"Mom? Dad? Goten? We're home!" Gohan cried into the small house as the three entered carefully. It was deadly silent in the household, as well as pitch dark; the neatly cleaned table and chairs basked in the only light from the window on the side of the hut. Both Jen and Gohan crept very carefully, always looking around as if expecting to be pounced. Christine raised an eyebrow, stopping at the door to watch her friends move around on the balls of their feet, battle stances ready.

"I can't feel his Ki Gohan…No good can come of this. You shouldn't have taught him how to hide his signature," Jen hissed in a bare whisper, but it was already too late. A flash of black hair and orange Gi, similar to Christine's was the only sign before Jen was forced down by the weight of a small bouncy being. A wickedly childish laugh rang out as Jen cried out in shock, hitting the ground trying to hold the being up and off her. Both Gohan and Christine screamed in fear (Gohan in a more manly fashion, respectively) for a moment as the clatter of furniture and their fallen friend made them back away from the darkened shapes wrestling on the ground.

"JEN!" cried the attacker happily, gripping onto her armor tightly like a deadly leech, preparing to drain the energy from its victim.

"Goten! Get off me you little devil! Gohan, Christine Help me!" She wailed, the little energetic demi - Saiyan clinging to his favorite fake sister, latched onto her so tightly, it took a while to pry him away, even with both of her friends pulling at him. However, it was hard to help very effectively, as the sight was hilarious. Jen's expression was of horror and surprise, while Goten had his eyes closed. A huge smile on his face as he snuggled against her affectionately, his black hair bent against her stomach while his thin arms wrapped around her waist. He had chosen her as his target for the day. It was a ritual to always be tackled by Goten upon entering the house and it was always a mystery that he might attack.

"Goten! What did I say about jumping guests!? And why are these lights off?" ChiChi yelled, marching into the room and clicking on the lights, most likely turned off so Goten could hide better. Goten blinked several times and shrugged silently, finally releasing his captive and muttering an apology.

"Sorry Jen-chan… Just wanted to say Hi… Oh hey Christine!" Goten said, sadly at first before turning chipper and forgetting he was in a small bit of trouble. A huge grin split across his face as he giggled like a child, rushing over to clamp his thin but strong arms around the blonde girl's legs, making her loose balance and nearly fall over.

"Good, now get over here and help me with dinner for everybody!" his mother demanded harshly. Like a mouse, the little boy squealed with fright at the thought of work and dashed to the just-opening door, and Goku picked up his son as he entered.

"What's all the noise Chi? Oh, hey Christine, hiya guys! You ready for the camp out tonight? Haven't seen you in a while. How're ya Christine?" he asked happily while setting Goten up on his broad shoulder, dressed in another replica of Christine's training suit. Orange and blue. The only difference was Goten's long blue sleeves while Christine and Goku both wore short sleeves.

"Pretty good Goku, and yourself?" Christine asked after laughing gently. Goten was passed from Goku to her, as he giggled happily, hugging the family friend with a huge and childish grin on his face. An exact replica of Goku at a younger age. Goku smirked and lightly patted Christine's shoulder with a hefty hand.

"I'm as good as ever! Especially with the whole family around!" Goku cried cheerfully, wrapping a strong arm around Gohan's shoulders proudly, while lightly tapping Jen under the chin and setting both of them grinning. The ideal father! And husband as he moved over and kissed ChiChi on the cheek with a wide smile.

"How about you ChiChi! How's your day?" he asked quickly, obviously he had been out training and hadn't gotten in to see her. She smiled softly while bustling around to get the food ready for 2 full Saiyans, 2 half Saiyans, and 2 humans. A tall order to fill today.

"I'm fine Goku, thank you for asking, now please, go shower up before you kill us all with your smell!' she cried suddenly, pushing him away and steadily out the door, shoving his back as he blinked wide eyed. He kept glancing back at the small woman behind him with started sentences, only to be cut off by her every time.

"But Chi… I mean… please… Come on!… I just want…I'm hungry!…" he blubbered until he was shoved out of the front door and then directed toward the small hut a small ways off to the right. That was the bathing area. More like a combo sauna and spa. Jen, Christine, Gohan and Goten all snickered as they watched the strongest warrior in the galaxy be bullied around by his wife. It was a regular sight, but it never seemed to become normal. Goku was about two times taller, wider and…more gullible sadly. It never ceased to amaze anyone that Goku was so `ChiChi whipped' as most came to call the earthlings control over the Saiyan.

"Now that's entertainment!" came a voice from outside, definitely not ChiChi or Goku's. More reedy, stuffy and happy. There was a moment of confusion, as Gohan looked at Jen, who looked at Christine, who looked at Goten, who looked back, then down the line again back to Gohan. They stood for a moment in the small white and dome shaped hut before carefully moving toward the door. Christine's eyes went wide suddenly with realization and she squealed with delight, handing Goten off to Gohan before she raced outside and all but jumped on the bald short man standing outside watching the scene.

