~Brother's Discovery~

18 sat on the white sand and sighed as she watched the waves. Many things had happened since Dr. Gero's death. She had fallen in love with Krillin and their daughter was now 5 years old. She had died at the hands of Boo, but was revived thanks to the Dragonballs. She still occasionally felt the urge to kill Goku, but on the other hand, who didn't?
She started thinking about her brother 17. He had been absorbed by Cell, but from what she heard, he should have been revived. But still, no one had found him. Since he had no ki, he wasn't that easy to look for.
She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to see Krillin.
"Hey, is there something wrong? You seem down," He said, sounding concerned.
That was Krillin for you. Always so caring towards the people he loved. 18 smiled.
"Don't worry, I'm fine. I'm just thinking about 17, that's all."
Krillin sat down next to her, "Wondering where he is?"
18 shook her head, "No. I'm wondering why he never comes to see us. He must be able to sense everyone's ki, and he can sense me as well because we have a small bond."
"In that case, can't you sense him?"
18 smiled, "No. He's more powerful then me, so he can block off our link so that he can use it and I can't. Which makes me wonder why he's blocking me off."
Krillin put his arm around his wife's shoulder, "Who knows? Maybe he just needs some time alone to think."
She nodded understandingly, "That sounds like him. Or at least I think it does..."
Krillin frowned, "What do you mean?"
18 sighed again, "As you know, 17 and I were human before Dr. Gero started his experiments. But Dr. Gero didn't want our emotions getting in the way of our mission, so he erased all our memories. I don't even remember what my name was."
A single tear slid down her cheek as she continued, "He still kept some of our memories intact. We still knew that we were brother and sister. Twins. We still knew that we used to be human, and we knew that we were 10 years old when Gero first took us away. But we didn't even know how human we were."
She whipped her eyes, then looked at the tear that was on her finger, "I'm not even sure if this is a real tear. For all I know it could just be a mix of different chemicals that were made to look like tears."
As she said this, more tears slid down her cheek. Krillin quickly embraced her and she cried into his shoulder. Her sobs finally died down and she laid her head on his lap.
"Arigatou," She murmured before falling asleep.
(3 months later)
"But daddy! I don't wanna go to school!" Marron whined. Krillin and 18 had recently enrolled her into kindergarten, much to her dismay.
"But Marron, honey, don't you want to get smarter and to meat new friends?" Krillin asked.
"No!"
"Please?"
"No!"
"For me and your mother?"
"No!"
Krillin sighed, then grinned, "For Goten and Trunks?"
"Ok!"
18 laughed. Marron seemed to have developed a crush on the two older boys while she had watched them fight at the Tenkaichi Budokai (fighting tournament). According to Yamcha, she had seemed quite disappointed when Goten had lost to Trunks, but he wasn't too sure.
"How cute," A familiar voice said. 18, Krillin and Marron looked behind them to see a young man with blue eyes and long dark hair.
"17!" 18 exclaimed.
"Well," He said, looking at Marron, "Aren't you going to introduce me to my niece?"
18 ran over to her brother and hugged him tightly. She then pulled away and punched him in the face, "Where were you the past 9 years?!"
17 rubbed his eye, "Ok, I deserved that. But I can explain. I've been living on a farm near South City. Just above Dr. Gero's underground lab."
"Why?"
"Well, when it was destroyed, the blast somehow nourished the land and made it great for cultivating."
18 rolled her eyes, "That's not what I meant and you know it. Why are you living there?"
"When I was revived by the Dragonballs, I woke up there. An old farmer that was passing spotted me and offered me a place to stay. There was something about that old man, and I just couldn't say no."
"What was there about him?"
"He seemed familiar. He then explained to me that he wanted to build a farm near there because the last time he had seen his children, it was at that place."
"And?"
"His children were twins," 17 continued, "A girl and a boy. The girl had blond hair and the boy had black hair. They were kidnapped by an insane old man claiming to be a scientist when they were 10."
18's eyes widened in shock, "Wh... What are you saying?"
17 looked in his sister's eyes, "18, that old farmer that found me was our father."
