back to the bathroom door.

"I'm ready!" Bulma called in a singsong voice from behind the door.

"Then hurry up!" Vegeta said mimicking the voice.

Bulma opened the door and stepped out. He gave her form fitting black pants and butterfly covered halter-top a long once-over. `Maybe the wait hadn't been a complete waste of time' he thought.

Bulma smiled at the obvious look of approval in her husband's eyes.

"You like?" she asked as she turned slowly to give him the full effect.

"It's adequate," he said in typical Vegeta form. "Are you ready to go, now?" he asked irritably.

"Yeah just as soon as I make sure the kids-" she started.

"…are ready to go," Vegeta finished for her.

"Oh. Well then I'm ready," she said walking towards the door.

They walk to living room where they found the kids.

"Boy. I thought I told you to take her to the car," Vegeta said motioning towards his daughter.

Trunks held his hands up in defense. "I tried to Dad, but she had to say good-bye to `little' Vegeta first."

Vegeta looked at the bird in disgust. "Whatever. Put the creature back in his cage and let's go."

Bra was about to protest but her father gave her `the look' so, she kissed her parrot and put him back in his cage. She then walked out the door her arms crossed and her chin stuck in the air. Vegeta shook his head then looked over at his mate who seemed to be fighting a smile.

Bulma held her hands in the air as she walked towards the door. "I didn't say a word," she said.

They picked up everyone then stopped for dinner (buffet of course). After the Saiyans got there fill (or close to it) they headed for theater.

"I'm sooo excited about this show!" Videl said.

"I've never seen a play. Is it fun, mama?" six year old Marron asked her mother.

"Yes it is," 18 assured her daughter.

"What are we seeing Bulma?" Yamucha asked.

"I'm not sure. I told my secretary to buy enough seats to the first family show she could find. She left the tickets on my desk so I never got a chance to ask her," Bulma said from the driver's seat. "But I'm sure whatever it is it will be good."

"It better be," Vegeta mumbled from the passenger's seat.

They walked into the theater lobby. An usher took their tickets and led them to the preferred customer seating.

"Bulma, these are really great seats," ChiChi said as she sat next to her friend.

"You're telling me," Bulma said looking around the stadium in awe.

"This Magic must be really something. Look at all these people," Goku said.

Just then the house lights began to blink, signaling the start of the show. The whole audience became quiet as the lights dimmed. All was quiet until the sound of footsteps began to come from the stage. The lights slowly came up on a short figure standing center stage. The being's skin was a light silvery blue that made him look mystical. He had a Mohawk and two ball shaped earrings dangling from his ears. There was a secretive smile on his face that seemed to say he knew things a mere human could never understand. He was beautiful.

The Z fighters were blown away.

"It-it-can't be," Gohan stuttered.

"But it is," Krillin said in amazement.

"It's-it's-" Vegeta started.

"…the Supreme Ki," Goku finished in shock.

"Hello friends. Tonight you will enter a very special world. The world of Dragonball Z. So sit back and relax as Magic presents to you the best action cartoon on the planet," the Supreme Ki said as a intro. "Now without further ado, I present to you the newest, never before seen episodes, in America anyway, of Dragonball Z."

"Dragonballs?" Goku murmured.

"How could they know about the Dragonballs?" Bulma asked.

The lights went down on the Ki. The lights came back on to reveal three female figures standing on three high platforms. The woman to left had straight black hair pulled into a neat bun, her hands behind her back. The woman to the right had blond hair that hung close to her shoulders, her hands also behind her back. The center woman had short blue hair and had her hands laced in front of her.

"Mommy, that you!" Bra cried.

Bulma nodded distractedly as she looked at the look alike on the stage. The resemblance was astonishing.

"Last time on Dragonball Z," the Bulma look alike began.

"Vegeta was attack from within," 18 continued.

"All the anger, hate, and disappointment that once ruled Vegeta returned," ChiChi said.

As the ladies continued their recap the Z group watched in silent amazement. When the show began, they wore even more shocked. They watched the battle between Goku and Vegeta. They watched Buu's vicious attacks on Duabra, Gohan, and the Supreme Ki. They looked on with pride as Vegeta pummeled the monster Buu, then in pain as Vegeta was violently beaten by the creature. They all enjoyed a bittersweet moment as Vegeta said goodbye to his son. Trunks blushed all the way through the scene. Vegeta grunted as he heard the woman sniffling beside him. In a great show of light, Vegeta disappeared. Once again the lights on two of the high platforms came on. Two male figures step out.

"Next time on Dragonball Z," Goku began.

"Vegeta is gone, but there's no time to mourn the fallen super saiyan," Gohan finish.

The men finished their preview and then that all-famous DBZ theme song (the American version) came on. Each character came out to take their bow and as they did they returned to their original forms.

"They're all girls," Goten said in disbelief.

The last characters to bow were Goku, ChiChi, Vegeta, and Bulma. In another show of light, Goku and ChiChi and Vegeta and Bulma fused to reveal two female forms.

Ashley and Mona waited for the cheering crowd to calm down before starting to close the show.

"Did you all have fun tonight?!" Mona asked the crowd.

The roar from the crowd was answer enough. Ashley and Mona both laughed at the crowd's excitement.

"So Mona," Ashley said as she turned to her partner "what was your favorite thing about tonight's show?"

"Umm," Mona said pretending to think really hard. "I think my favorite thing about the show was that Vegeta was the star! What do you guys think?" she asked the crowd.

The excited cheers filled the theater.

The entire Z family looked in Vegeta's direction.

"Looks like you're pretty popular Vegeta," Goku said.

Vegeta only raised that cocky eyebrow, then returned his attention to the stage.

Ashley chuckled as the crowd finally calmed down. "Whatever you say Mona," was all she said before turning to the audience. "I'm glad you all enjoyed yourselves tonight. On the behalf of Magic, I thank you all for making our first Dragonball Z show a success. And for all of you who bought the premium packages, we have a great party waiting for you. Good night and God bless." Ashley and Mona turned and left the stage.

The audience began making their way towards the exits. The Z family, though, just stayed in their seats.

"How did they look so much like us Dad?" Trunks asked his father.

Vegeta shook his head. "They not only looked like us they…they…"

"Felt like us," Gohan finished.

"Felt like us?" ChiChi asked.

"They mean they felt like our ki's," Goku explained.

"What I don't understand is how they were so accurate about the things that happened to us," 18 said.

"Yeah, I mean, most of that stuff we wore the only ones who saw what happened," Krillin added.

"Well," Bulma said as she stood up and began grabbing her things, "we won't know anything if we just sit here talking. I suggest we get to that party and find some answers."

Everyone nodded in agreement and followed Bulma out the door.
