Chapter 2: Prepare For This Impact

"Um… Vejita… that looks dangerous."

Gokou and Vejita were sitting at the controls of Bulma's spaceship, in quite a predicament.

"No shit, Kakarrotto," snarled Vejita in response.

Before them, in the black depths of the beautiful and endless space, rested something very large, very black, and crackling with lightening, and it wasn't a ki blast created by some evil fiend that couldn't be defeated.

"Uh… Vejita… we should go the other way!"

Just feet in front of the small white and black spaceship with the large logo of 'Capsule Corp' printed on the side rested a large black hole. The beautiful flames of stars were quickly being sucked into, going somewhere that couldn't be determined, but was certainly somewhere that the two Saiyajin didn't want to go.

"I'm sure your words of encouragement will be what saves us, Kakarrotto!" came the sarcastic retort from the Saiyajin no Ouji. Kakarrotto snarled in response and rushed out of the control room, ignoring Vejita's screamed questions that followed.

Vejita hissed as he turned back, flipping switches as he tried to redirect power towards the engines. The gravity force of the black hole overwhelmed all the force that he could put in it. The lightening continued to crackle as tiny explosions echoed when planets and stares were consumed by the insatiable hunger of the energy field.

Gokou suddenly appeared outside the ship, cloaked in a spacesuit. Vejita jumped up from his seat, screaming at the screen before him despite the fact he knew the idiotic brain damaged Saiyajin couldn't hear him. In the famous move that had defeated Cell, his hands paired up and pulled back with the muffled cry of the Kamehameha wave. Black, gold, and blue light filled between his palms as it grew in size, and with the final syllable the blast shot towards the entrance.

"NO!"

An explosion of epic proportions echoed as the two forms of energy clashed. The mouth of the hole, consumed into darkness, drank the ship. Waves of energy echoed out as the world around them seemed to expand and contract at the same time. Darkness closed in on both Vejita and Gokou.

Think Kami the idiotic Saiyajin had connected the safety rope from the ship to his chest.

Bardock was dying. It was as simple as that. He saw the blast slowly coming towards him, the blast that had filled his visions and caused him to sob with terror, but as the blast slowly approached, he didn't see that same vision, but something else - his son.

The weakest Saiyajin that had ever existed stood before the demon Frieza. He was calm, compassionate, and a Super Saiyajin. He hadn't transformed, but he would. His life would be simple, happy, and he would defeat that demon-bitch from hell.

The blast approached. Screams of the doomed echoed behind him, and Bardock didn't care. Everything inside him ached with the battle he had fought only minutes ago. He had tried to save his prince. He had tried so very hard.

Golden light of heaven would be overwhelmed with the shrieks and crimson shades of hell any moment now. His eyes fluttered closed with a smile on his face. The name of his son caressed his lips.

Something exploded.

Bardock's eyes jerked open to see beauty circling him. Golden flecks of stars overwhelmed violet shades, and the blast was gone. He spun in the darkness, but the pain of battle caused him to wince and stumble down to the floor that didn't exist. His skin burned as he gasped for air. The world around him contorted, and warm grass slowly filled his senses.

A faint purr echoed out beside him. He stumbled back, falling on hit butt in the mud, to see a small cat slowly walking towards him. It was a simple animal, not the violent cats that were twice the size of Saiyajin senshi, but very small and innocent, with large green eyes and fur of black and gray shades.

Someone approached the cat, and the animal paused. The person stepped beside the animal and instantly the creature purred again, rubbing its round head against the pale skin. The person knelt down and Bardock gasped as he realized she was a Saiyajin! She was a beautiful female, with long black hair that fell down to her torso in wild yet tamed spikes. She wore a simple red dress with a split in the side that revealed the firm pale legs. The female Saiyajin took the cat into her arms, rubbing its head. "I see you," she whispered with a smile. "I see all those you love. They will be here. I will bring them. Sleep, now."

With those faint and elegant words, Bardock felt darkness overwhelming. He collapsed in the grass, eyes in the back of his head.

Raditzu spun, watching the air grow dark and dank. Something was terribly wrong with the planet! He stumbled as the world beneath his feet shook and trembled. The normally red sky exploded as shades of green overwhelmed. The seas began to dry as fish flopped, dying before his eyes. The planet he was on was simple, filled with life, meant to be conquered and purged. Dead bodies coated the ground from where he had fought the last few hours. His body was coated in blood. His hair was matted against his face and back from sweat and blood. He moved across the valley, feet breaking bones with every step. His tail looped around his waist in fear as his scouter exploded over his eyes. Raditzu knocked away the broken glass and wires before he was cut or electrocuted and fell onto the ground. One of his hands wrapped around the arm of a dead being that had died at his hands.

