She often found herself waking from horrible dreams of death and destruction then not knowing what had brought them on. Every night was the same, with each dream growing worse. Staring up at the ceiling now, she felt the sweat dripping down her face and from her hair before mingling with the tears she had cried earlier. Confused, she tried to make sense of the dreams and found that each time she tried, she failed horribly. Something was wrong and it would eventually catch up to her.

Vejita-sei, present day…

"I thought the orders were to get rid of the woman?" Nappa walked along after his prince then stopped when the shorter man turned and glared at him.

"I will do as I choose Nappa, my father, the people, anyone here cannot tell me what I may do with those things that I own." Turning on his heel, Prince Vegeta continued towards the science wing with a flurry of his red cape. He'd been hearing complaints about the woman for a long time now and the only thing that had kept him from killing her was the way she felt in bed with him and the closeness he felt to her. She held him in the palm of her hand.

Earth…

"I'm giving in to you. I'm coming undone. I'm giving in to you. I'm dying tonight. Cut up in life loosing all my friends. Family had tried to heal all my addictions. Tragic it seems to be all alone again. I'm giving it to you. I'm coming undone; I'm giving it to you. I'm crying tonight. I'm giving it to you. I'm dying tonight. I'm giving it to you. Watch me crumble. I'm giving it to you. I'm dying tonight. I'm giving it to you."

Turning off the radio, Kathi sighed then finished mopping her floor. She had been thinking of those strange dreams for the past week and everytime she would get a glimpse of the person whom called to her, she would wake up. Cleaning the mop, she set it in a bucket then put it away. She wasn't looking forward to sleeping tonight and she wasn't looking forward to being awake at three o'clock in the morning because she had a bad dream.

Dark eyes held hers with casual arrogance then fell as the stocky body lost all power and crumpled to the ground. Blood ran from hundreds of wounds, causing her to realize that he was in trouble. No matter how quickly she ran to his side, she could never save him.

"NO!" Jerking awake, she sat up in bed while sweat dripped down her chin and onto her soaked nightshirt. Staring at the wall, she wondered about the dream then fell back against her wet pillow. "What's going on?"

Vejita-sei…

King Vegita watched his son training against several guards then shook his head when the boy let his blue-haired slave walk onto the training grounds. His boy was too easy on the slave, giving her freedom to do whatever she liked. Seeing his son caress the slave in front of the guards, he growled then stormed away from the viewing stage. He had to do something about that woman…or maybe divert his son's attention in some other way. He didn't need that woman controlling his son so easily.

Vegeta smiled at his little slave then ran his fingers down the side of her face again when she asked him a question. "If you wish to do so then I won't stop you. Build whatever you like."

"Thank you." Bulma smiled prettily then walked away with a smug grin on her face. She had him in the palm of her hand and then she would have him dead.

Earth, four days later…

Radditz and Nappa landed on the planet to begin their search. They weren't sure what they were looking for but they would know it when they saw it.

Kathi finished digging up the last of her plants then sighed when she thought about the way everyone in her neighborhood thought of her. She was a witch, with magical powers that she used to seduce the men away from their wives. Snorting, she stood up and ran her fingers through her hair, dirtying it easily. "Yeah, like I could ever seduce any men away from their wives. I'm pretty in the way a rose is deadly." Looking around, she saw one of the local gossips peering over her fence at her then duck when she realized that she saw her. Shaking her head, she picked up her basket of herbs then walked over to the fence. "Hello Mrs. Smith, how are the wedding plans for Jack going?"

Mrs. Smith slowly raised her head over the fence then smiled a fake smile. "Just fine and I thank you for the rosebush you gave me, it's growing beautifully along the fence."

"I'm happy to hear that, do you water it everyday?"

"Of course."

"Good. Well, I just wanted to say hi because I'm getting dinner ready."

"Ok dear, have a nice night."

"Oh, and I might need you to watch my house and Calvin while I visit my mother tomorrow."

"How is your mother?"

Lowering her eyes, she shifted the basket sadly then met the older woman's gaze. "She still doesn't remember me."

