Disclaimer: I do not, nor ever will own Dragon Ball Z, or any of it's characters. Jen and Christine are based on the author of this FanFic and her best friend.

"Gohan? Jen? You gonna be ok?" Christine asked gently, placing hand on his shoulder. They all sat outside of the Capsule Corp. The two children safely resting in green liquid, their wounds being bio-chemically mended. Depression and silence had fallen over the group, each splitting off into pair it seemed. Jen and Gohan sat, Jen leaning against him on the porch, staring blankly forward, too stunned over the sight of the strong and lively Trunks and Goten to speak much. Vegeta and Bulma had left on their own while Goku and ChiChi sat in the kitchen, the former soothingly holding his wife. Krillen and Christine slowly sat down beside their friends, just as shaken up by it all as everyone else. It wasn't as if they had died, or where in any worse shape then any of the warriors had returned from battle. It was the fact that the peaceful weekend of camping, relaxation and fun had changed so drastically to end in the tragedy of finding family member or friend, wounded and with no explanation of why.

"Yea…I just… Oh Kami. I just can't believe it. What happened to those two? Dad says they were almost buried under broken tree branches. Maybe they fell? But that's too small a drop, even if it was pretty tall, for kids like them to get that badly hurt. Something must have happened before then," Gohan muttered sadly, resting his head against Jen's and nuzzling his cheek into her hair for some form of comfort. He didn't care and no one else seemed to either. Everything was already screwed up… Might as well.

Christine nodded, looking at Krillen who pushed his lips together tightly and scratched the back of his neck before cracking it, side to side slowly. "It's hard on everyone Gohan," Krillen said gently, patting Christine's hand as if to prove that they felt sad too. "Once they hop out of the Regen tank they'll be as hyper as ever and I'm sure, more than happy to explain everything. Besides, I actually think Vegeta or ChiChi is taking this worst of all!"

"Vegeta? Yea right," Jen muttered, arm wrapped around Gohan's while Glancing at Krillen who raised his hands in defense before placing one back onto Christine's as before.

"Hey, I'm just going from what I see. Him and Bulma are just standing there, doing nothing but staring at Trunks in the lab downstairs. Sort of freaky, that's why me and Christine left," he finished and Christine nodded slowly her agreement. Jen and Gohan looked at each other and smirked for a second.

"Maybe they'll fix things up now? Unbelievable, but maybe it snapped a bit of sense into them for once."

They all smiled and shared a light laugh, not sure why it was funny, but sufficing that it helped to lighten the mood slightly. For the rest of the time, they all fell silent, watching the sky from their seats on the front porch, and, eventually it fell to dusk, and soon enough, sleep came to all of them. Christine had her head resting on Krillen's lap, while he slept with his back against the wall, a hand on her shoulder. Jen and Gohan rested against each other, sitting up like Krillen, but with heads and shoulders snuggled against each other, Gohan with an arm draped around her.

"ChiChi. Look outside," Goku whispered gently to his wife, glancing out the window at his son and best friend. "I think they got the girls, finally." ChiChi grinned tiredly and the cuddle back against him after looking out toward them. Yawning slowly, both closed their eyes again, Goku tenderly kissing her forehead while the sat in chair in the living room, ChiChi resting on his lap comfortably.

"Do you think Jen would like lilies or carnations for her wedding?" she mumbled softly against Goku's chest, while rumbled with a low chuckled for a slow second before melting away again. His breathing and heartbeat came back, lulling her back to sleep as Goku looked down to her, grinning uncontrollably. She was one of a kind that's for sure.

"Vegeta?" Bulma asked softly, the green glow of the Regen Tanks, the hum of machinery coming back to her ears as she opened her eyes again. Looking up to her lover, he kept his eyes closed except for a slim sliver of black peering down at her while they shared the same laboratory chair, his arms encircling her comfortingly. No response, but simply listening.

"I'm sorry for everything. I know this weekend was hard on you and everyone. You're right, I shouldn't expect you to be anything what who you are but it's just," she was cut short by his lips claiming hers, and a hand cupping her cheek. Her eyes closed in relief in the almost forgiving lip lock, kissing him back slowly before he pulled away, fearlessly glaring into her eyes and doing the unthinkable.

"I love you Bulma," he whispered gently, his nose brushing against hers and she almost gasped before he smirked lightly. "There. I did it. Are you pleased? I said it and in front of the boy too. A bonus as well, even before Kakarrot's brat. You had better be damn happy Onna," he muttered, nodding his head toward Goten and Trunks, eyes closed, seated in the Tanks bordering the wall. Laughing, she threw her arms around him and hugged him tightly.

"More than you could ever know!"

~sigh~ gotta love it! R&R to get the ending.