"What the hell is going on?" he roared.

'Shh…' came the quiet voice that seemed to vibrate in his head. Raditzu felt himself slowly overwhelmed and blinded. He collapsed on his back, head staring up at all the colors of the sky faded and nothing remained but the black of space and the occasionally white star or colored spot of a nearby planet, moon, or asteroid. The voice filled him with peace as his eyes slowly closed. A dark shriek of a whistle echoed out in the last moment before slumber embraced him.

"Oh, you're going to die, kisama," Vejita snarled as he rolled onto his hands and knees, trying to slowly climb to his feet without collapsing on the ground with a sickening thud. His head was pounding as if he'd gotten drunk, died, and been wished back all in the same hour. Moaning, he managed to stand without collapsing a few good times and move towards the control panel. He gazed out the screen to see Gokou floating in a peaceful slumber, legs curled against his chest. Vejita uttered a good string of curses and turned to the circular keyboard that rested beneath his hands. With a few pressed buttons the cord snapped, drawing the Saiyajin back towards the ship and causing an unpleasant jerk to wake him up.

Falling into the chair, Vejita rubbed his head. A few minutes later Gokou entered the room, scratching the back of his head as he yawned. "Ohayoo gozaimasu!" he greeted with a chuckle, falling beside the Saiyajin no Ouji. Vejita grunted in annoyance, glaring at the man who had given birth to the boy who had impregnated his son. His sudden urge to reach for Gokou's neck was cut off as Gokou turned to the screen. "Oi! A planet! Is that were the distress call came from, 'Jita-chan?"

"That's it!" roared the Saiyajin as his hair became gold. He delivered a violent kick to the back of Gokou's head. The Saiyajin's head connected with the keyboard, causing a violent display of sparks. Smirking, Vejita's gaze turned back to the planet. "Probably," he muttered, allowing his hair to return to black. He stepped to the screen and clicked an array of keys as Gokou rubbed his bleeding forehead while complaining about the pain.

"Well, Kakarrotto, I don't know," Vejita continued with a grunt. "Because of your hero-antics we are now in an uncharted section of space. I don't know where we are."

"This should be fun! Let's land on that planet!"

'Great,' Vejita thought as he directed the ship for the planet. 'I'm lost in space with a baka who couldn't tie his own shoes if his life depended on it and he thinks it's fun.'

"Where am I?" Raditzu whispered as he sat up, eyes searching the area around him. He rested on a cold golden floor. It was a large room, with three doors resting around him, one on each wall. The fourth wall was made completely of glass, showing a beautiful kingdom resting below. Raditzu crawled to his knees, searching around. A large table rested in front of the wall-window, filled with foods that were unidentifiable yet delicious looking and smelling. A large throne sat at the head of the room, and small pieces of furniture, love seats, couches, tables, dressers, a desk and a vanity sat randomly places.

Raditzu crawled to his feet, trying desperately to determine if he was truly alone. Without his scouter he had no way of knowing expect his senses of sight, hear, and smell, and the only thing he could detect was the food that sat only feet away. His stomach roared out, forcing his mind to forget the possible danger. With a nod in agreement he moved towards the food and began eating.

Minutes later a faint purr echoed out. Raditzu spun around, falling into a guarded stance as the dark blue light of his power consumed him. His tail frizzed around his waist, tightening in preparation for a battle. The door swung opened, but instead of seeing danger he saw a small black and gray cat step through. "Nande kuso?" he muttered in annoyance, slowly standing straight.

"Don't fear young Tiger," came a faint loving voice that was no doubt Saiyajin. Raditzu's gaze jerked upwards to see an elegant looking female step through the same large golden doorway. She was beautiful! Her long black spikes of hair tumbled down mid-back. A silky red dress cloaked the firm curves of her waist and breasts. She stepped forward with a smile, but as Raditzu gazed into her eyes he felt fear. There was no black anywhere in her eyes. She had no irises. He stumbled back, staring at her. "Are you blind?"

"No," responded the Saiyajin female with a faint smile. "I see more than is possible by any species."

She reached down and picked up the fuzzy creature. "You have nothing to fear of me. Your father slumbers nearby and will awake surely, and soon our prince shall arrive. Please, eat your fill." She smiled and turned, walking out of the room. Raditzu watched as the cat growled faintly at him before following its mistress.