"KRILLEN!" she laughed leaning over and hugging him tightly, lifting him clear off the ground as she hugged her trainer, making him blush furiously but hug back and laugh. He squirmed in her arms, feet right off the ground by a few feet easily. The pair was back together again, clothed in the exact same thing. So now, Goten, Goku, Christine and Krillen all wore the same. Jen and Gohan smirked, being the only other Z-Team members present not dressed in the blue and orange outfit. Krillen's mouth hung a bit dreamily and he closed his eyes as he got a sweet little kiss on the cheek from his pupil, turning solid red and laughing in a faltering tone.

"Christine! I didn't know you guys'd be here already! Wow, hey, set me down here. I'm short enough already!" he stuttered until he was set back on the ground while the rest of the group rushed over, smiling lightly. "Hey Gohan, ChiChi, Goten, Jen, and…Goku," he laughed, rubbing the back of his neck as Goku raced out of the bath-hut, only a towel wrapped around his waist and exposing his scarred and muscled chest. His hair was weighted down, unruly tips hanging with beads of water dropping silently to the ground. No amount of water, hair gel or any man made product could bend out of shape the odd points. Water droplets slid down his skin from already being in the water but after hearing his best friend's voice, he had rushed out instantly.

"Krillen, it's great to see you old buddy! How you doin'?" Goku asked excitedly, eyes wide and happy as he placed a hand on his short friend's shoulder, Krillen being forced to look up at his extremely tall companion. They had been friends since forever. Even if they had started out as rivals and Krillen being so grumpy as a child. However, it is hard not to become friends with a guy like Goku.

"Oh, I'm ok. Just got here from the Briefs's place. They all send their love, Mrs. Briefs wants you all to come over sometime, and Bulma and Vegeta will be coming around tonight with Trunks," he replied, naming off the things he was told to say on his fingers.

"TRUNKS? YAY!" Goten yelled, cheering and jumping out of his brother's arms to dance around. No end to his energy… Dark eyes flashed happily at the thought of his lavender haired friend, his partner in crime, the brains of the outfit really. Goten wasn't the best with formulating plans, but Trunks was quick to plot mischief. No wonder anyway, looking at both the boys' lineage. He then ran in fast circles, laughing in short gasps. "When are they coming Krillen? I hope they come soon, I haven't seen Trunks in sooo long!" he cried, stopping his running to jump up and down.

Jen frowned slightly, placed her hand tiredly on the hyperactive child's head, stopping him from moving too much, but still, with his father's inherited strength, he continued to jump but at a smaller height. "Goten, Trunks was over here just yesterday. Moreover, you were at his place the day before that. And you both went to the mall with Bulma and ChiChi the day before that!" Goten stared at her innocently, counting on his fingers for a moment, before holding up a jumble of fingers.

"That means I haven't seen him in 1 whole day!" he shouted in horror. "Mom, can they come over now? Let's phone them and get them to hur - OW!" he said, but was cut short by his mother grabbing his ear and pulling him off toward the house. Everyone else watched with blank faces and a slightly surprised look as the boy wailed with a mix of pain and annoyance.

"Come on Goten, time to relax and cook supper for two Saiyans, two half Saiyans and three humans!" she said sternly, growing tired of her son's ranting and energetic babbling.

Krillen and the rest stared blankly for a moment more, before they all burst out with laughter. Shaking his head, sadly, while still smiling, Goku explained his wife's directions to hurry up and get clean so he moved back to the bathhouse. Krillen and the three other friends leaned against the wall of the main house, waiting for him. They could not start eating, or go out on the trip without him. It just wouldn't be the same! Not to mention, if Vegeta was coming over, he would expect to be greeted by both Goku and his partial pupil, Jen. She was still in her Saiyan outfit, so he'd be pleased about that too.

"So how are you? I haven't seen you for a while now, since I've been a bit too busy for much training, and I'm sorry for that Sensei," Christine said, bowing a bit apologetically. He laughed, hand slipping behind his head in the classical way of his; looking down and laughing while red streaked across his cheeks. It was a sort of unlucky break for him to be training a pretty girl. Made it odd to ever ask her out or anything. In addition, she was so much younger than he was! Darn that stupid age thing!

"Geez Christine, no need for the whole Sensei thing, we're friends more than that to keep it so formal. I'm just Krillen to you, Ok? And no problem about the no training. Plenty of time for that this weekend huh?" Everyone nodded in agreement as a freshly washed and clothed Goku sprang out of the hut and dashed over, smiling and giving Krillen a hefty hug having been unable to do so before. Then, the group of five walked into the house, chatting happily with the smell of fresh food wafting under their noses and drawing them to the table.
