PART II

THE ADVENTURE BEGINS

The cloaked man called up;

"Well,hurry up then.What planet is your origin?"

"We are Earthlings....our errand is....."Gohan said.He turned to Dr.Briefs."Seeing a relative"Dr.Briefs told the man.

"Come this way.I am Bypara."said the man.He turned around and walked them along a pathway through the planes.It was hot and stuffy and the travellers walked slowly,tied down by their gear.

"You have family and dealings with Imushiki?"Bypara asked them.

"Yes!"Dr.Briefs said.

"Take a complementary map"he said,handing a peice of paper to Gohan.They strode through a huge buildings,people of many different races conversing.It was crowded and hot.Bypara led them to a desk.They all sat,Trunks taking out a can and gulping.His attention began to wander as Dr.Briefs signed some papers.They waved farewell to Bypara and set out.

"Well",Dr.Breifs said,as they clambered up a green hill,"we must journey to the town of Ikilia.Named after the beast that the six-star dragonball releases"

"The six-star dragonball is in this Ikilia place then?"Trunks asked,eating something like a chocolate.

"Yep!Just there!"Gohan said,consulting the map Bypara placed in his care.A bundle of villages linked by a road that met in a huge circle in the center were scattered about a huge valley,surrounded by hills,green and tall.A forest lay to the far right,which was dense.It covered one of the mountains,and on the other side was a huge lake,with fresh water running down from the mountains that loomed there.Over here on small hills dwelt,with paths to climb up.

"Great isnt it,Trunks?"Gohan said,staring at the stunning landscape.

"What?"Trunks said through a moutful of food.

"Trunks you really do take after my dad!"Gohan said,laughing.Trunks pulled out his gameboy and began tapping buttons.

"This way!"Dr.Briefs announced.

They reached the village,which was large and more of a town.People were trading goods and children played happily through the streets.All except Trunks were happy and at peace with the world.Trunks was shooting up aliens on his Mega infestation beasts IV;Superdoom returns and sucking coke through a long straw.

They soon reached a welcoming Inn and booked a few nights there.They werent sure how long the capture of the dragonball would take,and what the monster Ikilia actually was.

It was nightfall when they crept out.All were asleep as they darted into the trees.

"Grandpa,can you fight?"Trunks asked."Because you'll need to fight if you go on an adventure like this!"

"Of course I can.You just wait"he told him.A silver light beamed across his face.

"Get down!"he yelled.A silver ball,many times as large as Earth Dragonballs darted through the air.It smashed into Dr.Briefs,and kept on doing so,pulverizing his old body.Trunks dived in the way but was knocked back into a nearby tree.Gohan,amazed,ran in and jumped on the ball.It flew up knocking his head back,via-chin,sending Gohan flying.The silver ball exploded and a huge beast jumped out.They looked on in horror as a giant,green tiger like beast crept out of a hovering silver light.It fired a defeaning beam out of its mouth and into the sky,destroying trees on its way.It howled,chilling the bones on all of them.The first beast of the dragon was upon them.It slashed Gohan's orange robes,ripping them through the middle into shreds.Gohan fired his kamehameha wave,kncoked the beast back through a clump of trees.

"Lets get out of here!"Trunks yelled.The beast jumped on his back and knocked him to the ground,crushing him under its weight.Beams came out of its eyes,but Trunks kicked up,making it fly high into the sky.As it began to fall,the all ran,blooded and cold.The wind swept their faces,as fear gripped them.A roar signalled the beast was on their tail.It jumped onto the battered Dr.Breifs and pushed its claws through his flesh in rage.Dr.Breifs grunted and fell,unconciuss.

"Oh no,grandpa!"Trunks said,turning round.As the beast was about to maul him to death,SSJ trunks stepped in and kicked the beast back far through the forest.

"Grandpa?Grandpa!"Trunks cried despretly.Gohan slung Dr.Briefs over his back and they took off into the air.The beast howled and began to chase,lurching its heavy body as high as it could.They reached the village,to see all the doors locked.

"Oh no,they've heard the howl!Were doomed!"Trunks said.The beast smashed through the edge of the forest and kncoked over a begger sleeping in the street and ripped open his body,tearing up the flesh to feed itself.

"No....look away Trunks"Gohan said,staring down.They flew up on top of the nearest buildings.The beast,blood smearing its face,sniffed the air.

"Surely its not still hungry,right Gohan?Right Gohan??!"Trunks whispered in a scared voice.The shadows and darkness blocked the beast from veiw,until it was upon them.

"Trunks,take your grandpa to the nearest village and warn them"

"but-

"NOW!"Gohan said.As Trunks took off,Gohan tore off his ripped robes and turned SSJ.He kicked the creature,Ikilia,on top of another building.It crashed through the small sharp edges protecting the wooden rooves,and smashed through the other side to another street.Screams echoed everywhere.The beast bounded forward,reducing a door to splinters.It ran through the house and crashed through the wall at the end.Gohan was standing there,and the creature jumped up.Gohan fired a Kamehameha back at it,making it whimper and fly back through the house onto the next street.People were running everywhere,over each other,into the forest,onto elephant-like things and riding away.Pottery smashed,people tripped and Ikilia howled.Gohan landed on the deserted street,as the beast and him breathed heavily,staring eye to eye.

