Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ The Supreme Being ❯ Chapter 1

[ P - Pre-Teen ]

The idea and name of Perfect Iron came from another writer and another story, but I can't remember which

Gohan flew as fast as he could to King Kai's Planet, following the winding road of Snake Way. Gohan knew he was dead, but he was excited to finally, be able to see his father. He hadn't seen him since Goku died of a heart disease; Gohan was only 8 yrs old. After Goku died the Androids came and killed everyone. He, Bulma, and Chibi Trunks were the only Z soldiers left. Gohan trained Trunks when he grew old enough. Gohan knew, somehow, that Trunks and Bulma would find away to defeat the Androids. The Plans for the Time Machine, Bulma had made would definitely help them, so Gohan wasn't that worried about Earth. Gohan blasted even faster when King Kai's Planet came into view.
Gohan gave a shout of glee, when he slowly landed in front of his father, who was dressed in the same red karate gi as he, with everyone behind him. "Hey guys! It's me Gohan!" Goku couldn't believe it. "Wow, Gohan! I never thought you'd get this big! It's good to see you! Wow, I can tell you've gotten strong!" Gohan just smiled and gave his father a long delayed hug. He was glad his father was impressed.
Gohan walked over to Piccolo, whose cape waved in the wind causing a very superior looking view of the Namek, and they just both smiled at each other, understanding each other's affection. Gohan hugged Krillin and Yamcha saying how glad he was to see them. Gohan saw Vegeta, knowing him he just nodded.
Piccolo had filled Goku in about the Androids when everyone started dieing so Goku knew very well that people were dieing down there. This gave Goku a troubled thought. "Gohan, I'm glad to see you, but you were Earth's last hope at defeating the Androids. Now everyone, that hasn't all ready been destroyed by the Androids, are definitely doomed." Gohan couldn't help but smile; apparently no one had filled his father in about Trunks. Not wanting to ruin the surprise, Gohan just answered with a grin. "I wouldn't worry too much about Earth. Bulma is still up there and-"
"Bulma's still alive!" Vegeta interrupted. "Oh…yeah!" Gohan replied ginning at Vegeta. No one was too surprised at Vegeta reaction. No one except Goku. I wonder why Vegeta is so interested in Bulma all of a sudden? I thought they hated each other. "Anyway," Gohan continued, "Bulma had this idea for a time machine and I'm pretty sure it'll work. So, Dad, there are still a couple of people down there still fighting." Gohan said, eyeing Vegeta. He could tell Vegeta wanted to ask a question, but decided not to. Gohan wasn't going to make this easy for Vegeta. If he wanted to know about his son, Vegeta was just going to have to ask.

Vegeta sat on a giant rock away from the others. His sayian armor creaked and moaned as he did, it was getting old. Vegeta had thought for sure that Bulma and Trunks had been killed by the Androids, by now. Now he knew he was wrong. His son had survived, still fighting, alone. As the last of the Z soldiers, Vegeta knew that Trunks would do it, he had to, or everything would be lost. Vegeta knew from the very beginning, getting involved with that woman was a mistake. It just proved it further; when he found out she was pregnant. She was pregnant with his son.
Vegeta then, convinced himself he didn't love her or his unborn son. They didn't matter. Only ascending to Super Sayain mattered. When he finally did ascend, Trunks was already born. Every once in a while, when his gravity machine broke, Vegeta would go to Capsule Corporation and have Mr. Briefs fix it. There he saw his newborn son. Putting on the appearance that he didn't care, Vegeta would just pass by casually, sometimes giving a quick glance. Bulma always caught him doing this, but said nothing.
Vegeta knew deep inside that one day when he felt he was the strongest warrior in the universe, he would return for good and assume his role as a father, and maybe even a husband. Bulma knew this as well, and patiently waited. They constantly fought with each other, Bulma would sometimes find herself hating him with every once of her body. At those times Bulma could feel deep inside that she loved him even more, but couldn't understand why? Vegeta for the time being had convinced himself that he did not love her. Love was weak and would only make him weaker. Things were like this for about a year, and then the Androids came.
Vegeta felt he had shamed his race by involving himself with an alien. Still deep inside Vegeta missed her and desired her. He was embarrassed that he had shown emotion for a woman, an Earthling most of all, and now everyone knew. Everyone except Kakarrot, of course. For that, Vegeta was thankful. He felt he had the upper hand, knowing more than Kakarrot. Of course, now Vegeta had to let Kakarrot know, sooner or later. Later would be better.

4yrs later
Trunks walked in to his house were his mother was waiting impatiently. "What happened to that green monster? Was that the Cell monster from the past?" Bulma had been watching intently, from the window, after her son told her to go inside. Trunks had just a few days ago returned from the past and destroyed the androids with ease. Then, out of the blue, Trunks told his mother to go inside. He then yelled out, "Cell, I know you're out there! Now come out!" Shortly after a green creature, known as Imperfect Cell stepped forward, from behind a nearby building. They both then flew away. Trunks returned ten minutes later.
"Well?" Bulma urged, even more impatient. "Yes, that was Cell, the last of Dr. Gero's creations. And I destroyed him." Trunks replied with a grin. The hard part was over, now for one last thing. Trunks looked at his mother, he knew what she was about to ask. Bulma looked at him, "What do we do now?" He smiled, "We go to Namek and find Dende. We ask him to recreate the Dragon and make the only wish worthy of a wish."
