Soon I found what I wanted, but it could not be right. How could that have happened to him. He was said to be the strongest warrior. There is not way it is possible. I opened my eyes and stared into obsidain orbs of the man mind I was just invading.

"So I see you have been spending your time doing something that will help you know everyone better. I hope you don't go stumbling onto something you don't want to know. Becareful what you dig through because somethings that are in my mind are as unpleasant as what you must have done to the innocent people on all those planets you destroyed."

"Are you threatening me Kakarott? Because if you are I am sure ready to take this outside. I have yet to have a good fight today. I am sure I could make it worth your while. I am as good of an opponent as my brother if not better. I would love to beat the shit out of you and rub it in my brothers face. If you think that I go down easily you are mistaken. I have killed more people than you could count to seeing how you are just a third-class baka Sayai-jin that hit his head and forgot everything that he should remember. Too bad I will beat you as the weak nin-jin you grew up to be not the powerful Sayai-jin you were meant to be."

"I can see where your brother is related. You both don't know when to shut your mouths and cut your losses. If you want a fight than fine with me. I may not be the Sayai-jin that you are talking about, but I still love a good fight." With that said we walked outside and began our fight.

~Flashback~ Goku's POV

I had just returned from New Namek-sei. I had fought Freeza, but he had escaped. It seems his father liked him more than he let on. I guess I was wrong about that. Well now that we are back on Chickyuu Vejiita seems to be interested in Bulma and she seems to return the interest. Everyone else is a little warry of their relationship, but I think Vejiita will treat her better than Yamcha. I mean he is a great guy, its just he likes to be with a lot of women at one time.

We all gathered at master Roshi's island to celebrate the reuniting of the gang along with some new members such as Piccolo and Vejiita. Also the safe return of Chickyuu-sei's savior, me. Not that I dared to celebrate, at least not with the watchful eye of my wife. She didn't like it when I left to protect innocent people. She didn't even like it when I went to protect Chickyuu along with her. Nothing seemed to happen at first at least not 'till Vejiita showed up.

We left early because she wanted to get the boys to bed. They are such angels. Goten is 4 and very intellegent. Gohan is 3 and he could brighten even the darkest of days with his smile. Kami do I love them. My wife on the other hand, has been watching my every move since I returned. I said good-bye to everyone then Chichi, the boys, and I left.

We arrived home and Chichi put the boys to bed. I went to our bedroom and turned down the covers. Then I stripped down to my boxers before slipping into my pajama bottoms and crawled into bed. Chichi came in minutes later and changed into her nightgown and slipped into bed next to me. I was dozing off when I felt something clasp on my ankle. I sat up to see Chichi turn on the light and look at me. I moved the comforter down to reveal a strange metal object on my ankle. "Chi what is this for?"

"Oh my darling Goku this is to keep you from fighting. Its called a ki ring. It is one of Bulma's inventions. Isn't if splendid? She designed it for her own personal enjoyment and when I asked her for a way to keep you home, she gave me this."

"Why?"

"Because I am sick of being second to you. I want you to spend your time with me not fighting with that asshole murderer. Do you understand me?" she asked as she raised a fist getting ready to strike. I found that I couldn't move. I was stuck in that one spot processing what my wife had said while her fist connected with my jaw. I screamed out as her fist crushed my cheekbone. She continued her assult 'till 3 of my ribs were broken and one had punctured my lung, a spiral fracture in my right arm, a hairline fracture in my pelvis, and a crushed cheekbone were the injuries I sustained. I layed in a pool of blood before she got up and walked out of the room. She slept with Goten that night. I soon passed out from blood loss and exhaution. The next morning I opened my eyes to the sound of Chichi yelling at someone.

~Vejiita's POV~

I woke up like every morning, but something felt off. I didn't pay it too much attention as I got dressed and headed towards the gravity chamber. I trained 'till 10 when I left to go spar with Kakarott at the usual time. I landed at our sparring spot, and waited for an hour before I decided to go see if something was wrong. Kakarott was never late for a sparring match. He is usually ther before I am. I figured I'd be civil and I knocked on the door. His screeching mate opened it. "Is Kakarott here? He is late for our spar."

"He won't be joining you for a spar ever again."

"What the hell are you talking about onna? Of course we will spar again. He never misses a spar."

"Well things change and he is no longer interested. So if you please."

I glared at her a moment before I turned to leave. There was something she was not telling me, but I was going to find out what it was. I took to the air and returned to Capsule Corp. I went strait to the gravity chamber and trained for the rest of the day. Training helps me think, I waited for the right oppertunity and I would go question that third-class baka myself.

~3days later~ Goku's POV

I woke up this morning to the smell of a meal being cooked. I had no idea of what time it was so I just layed there 'till I could tell what time of day it was. I could feel Vejiita and he seemed to be agitated with something. Probably that I hadn't been going to our sparring matches. Well it has been kinda hard to get there seeing as I can't even get out of the bed. I am in the same position I was in on the night this all started and that was three days ago. The blood has dried now, but it doesn't make it anymore comfortable. I wish Chichi would bring me up something to eat, anything would be accepted right about now. I have not eaten since we left Master Roshi's the day I returned.

"Where are the boys?" I asked as Chichi came into the room and shut the door behind her.

