Alrighty…I have finally decided to put out this chapter. I have been getting everything from a review telling me to e-mails telling me. Ok here it is…my new chapter! Yay!

Doris held her dress up as she quickened her speed down the halls of the underground palace. She ran to the front of the Kings chamber and knocked as hard as she could. The door opened and an angry king looked down on Doris.

 

“My king I have to tell you some news about your son.” Doris sounded panicked and out of breath as she tried to get the news out for the king.

 

“What is this news that must be told to me at this time?” The king moved aside to let the small lady through.

 

“Lady Bulma as unformed me that your sons change is getting worse…it is the change… you do remember some time ago when this happened to your grandfather. He was unable to stop himself and killed tons of humans and vampire alike.” Doris said while playing with her fingers.

 

The king looked at her in shock. “We must go to Bardock…he would know what to do in this situation.” The king said while playing with his hair. King Vegeta paced the floor as he though of some solution to come up with to help his son. “What if he never gets better…I should have seen this coming…he lost the one he loved all those years ago and it is not just welling up inside him…but how he has Bulma…damn…!” The king stopped in his tracks and thought about what he told his son the night prier. “I told him to take another…” King Vegeta bowed his head. “I told him he was not to have a mate such as her…this is getting worse…the beast inside is getting angrier and angrier…” The king ran a hand down his face and looked at Doris.

 

“You did that to him…no wonder he is in such a snappy mood. Bulma is worried you should have never done this…” Doris was cut off by King Vegeta's voice.

 

“Doris don't start with me…you know damn well I am doing this for his and her own good.” The king stated.

 

“God damn you…I am his mother for Christ's sake. I have to feel worried sometime.” Doris said while covering her face. King Vegeta looked at her and looked away.

 

“Doris please don't get in the middle of this…please…” King Vegeta grabbed her shoulders and pulled her against him. Her blood tears stained his white shirt.

 

Doris pulled away and whipped the stray tears away. “No…I have stayed out of your lives for far to long… I pretended for far to long…I am sick of not being there for him…I was always told from you that I couldn't be there…that it was your wife …the queens job. Then why did you even get involved with me…when you knew this could have happened…thank god the woman actually had a heart and took him in…but goodness Vegeta…what am I to do just let our son waste away?” Doris waited for a reply but he had nothing to say. She has won and he knew that deep down.

 

“That's what I though Vegeta…now I am going to go back and help Bulma…because I know she cares for him and I know they ARE good for one another.” Doris walked out of the double doors and slammed them shut. King Vegeta heard the rattling of the china in his room as the doors shut. He closed his eyes and shook his head.

Bulma walked to the door as she heard the loud pounding. “Child please open up!” Doris's tiny voice demanded.

 

“What is it Doris…?” Bulma looked at her through have opened eyes.

 

“We must go to Bardock…he will have a solution to Vegeta sickness…” Doris told her and grabbed her hand.

 

“But what about the children…I can't just leave them.” Bulma said while looking back at the closing door.

 

“Oh they will be fine…believe me …I have had children I know how these little guys act…they will be fine!” Doris said while dragging Bulma down the hall.

 

They arrived to an open room. It looked to be a lab of some sort. Bulma looked around and finally her eyes were on a handsome young man. He looked at Doris and then smiled.

 

“Doris…what brings you here?” Bardock asked her while leaning down and giving her a hug.

 

“Bardock….my son needs help and we need that cure that you have been working on for a long time now…” Doris explained quickly.

 

Bardock's smile quickly disappeared from his face as he was told what was going on with Vegeta. “Where is he now?” Bardock fired back at her.

 

“I don't know as of know…but Bulma here told me she was with him and he was changing….changing into the creature…the beast…Not the thing that we change into but the actual thing…” Doris explained to him once again.

 

Bardock ran to his supplies and was grabbing for thing in a box. Bulma stood looked from Bardock to Doris. She was lost and she didn't know what was going on at this point. She could quite register if Doris had just said that Vegeta was her son or not.

 

“Can someone explain to me what is going on…?” Bulma said quietly as Doris and Bardock were talking.

 

Bardock stopped talking to Doris and pulled his head up from looking into the box. “You mean you don't know what we are talking about…I thought Doris told—“Bardock was cut from his words as Bulma shook her head.

 

“No…about the son part…” Bulma looked at Doris.

 

Doris smiled at Bulma and then walked up to her. “Bulma dear…I am Vegeta's real mother …I was just put off the side when he was younger…because King Vegeta had a wife already. The woman was a wonderful woman to take Vegeta in. I despise the King for what he has done to Vegeta not even telling him his real mother and keeping me out of his life…” Doris looked down and gave her a weak smile. Bulma smiled and looked down.

 

“I am sorry…I am kind of happy to know that your going to be my mother in law….you should have told me…It would have been nice to know that you were my sons grandmother…” Bulma bit her lip and started to cry. She couldn't believe all this. First Vegeta and then she figures out this woman she loved so much was her son's grandma and never told her. She was so scared she didn't know what to think she just hoped that Vegeta could be in her life again. She wanted everything to be back to normal she he could be there for his sons.

 

Doris wrapped her arms around Bulma and kissed her forehead. “Don't worry dear everything will be alright.” Doris whispered to her. Bulma nodded and walked over to a wooden chair and sat.

 

“Alright here is the stuff…I just hope this works…you need to manage to keep his anger down or this will not work! You have to understand…” Bulma looked up to him and then back down to her feet.

 

Doris nodded and took it. “You need to get close enough to him and then inject this…you need to get to him as soon as possible…or this stuff is useless…that's what happened to all the rest.” Bardock swallowed hard and then looked from Doris to Bulma.

 

“This is my job I will inject it…” Bulma explained before talking the veil from Doris's small hands. Doris looked at her and then nodded. Bulma was the woman that Vegeta loved…and if it was anyone to get Vegeta calm was Bulma. Claire was the same way…if they didn't have Bulma he would be a goner.

Vegeta had his clawed hands weaved through his hair. He was breathing hard. He couldn't control the way he looked. His face now deformed into a beastly looking one. He was much larger than normal. He had ridges down his spine where spikes were coming from his skin. He was ugly now that his anger welled up and came to the surface. He griped his head and dug his now sharp nail into his scalp. He snarled in anger as drool dripped down his mouth. He hissed through his long teeth and narrowed his bulging red eyes.

 

He had to get over this…he needed the one person he loved to be here for him.

 

`Bulma…' the name whispered in his mind.