Genuine pity shone in the woman's eyes. "I'm sorry to hear that dear, it's got to be hard knowing that your mother might not ever remember you again."

"Yeah…I just hope she keeps remembering my brother, he can't take anymore pain like that."

"I know, the poor boy lost his wife so tragically."

"True." Her own marriage had failed and ended within a few weeks when her husband had left her for another woman because she still wasn't ready for him to take her virginity. "Well I must go, have a nice night." Smiling sadly, she walked away from the fence and went to her house.

Radditz searched through a rural neighborhood then swore softly when it started growing dark. There was supposed to be a full moon tonight and he was given the specific order not to destroy anything. Landing by a house, he crept into the garage then yelped in surprise when a huge creature walked around the car and growled softly at him before barking.

Looking up from her dinner, she frowned then hurried to the garage while slipping on her shoes. "Calvin, you better not be barking because you need to use the bathroom." Opening the inside garage door, she heard the dog grow quiet then whine softly before slinking to her side. "What's wrong honey?"

Eyes adjusting slowly, he could barely make out the creature standing in the door but when his vision cleared, he could see her. Full lips moved slowly while soft whispers came from her mouth as she talked to her dog in…saiya-jin? Standing, he saw her jump then heard the dog growling again.

"Stay back, he'll attack." Looking down at her dog, she almost sighed audibly when she heard him empty his bladder on the floor in fear. "Why can't you be like most large dogs?"

Calvin whined again then looked up at her, his wet nose flaring as his body trembled.

"It's ok honey, I don't mind too much." Lifting her gaze to the intruder, she studied him in the light of the moon then sighed. "Are you going to rape me in the middle of the night?"

"Wasn't planning on it."

"Great, then you can have a room in the house. I don't want my dog to die of convulsions because he's so scared of you."

"Fine." Thinking a moment, he said something in saiya-jin that earned him a blank stare of confusion.

"What?"

"Never mind."

"Oh…alright then." Turning back to the house, she bid for him to follow her then returned to her dinner. "I don't suppose you're hungry?"

"I could be."

"What's that supposed to mean?" She stopped from getting a plate. "You either are or you aren't hungry."

"Fine woman, I'm starving."

"Great, raid the fridge for what you want." Turning her back on him again, she grabbed her food from the table and disappeared from the kitchen.

Staring at the doorway she'd gone through, he blinked then glanced over his shoulder when he heard toenails clicking on tile behind him. His nose wrinkled when the dog lowered his head and glared at him. "Fine beast, I'll leave her alone if you stay away from me." Opening the fridge, he found a ham and a gallon of milk, which he finished off in very little time.

Fire flickered in the distance while wails of disbelief and fear sounded in the nearby buildings. The dark eyed man crumpled to the ground, staring in horror at another figure before him. She ran to his side and knelt next to him, tears in her eyes. Touching his cheek softly, she bit her lip then screamed in pain and loss as his eyes closed for the last time.

"DON'T LEAVE ME!"

Radditz jerked awake then ran up the stairs to where he knew the woman slept. Stopping in her doorway, he saw her curled in the middle of her bed, crying softly. Confused, he moved forward then stopped again when she looked up at him.

"I can't save him…I don't know him and I can't save him because of it. He's going to die because of betrayal from someone close to him."

"Who?"

"Someone important and respected by many."

"What does he look like?"

"I don't know…I'm so confused and scared. The dreams have been getting worse with each passing day."

"You have dreams about someone you don't know but you have to meet him so you can save him?"

"I don't know."

"Oh."

"I'll never find out what's going on." Curling her feet beneath her, she cried miserably until she felt his arms go around her and his body caving in the bed. Burying her face in his shoulder, she wept bitter tears of confusion before falling slowly asleep.

Staring up at the ceiling, he wondered how she could grow to trust him so completely in so very few days. He'd lived with her for three days…no it was four because she had told him that morning how long he'd been there. Sighing, he wondered if Nappa was having any luck with his search.