"They are in the car. We are going out today, but you are not coming with us. Unfortunately I have somethings that need to be done in town and I can not leave my babies here alone."

"I am still here and I am still part of their life you know."

"Yes you are here, but you will be in no condition to watch them when I am done with you," she said as she brought the kitchen knife from behind her back. She walked forward until she was standing next to the bed.

"Why are you doing this to me? I love you. I really do, but I can not change who I am. When I am dead and gone are you going to do this to our children?"

"I may do this if they start to get like you and leave at the drop of a hat. I am doing this to show you how vulnerable you can be. To show you; you are just as human as me." With that said she started slashing me. She started with my chest and when that was nice and bloody she moved down to my thighs and groin area. I thought I was going to die. The woman I loved was going to kill me because I wanted to protect innocent people that did nothing wrong. People that did not deserve to die so I saved them. She took one bloody finger and caressed my cheek before she went into the bathroom to wash her hands. It was amazing. She only got blood on her hands. Nothing else, not her cloths or anything, just her hands. She walked out of the door and out to the car. I heard the engine start and that was the last thing I heard.

~Vejiita's POV~

Kakarotts hellcat and the onna were going to go shopping. Figures, they are both nin-jins and that seems that all nin-jin onna's want to do with their time. This is a good thing though. It will give me the chance to see Kakarott and ask him why his onna was telling me he won't be sparring with me anymore. I was in the gravity chamber when I finally felt them leave. I opened the door and took to the air. I was at Kakarotts in no time. I opened the door to let myself in I figure he does it at my house I can do it at his. I went directly to the kitchen assuming that the big baka would be there. I was wrong. I looked in the living room, but still no Kakarott. "Kakarott" I asked loud enough to go through the first floor of the house. I got no answer in return. I went up stairs when the smell of blood entered my nose. I looked around and saw an open door, I went in and saw Kakarott lying on the bed in a pool of blood.

"Kakarott what the hell happened here?"

"Vejiita? I'm kinda cold do you think you could give me some blankets?

"What the hell Kakarott. Don't you realize that you have been severely injured? Who did this to you?"

"Why do you care anyway? Its not like you give a shit if I live or die. So why don't you just hand me some blakets and leave?"

"Because if you die than I have no one to pound on. Come on I need to get you to a hospital."

"No just leave. You should be good at that."

"I am not letting you die in a pool of your own blood unless it is me who put you there. Understand?" I picked him up careful of the lacerations on his chest, but when I moved him he screamed out in pain. I looked at him puzzled and asked,"What else happened?"

"I have a fractured hip and 3 broken ribs."

"We are leaving now," I said as I opened the window and flew Kakarott and myself to the nearest hospital. I ran into the emergency room and yelled for a doctor.

"What is your problem?" asked a nurse at the desk. "You don't have to shout. If you need someone just tell me and I will get them. Now what is your emergency?"

"This is my emergency. So if you don't get your best doctors out here now I am going to blast you into an oblivian." I said showing her Kakarott.

"Oh my... um I will get the doctor. Doctor Kostanecki please come immediately to the emergency room we have a stab victim here." She hung up the reciever and said,"He will be right down. You can set him on the strecher right over there and we will get to him as soon as the doctor gets here."

I did as I was asked and followed the doctors and nurses as they wheeled Kakarott into an operating room. I sat in the waiting room to hear the news. About 3 hours later Doctor Kostanecki came out and told me that Kakarott was going to be fine. He wondered how he got those injuries. "Hn. doctor your guess is as good as mine. He wouldn't tell me, but I have a feeling I already know."

"If you want he is in room 98. You can go visit him."

"Hn," is all I said before I went down the hall to room 98. "Kakarott you baka. Why did you let her do that to you?"

"What do you mean 'Jiita?"

"That onna of yours I know she did this to you. Why did you let her?"

"I really had no choice in the matter. She put this stupid ki restraint on me."

"It looks like the one Bulma made."

"It is the one Bulma made, although I don't think she intended Chichi to use it this way."

"Whatever Kakarott. Rest now and you can explain it to me tomorrow." I sat in a chair by his bed and in a matter of minutes he was sleeping. 'I will let no harm come to you so long as I am by your side.' I thought to myself and settled in for a long day.

~End of Flashback~ Kaoru's POV

We decided to finish our fight before anyone got killed. My sister, Gohan, Goten, and Chichi were all watching our fight and soon I realized that this was going to hurt Kakarott more than it would help him. 'I am sorry for what I said to you. Why don't we stop this foolishness and go eat,' I thought to him. He agreed by nodding his head and we both landed on the ground. Everyone was staring at us, mostly me though because we had been fighting for 2 hours strait and I held up against the worlds savior.

We got up and went inside where we all ate our fill and soon made our ways to our rooms. Not me though. I stayed in the living room as everyone else went to sleep. I heard Kakarott and Chichi arguing about something and I knew what was to come in the near future. I had already saw the past and I learn from my mistakes and the mistakes of others. I just hope I can help this time around when nobody let him help last time.

Kaoru: Well what do you think? Was it long enough for all of you? I hope so. If not that is just too bad for you.

Megumi: Where did everyone go?

Kaoru: What do you mean?

Megumi: Your muses where are they?

Kaoru: Oh...they must be off somewhere entertaining themselves.

Megumi: I knew I was going to regret asking.