Suddenly Ikilia roared.It threw back its head,howling at the three moons that alined themselves across the sky in a perfect line.

"What the........I'm sure the moons arent meant to be like that..."Gohan said.The creature grew.It kept on growing to about 20 times its original size,which was about the height of a large wolf.

It snarled and roared,and kicked up its front legs.

"It can walk...."Gohan said.He turned SSJ2 and flew up to meet the creatures face.It knocked him down swiftly with a gigantic paw.Gohan was smashed through a building's roof.The building gave way and buried him deep.The creature clenched its fist and was instantly cloaked in a blue aura.Gohan jumped out of the rubble,throwing his arm back ready to strike.A huge beam was fired from the mouth of the beast,bright blue,knocking Gohan through the sky.He fell fast and crashed into a nearby town,through the buildings.

Trunks placed Dr.Breifs down back in their shady Inn,and stepped outside.A tap was running pouring out green liquid over the empty bar.Trunks stared at it,and took off,becoming SSJ while flying.His waving golden hair was stained red as the beast squashed him with its giant paws.Trunks from underneath fired upwards and destroyed the beasts foot.It howled in pain,blood flowing onto Trunks' head.The blood stained his clothes,mingled with his tears of fright.He flew up and the beast increased in size more.It was now a towering wolf of evil,and Trunks was his prey.With a snap of his mouth,Trunks had been swallowed.

Gohan staggered about,bleeding and aching,pulling out great chunks of sharp pottery from his seared skin.Villagers gasped and dropped things as they strode out of their comftable bedrooms to inspect the commotion.

"Kid!Who are you.............your not from this planet.......whats up with you,kid?"a man said,running up.Gohan fell to the floor,the splatter of soft warm blood signalling his fall into unconciussness.Blood poured along the intersections of the pebbled road.

"Take him inside.Give him rest"the same man ordered.

"No!He brings trouble he brings-oh!"another said.He was stopped short by a huge roar,defeaning and spine-chilling.

Meanwhile,Trunks stood up,wiping as best he could the heavy oozing saliva which covered him thickly.It shined brightly in the dark but luminous stomach of the evil beast that was Imikilia.

"Now what...?I could easily blast through.Something is holding me here.Something is..........."he told himself.A green blob came whizzing towards him.

"Galic blast!"Trunks yelled.The blob exploded.Trunks had a strange desire to go somewhere.

"There must be a way to destroy him inside!"he shouted out loud.Another three blobs shot down.

"Galic gun triple attack!"Trunks yelled.They all exploded.

"This is getting dangerous"he whispered.He blasted off down deeper into the throat of the beast.He crash-landed in the stomach.Acid floated about.In the center,a silver light came down from a hole in the skin.

"What the.........?DRAGONBALL!Thats it!"he yelled,flying up quicker than a handshake,appearing above.There was a heart,huge,beating and red,though translucent.Inside a bright silver light flowed.

"The dragonball........."Trunks said softly,his own heart now beating.He stepped forward and touched it.

"ahhhhhhh!!!!!"he yelled,as electricity flowed through his body and threw him back into the wall of the fleshy interior of his heart.

Outside,the beast grunted in pain,just before it began stomping on one of the towns.The screaming poeple stopped,watching at the beast howled and snarled in pain.

Inside,Trunks stood up shaking.He remembered his schooling lessons on anatomy.

"The human heart is powered by blips of electricity.If our heart was much bigger,it could kill people with its electric powers"

"Now I remember!"Trunks said."But what do I do then...?"

He powered up his Galic cannon,a move his father taught him.His father...........a tear spilled from his eyes,followed by more.He wailed and sobbed pethetically,remebering his mother and father.He lowered his hands and sat down.

"No!I cant just cry.........I've got to do this.For my father........FOR MY FATHER!"he yelled,his angry echoes reverberating off of the fleshy walls.He powered up,his long golden hair becoming longer.It spread out wildly,and then finally touched the floor.The bottom was stained with the blood that lined the floor.Suddenly it changed back to a dark purple.His energy had failed,but his anger had lasted.He had become Giji SSJ3,if it was possible.Trunks stared at himself.

"No time!this is it!!!!!"he yelled,firing the Galic cannon.The heart was tore open,spilling blood everywhere.Trunks flew forward and began pulverizing it,and finally it punctured and gave through,like a popped balloon,spilling guts and blood everywhere.He picked up the silver dragonball from stand of flesh it was placed on.Suddenly the room began to shrink.The beast was dead.Trunks turned around and fired a beam through the oncoming flesh.He flew through as the dead body collapsed on itself.Before long it was a simple wolf,then a dog.The power of the dragonballs had left it.A silver dragon burned the sky,opened its mouth and suck up a cloud of blue smoke from its dead body.The dragon spoke

"You have failed me,Ikilia.Now you have led these fools further towards me.You are a fool!"the voice was cold and evil.

Trunks' hair returned to normal size,and he fell down,covered in blood.

The first dragonball had been accquired.And though hurt and shaken by the nights events,our hero's have survived.But all is not well.
