The Sorrow Saga

Goku happily trained with Vegeta, who wasn't half as cheerful as the third class. The sayijan side in both of them was happy in its own way though, rejoicing in the fact of a good battle. The two sayijans were testing their strengths; after all it was better than listening to their friends talk at the picnic. Goku, because he hardly understood half of the things Chao-zu, Tien and the others talked about; and Vegeta for obvious reasons.
Jacqui was sitting away from the fight. She was eight years old now. Only one word could describe her, adorable. Her blonde hair was fairly long and her eyes seemed even brighter. She was wearing a miniature version of Goku's red and blue training gi. She stood up, peering up at Goku. "Daddy, I want to train," she called.
Goku looked down with a smile. He was about to say something, when Vegeta nailed him with a kick right to the head. Goku did a few flips backward. "Whoa, nice one Vegeta," he said.
"Well you made it a little too easy Kakkarot. You weren't exactly paying attention," said Vegeta crossing his arms.
Jacqui floated up a few feet in the air. "Don't hit my daddy when he's not looking," she mumbled, her fuzzy tail swinging back and forth.
Vegeta tried to hold back a smirk. "Okay Jacqui, you can train with us," said Goku, flashing her a big smile.
The little sayijan grinned as she powered up, acting like she couldn't get any higher.
"Your move sweetheart," said Goku preparing for her attack.
"How much power should I really use?" Jacqui asked, rubbing her head, a family thing.
Goku smiled at her. "However much you want, just don't over-do yourself ok?" he said.
"Okay," she said in a sweet, little kid voice. She went to Super Sayijan two and attacked quite fast.
Goku took it easy on his daughter: 1, Because even though Jacqui was strong as a kid, she's still a kid, 2, Because he didn't want to hurt her and 3, Because Chichi would slaughter him alive if he as much forcefully 'tapped' Jacqui.
"Dad, why don't you ever fight back?" Jacqui mumbled as she stopped. She made a face.
"Because I don't," said Goku with a playful smile.
"Dad I've been training with Ultimate Kai. I think fighting with you wouldn't do anything" I mumble.
"I know, but I don't want to risk hurting my little girl!" said Goku giving her a big hug.
Jacqui sighed. "Dadddddddddd" she whined embarrassed.
Goku smiled bigger as he let go of his daughter and kissed her on the forehead.
"Dad! Stop babying me!" she mumbled as she stared at her father.
"Naw, I won't stop until you're 39!!" he joked
"Ugh" Jacqui grumbled as she looked over at Vegeta. She wondered if he did the same thing to Bra. Vegeta had his arms crossed. He looked at the eight-year-old. "Want to fight me Veggie?" she asked
Vegeta scowled. "Would you stop calling me that?" he growled.
Jacqui giggled. "But Mr. Veggie it's fun!! Now do you want to spar?" she asked again.
Vegeta let out a long sigh. "Fine," he said. Chichi sent him a look, along with Bulma. Vegeta smirked a little as he looked at them.
"Relax guys, she'll be fine" said Goku, reassuring the two women.
Jacqui grinned as she powered up. "Ready Veggie?" she asked calmly.
Vegeta dropped into a fighting stance. "Yes brat, I'm ready" he said, annoyance in his voice.
And so the spar began. Jacqui attacked first, getting some good hits in, but Vegeta did too. The fight didn't last longer than 15 minutes, before Vegeta broke through Jacqui's defenses. He kicked her hard in the stomach, causing the little girl to go flying backwards, hitting a tree at full impact. Chichi screamed, "That monster!"
Vegeta ignored Chichi. 'That Goku picks the best mates,' he thought sarcastically, before bringing his power level back to its usual resting position. Vegeta turned to the 'brat' and crossed his arms.
Jacqui slowly stood up as everyone came around her. She giggled. "You do see stars and dragon balls when you get hit like that!" She laughed as she fell back on her butt.
Chichi ran to her little girl, wrapping her arms around her tightly. "Sweetie, are you okay? That monster Vegeta needs to learn that it's not nice to hit a little girl!" Goku sweat dropped.
"Mom. Mom! Mom stop!" she cried, feeling like she was being strangled. But, Chichi wouldn't put her down. Jacqui made a face at her mom.
Bulma was yelling at Vegeta, "You monkey! You didn't have to hit her that hard!"
Vegeta looked at his mate. "She's fine, besides, she said she wanted to train, and you can't very well train without having pain," he said arrogantly.
Bulma let out a sigh. "Does everything involve pain!?" she said flabbergasted as she stared up at the sky.
"Mom let me go!" Jacqui's cries were still heard. She tried to get out of Chichi's hold, only to have her tail grabbed. The poor girl let out an ear-splitting yelp. "Chi! Please let her go!" whined Goku, but Chichi ignored him
Bulma continued to argue with Vegeta, although it was one-sided. Trunks was lying on his back in the grass. He looked to be twelve years old and was licking an ice cream cone. Goten laid beside the lavender-haired boy, begging him for a bite. Trunks let out a laugh as he looked at Chichi and Jacqui. When Trunks wasn't looking, Goten quickly snatched the ice cream and wolfed it down. Trunks turned back to see Goten swallowing down the last of the ice cream. "Goten!" he whined.
"I want to play, it's not like I'm dead or something," Jacqui grumbled, finally getting out of Chichi's arms and hiding behind Goku.
Goku smiled at ChiChi. "See? She's fine Chi," he said to her.
Chichi let out a sigh. "But...but, she could just be acting like she doesn't feel it," she said.
"Everything still works. I don't feel any pain," Jacqui said, looking off.
"I bet you're just saying that sweetie. That monster is so cruel!" she yelled, talking about Vegeta.
"Vegeta's not a monster. Monsters have ugly skin and three eyes," said Jacqui to her mother.
"Well Piccolo is certainly a monster then," mumbled Chichi to herself as she looked at the green Namek. Piccolo was sitting away from everyone, meditating.
Jacqui slowly looked at Piccolo. "No mommy, green skin is cool," she said. Piccolo slowly opened one of his eyes, silently laughing to himself.
"You're allowed to have your own opinion honey," said Chichi, looking away from the namek.
Jacqui sighed. "Like anyone ever listens to me," she grumbled, crossing her arms. Her tail started to fluff up.
Chichi sent her daughter a look, thinking she was cute. "Of course everyone listens to you," she said.
"They do not" Jacqui mumbled making a face now.
Trunks and Goten started to rough house, punching each other. They were basically just being boys. "Yah! Goten, that was mean. You shouldn't have eaten my ice cream," said Trunks as he punched Goten. "But I was hungry," whined Goten blocking the punch.
Jacqui watched them eagerly. She wished she could play too.
WILL CHICHI EVER LET JACQUI PLAY? WILL TRUNKS EVER FORGIVE GOTEN FOR EATING HIS ICE CREAM? WILL VEGETA AND BULMA STOP FIGHTING? . . . Okay, I think we all know the answer to that question . . . STAY TUNED AND RETURN FOR ANOTHER CHAPTER OF THE SORROW SAGA!
